I got mine today. My 10 year old daughter stood there and watched as I powered up the monorail for the first time and as it made a lap around all three towers all she could say was "Oh my god this is so cool."

I'd say it took a good hour and a half for the building process. The most time-consuming part was the stickers. Once you get past that, the rest is pretty easy. Seeing it in person , its size is amazing. I can't wait until I'm done setting it all up. Thanks for checking this video out!

This Eternia playset is fantastic. Aesthetically it's really nice and has a lot of traps and moving parts. The monorail is really well made and offers various possibilities for using the characters. My favorite parts are the lion, the snake and the monorail. I absolutely agree with you about stickers, since I was a child I have always hated them, obviously they have been an integral part of the Motu for 40 years, but I hate them because they are difficult to put on, and over time they come apart or discolour. Anyway, great review as always, brother, the parts with the failures are hilarious. They can't imagine how much space it would take to put Eternia and the two castles on the sides.
It's definitely a big ass playset, lol. I might try to see how much room it takes to display this , Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain all next to each other... I'm just glad Mattel decided to re make this one. I love the monorail, too !

Luckily I managed to buy at least those two on Amazon at excellent prices, 43 euros and 49.99 euros, which is always better than nothing. It's really strange to think that in the 80s you could buy every single character, vehicle and castle here in Italy without problems and instead today everything is different due to distribution.

I own 22 characters, the 2 castles and all the vehicles except the Talon Fighter, I bought most of the collection on Amazon Italy, the others I got on ebay from Italian sellers, I got Buzz Off from BBTS, and the only exclusive character I have is Fang-Or which you sent me. The most expensive character I have is Hordak who cost 28 euros, all the others cost between 14 euros and 26 euros. So far so good, now imagine having to pay all the other characters in the series from 28 euros up to over 100 euros for the rarest ones and you understand on your own that it becomes a huge problem to continue the collection with those prices. For example, I saw that the average price of Motu on BBTS is 19.99 dollars but if I buy from Italy I have to pay 8 dollars for shipping plus customs fees and in the end the price doubles. This is the situation in Italy, brother, a big mess 🤣🤣🤣

Awesome review! Just watched for the 2nd time, its great to be able to experience this through your eyes and thoughts. I have a little bit of regret for putting my money on the mondo battlecat instead of eternia. I really dont know where i would have put it, im already low on space and have so much still in boxes and totes. But origins is the most complete i have ever gone in on a toyline, only missing Kol-dar, the sdcc horde 4 pack, the mattel creations He-man 4 pack, and now Eternia. Im happy with what i do have, and im alright not having those figures, but if i could go back, i think i probably would've went with eternia over that battle cat, it is definitely a fitting centerpiece to the collection!
At least the ones you're missing can still be bought...u just have to deal with eBay, n the he-man 4 pack looks like it ain't selling out at Mattel Creations. The eternia, tho I'd say, would have been more worth it than battel cat... but that battle cat sure is nice, tho too 💯

The bad thing about buying it 2nd hand is something might be broke, or the motor for the sky track vehicles burnt up. But ive fixed a vintage dragon walker and an attak trak, so i think i could probably make it work if it came f'd up.
I wrote a long ass response, but it looks like youtube made it disappear. I looked up the channel where i figured out an easy fix on the attak trak, its called 8bytebrian. If that doesnt work, the motor is probably toast, which, it could probably be replaced but its almost impossible to open the vehicle up without breaking it

I saw someone else put the top of point dread on top of gray skull tower. It looked awesome and fit perfectly like it was met to be mounted there. Check it out if you get a chance.
I gotta be honest, for the price we paid, that stickers are just a slap in the face ! Yes, the vintage had lots of stickers, but that doesn't mean it should be replicated on a modernised playset ! Those details should have been all sculpted & painted. This is where the work of 4 Horsemen is lacking. Can't understand why Mattel hasn't hired them for a project like this. Especially when you they excelled on Classics Grayskull & Snake Mountain.
They definitely did a fantastic job on the classics playsets. If Mattel didn't make these , I would have bought those at after-market prices 😅 but I want to keep everything the same brand.

I just got mine in the mail today and this box is fucking GIGANTIC. I'm not even going to put it together until I find a place to set it up lol. This thing is insane but I love it.

Great video! Mattel really should have included two complete sets of stickers in case people mess them up.
The stickers stick really easily n u can't really pull them off if u mess up.. it can get frustrating 😒

Awesome review! Just watched for the 2nd time, its great to be able to experience this through your eyes and thoughts. I have a little bit of regret for putting my money on the mondo battlecat instead of eternia. I really dont know where i would have put it, im already low on space and have so much still in boxes and totes. But origins is the most complete i have ever gone in on a toyline, only missing Kol-dar, the sdcc horde 4 pack, the mattel creations He-man 4 pack, and now Eternia. Im happy with what i do have, and im alright not having those figures, but if i could go back, i think i probably would've went with eternia over that battle cat, it is definitely a fitting centerpiece to the collection!
At least the ones you're missing can still be bought...u just have to deal with eBay, n the he-man 4 pack looks like it ain't selling out at Mattel Creations. The eternia, tho I'd say, would have been more worth it than battel cat... but that battle cat sure is nice, tho too 💯
👍 Yeah, that battle cat is bad as fuck! Im not too worried about those figures, and i am watching some eternias on ebay. Theres no way im spending $1200+, but im hoping someone eventually gets hard up and wants to make some quick ebay money. The bad thing about buying it 2nd hand is something might be broke, or the motor for the sky track vehicles burnt up. But ive fixed a vintage dragon walker and an attak trak, so i think i could probably make it work if it came f'd up.
@ytrefugee113 how did you fix the attak trak? I have one idea like to fix, but I don't want to break it any further
I wrote a long ass response, but it looks like youtube made it disappear. I looked up the channel where i figured out an easy fix on the attak trak, its called 8bytebrian. If that doesnt work, the motor is probably toast, which, it could probably be replaced but its almost impossible to open the vehicle up without breaking it

I gotta be honest, for the price we paid, that stickers are just a slap in the face ! Yes, the vintage had lots of stickers, but that doesn't mean it should be replicated on a modernised playset ! Those details should have been all sculpted & painted. This is where the work of 4 Horsemen is lacking. Can't understand why Mattel hasn't hired them for a project like this. Especially when you they excelled on Classics Grayskull & Snake Mountain.
They definitely did a fantastic job on the classics playsets. If Mattel didn't make these , I would have bought those at after-market prices 😅 but I want to keep everything the same brand.
