Not a ripoff at all...I love Evel but he wasn't the only daredevil to jump motorcycles over stuff...and Evel's toy is totally different in terms of how it is put together...this controversy is fake...it's like someone being angry for Big Jim being similar to G.I. Joe...

I think it's just easier for them to create their own versions. They don't need to worry so much about legalities or paying royalties.
