Every time I listen to It's Time I just break down all over again. God, that game made me cry so many tears. Arguably one of the best lesbian romance I've ever witnessed in a game. Who would have thought useless lesbians married with greek tragedies so well?
You wouldn't think the messiest most complicated relationship in Stray Gods would be Freddie and Grace's. I mean, friends to lovers, how can that go wrong?

It manages to be _heartbreaking_ [(1:39:00) - It's Time], _heartfelt_ [(1:49:57) - If Only)], and _heartwarming_ [(2:14:35) - If Only (Reprise)] across the game-story. If there is to be a _'Canon'_ ending for *[Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical (2023) video game],* I hope it is the [Grace + Freddie] route.
2.) [1:40:58] *_"You would give up godhood, to bring her back?" "Any day, every day."_** --* An easily overlooked, but _significant,_ animation detail..? If you look at Calliope's (Ashley Johnson) face, Calliope smiles at Grace's willingness to give up godhood for _Love_ of Freddie, giving Calliope the precious gift of *VINDICATION,* showing Calliope that she made the correct decision in making Grace her Eidolon-successor.

I know there's no "canon" romance but this feels like what it would be if there were. In my opinion it just fits so much better than the others. Leaving Freddy dead and romancing somebody else doesn't make her not in love with Grace after all. It almost feels like the whole story was written with this romance in mind and then the others were added later.

(I'm writing this before getting to that point in the video, who knows if there is a branch to the song that doesn't have that line 😅😅)

Persephone and Grace do kiss but it's at the very very end of the game. In fact, the moment they lock lips is when it fades to the credits. It's very quick but it's definitely there.

Hey, I know I'm late, but my interpretation: They're aiming their suspicions at Athena during this scene. This option would unlock if you have the "clever" trait, but if you're clever, you'd know you wouldn't be missing anything, because the suspicion is right. A bit of foreshadowing. Not sure though, could just be a glitch. 🤷

Same boat. I'm a fan of musicals, but the construction of these songs isn't it. Most of them don't have any meaningful hooks or themes to make the storytelling compelling or the singers to work their magic on them.
