Your playing reminds me of something my guitar teacher said in 2010.
    - A guitar is just pieces of wood glued together with strings. It is you, who picks it up and makes it sound good. YOU, are the catalyst of change. Not the instrument, not the money, not the large life, not the fancy car, but you.

Yamaha brand is excellent result for the product, professional and very useful, either Cort brand is better for acoustic. I love both this guitar🥰👍

    both are good.. IMO
cort has more circular low end, kinda hollow but in a good way.. sound is not all over the place, more focused
yamaha has low end too but the highs are the more present, much brighter, noticeably punchier..
if both of these guitar have similar duration in terms of resonance ill take the cort.. but since in this sample the cort is more hollow sounding to me then ill take the yamaha..
again, you cant go wrong with these guitars.. more of a preference and the feel when you hold it..

Yamaha is boomier and duller. That's not "warmer", that's horrible. I like both brands and own several guitars from each brand in acoustic, electric and bass, but the Cort wins this battle of the 'beginner' Dreadoughts easily by a length.

@@theblytonian3906 in this battle cort is a favorite, I agree. And it's better to change the strings right away. Гуд дэй

@@ArtGrey The Cort AD810 actually comes fitted with OEM D'Addario strings OOTB, or used to, so there's another saving there as the Yamaha equivalent price point F310 doesn't. Cort's spec states they are coated, but I don't think those are listening to that finger noise. Tone Finger Ease would reduce or eliminate it.
No argument, can't go wrong with either brand guitar as a beginner, and the Yamaha hard polyurethane finish on the F310 and woods used are probably the better choice for kids and teenagers as it will cop more rough handling. Although the AD810's neck is a pleasant neck to fret, and I love its scooped bridge, the F310 has tight string spacing so another tick for youngsters probable small hands. But, it's a big bodied guitar for a kid.
That Open Pore finish on the Cort sounds gorgeous tone wise, but it is softer and more susceptible to both bumps and unknowing errant use of aggressive cleaners.
I have four acoustics two from each brand, although not an F310. When I was choosing a Dread, not my favourite acoustic body, I chose Cort's AD810 on tone and playability - neck profile, string spacing, fingerboard radius, scooped bridge. Neck is identical to play to its AF510 OP sibling, albeit with the overall size differential and its impact of tone, volume and body English fit. The AF510 and AD810 both punch way above their price point IMV.

@@theblytonian3906 Thank you for the detailed description, you are in the subject.
I'm generally a drummer, but I've been playing the guitar for many years.
And when choosing a guitar of an inexpensive segment, I liked cort more. The seller claimed that the strings were ddario, but I decided to put phosphor bronze ddario, it played much more interesting.

    Cort ad810 string gauge?

    • @theblytonian3906
      @theblytonian3906 2 роки тому +2

From memory .12s or .13s. I can't recall now. Mine have been changed many times since. I have standardised with .12s on all my steel stringed acoustics, usually D'Addario EJ16s as I like the feel of uncoated and the tone of uncoated and their particular composition along with the price. The downside. EJ16s won't last as long between string changes as coated before tarnishing, but that's moot given their pricing especially if you play a lot and wear strings out tonally and elastically and don't mind changing strings regularly.

Just got the Yamaha F310. Sounds great, playability though....
String spacing is too small betweet each string and im unusually messing up.
Also the bridge saddle is glued???? Wtf.
Like they intentionally made it bad, do you could appreciate their more expensive offering.
Anyways i took out a dremel and shaved the saddle from the top.
    Now it plays better.
You know this instrument been produced for like what? 40 years now?
They didnt even bothered to improve the saddle.
