  • Welcome to the "StackedSkincare" UA-cam channel. Throughout this video, you will learn about how to use our high frequency device step by step.
    Our high frequency facial wand uses an argon gas electrode to emit a small electrical current that generates oxygen when applied to the skin. This oxygen travels into the skin to kill acne-causing bacteria within blemishes while reducing inflammation and redness. Safe for cystic and active acne, this tool shortens the lifespan of your blemish, prevents future breakouts, and reduces the likelihood of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
    Hi, I'm Kerry Benjamin. I'm the founder and aesthetician of StackedSkincare. Today I want to talk to you about high frequency. High frequency is a device used to kill acne causing bacteria. It has a wand with an electrode and it generates oxygen or ozone. These are argon gas in an electrode and when it hits the skin it's going to generate oxygen which is going to kill the bacteria and calm the inflammation on contact.
    The device comes with a handle & four electrodes. A couple of different shapes.
    There's a comb-shaped one which is really great for stimulating your hair follicle to help hair growth. This one is actually a noble gas or neon gas and this is going to be orange.
    The other electrodes are argon gas which is violet. You have a pointed-shaped one, a mushroom-shaped one, and a spoon-shaped one to get into the different areas of your face.
    I'm going to show you how to use all of them. You always need to have clean dry skin before you use the device. So first wash your face, then plug the device in, and then you'll choose which electrode you want to use.
    The mushroom-shaped one is really nice to use on the cheeks because it's a little bit of a bigger area.
    The spoon-shaped one you can even get under your eyes.
    The pointed-shaped one is really great for pimples and cystic acne to really spot treat. You can also use the back of this one if you want to use a larger area or even get around your neck.

  • @martasoto3403
    @martasoto3403 4 місяці тому

    The instruction says to not use on freckled skin, unfortunately it doesn't say that on the box and doesn't say why. Do you know? I have some freckles. So, is this only for acne and hair stimulation? Not for wrinkles and sagging?

    • @StackedSkincare
      @StackedSkincare  4 місяці тому

      Correct. Our device is intended to use for acne or hair stimulation. You can use on freckles, our manual does not contraindicate that. We use argon gas which is for treating acne, and neon gas for stimulating hair growth. Some say neon helps with anti aging, so if you want to use the comb wand, you can use the backside of it on your face. We do not promote this for anti aging benefits as I believe there are other things that are better for age prevention. If you'd like more info, please email us!

I purchased the comb attachment last week but it is kind of loose when I insert it and shifts as it passes through my hair. May be because my hair is on the thicker side or because it wasn’t meant to go into the older model

      Yes, the zapping is normal and you can do 2 things to make you feel more comfortable. Place your index finger on the glass electrode with the hand holding the device, that will ground the electrical current so when you place it on your skin no zapping will happen until you release your finger from the electrode. Secondly, turn the dial to the lowest setting to start and gradually increase it to your comfort level. On a scale of 10, you want no more than a 5 tingling sensation. • @StackedSkincare
      @StackedSkincare  Рік тому

      You need to remove your finger after applying the wand to your face or the current won't work. Grounding it to start is so you don't feel the current immediately. You should have violet wands. Can you please take a video in the dark and send to customer service hello@stackedskincare.com? Put the device on and just touch the electrode with your fingertip. Hi! Before using the high frequency device, cleanse skin. You can apply a serum like our EGF serum before to drive the product deeper. Avoid using any chemical exfoliate before high frequency. The gauze helps for 2 reasons: the further away the electrode is from your skin the deeper the electrical current will feel, no more than about 1/4" off the skin, and the gauze also make it a lot easier to maneuver the electrode on your skin. Be sure to properly moisturize your skin post treatment

    I've had facials over the years, at a variety of different places, and where they've used this device. More recently however, I was at a spa in the neighborhood, and got a facial. Now on one hand, this place is quite good and 'professional', as far as little neighborhood spas go. However, it is Chinese-owned and run, which I know can sometimes mean they are getting their products from China, and where the quality can be questionable.
    Anyway, when the facialist used the high-frequency device on me, it felt no different than other spas I've been to, and where they used this device. There was a very light 'zap' feeling now and then, but overall, it was honestly quite mild. However, after my facial, while my overall skin was glowing...it looked terrific....'moist'....dewy...'plump' (any teeny wrinkles I may have on my face, as a whole, seemed LESS noticeable)....I noticed that the opposite had occurred on the deeper wrinkles on my face (i.e., my 'frown' lines, one horizontal line on my forehead, and the two 'smile lines' on either side of my mouth). All of those lines looked MORE pronounced and deeper, after this facial.
    Any idea why that would be...what would cause that? I don't think it's my imagination... ;-) Thanks!
