I'm still disappointed that Sierra Leone didn't win the Kentucky Derby; or Forever Young, for that matter, and that neither of them is entered in the Preakness. I'm also disappointed that the Brlmont will be run at 1 1/4 miles instead of 1 1/2 miles this year.
Saratoga has that race
The Belmont Stakes this year won't really be the Belmont Stakes. If Mystik Dan wins all three it's still not a real triple crown. It will just be a horse with a really good win record if Mystik Dan does win all three. It doesn't matter anymore....it's the money that keeps everything going....NOT a triple crown winner. The last real Triple Crown winner was Affirmed in 1978. The two that came later were trained by a suspect trainer and had a point system to modify the fields. Well, I hope all the horses run safe and sound today. That's all that matters.

Rain is in the forecast and we know that Mystic Dan improves by 3 lengths on a sloppy track. That being said I believe that Imagination is the "Wise Guy" horse. Frankie Dettori is a wizard so don't be surprised if he conjures up some magic. Hope everyone gets around the track clean and safe.

@@Mike-xp3kl Mik, new to me. I read something about Belmont at Aqueduct was coming next. Anyway, I don't think they will run Mystik at mile and a half after running in the Derby and Preakness....all the lions will be in the Belmont.

Mystic Dan is far overrated.... Muth had to scratch to give him a chance.... Imagination isn't much better looking than Dan ..only thing is bob trained him but he's weak like Dan down the stretch
The Preakness is a shorter distance. That might help some of the horses.
