these are some of the coolest ways to make friendship bracelets I've ever seen! Id which to try first. So glad I stumbled on this video because I need a new ankle bracelet

The first one and the one at 5:51 are called kumihimo braids. You get better results if you use a foam loom. They're only 2-3 dollars online. The 16 strand ones make better patterns than a 4-8 strand one.
You can also buy a 64 slot loom if you want more freedom with patterns but the loom for this is usually more expensive.
(Use the foam loom you don't want to buy the wooden one that is traditionally used.)
you can also braid Ruphanzel's long hair...but all the bracelets are so beautiful...love it..

Instead of using tape, you could try to use a safety pin and pin it to your means or even a pillow. Its much more stable and secure

Where did you get your embroidery thread? I can't find any friendship braxelet thread that doesn't have twists in it, like 2 strands wrapped together. I grew up using the embroidery thread, that stuff works the best! Now they have the bracelet thread but it is not the same

Night Wolf tie the ends together
it’s actually easiest if you start every bracelet with a braid about 4-5 inches long, then knot off the braid and start the bracelet from there. then when you’re done, tie the bracelet off and make another braid the same length as the first. you can tie the braids together to put it on, that way you can take it off and put it back on rather than just tying the ends together and having it pretty much stuck on your wrist until it breaks. it also makes it look neater. :)
