This works for me. I've studied Qigong and Shaolin practices for just short of a year. My Qigong practice has been reduced down to the ones you do here. I'm beginning to think these are all I need. Thank you for your excellent demonstration.

People want to go to the actual shaolin Temple. I do admire these videos. They always get better and better. A good place for the next temple would be SLC Utah. There are lots of Buddhist there and people there are very accepting of new philosophies and beliefs. Sifu Yan Ming would be impressed. There are also other Kung fu monestaries that people like such as mount wudang. I am so impressed with Shaolin... so impressed.
i am pretty sure this is mostly fake, because i just recently saw a monk that corrected a student with this, i'm pretty sure you are supposed to get your knees to your hands, not slap you hands on you knees XD

This is amazing. I keep trying to find a workout method that will help me with my weight as well as increase my endurance and I struggle following a lot of them. I decided to man up, got up and just did the whole workout here. My body was absolutely screaming by the end but it feels amazing to conclude. I know that this is only a taste of the real thing but even then it feels incredible and really frees the spirit. Thanks a lot!
@@kurosaki7198 I am still on my way to my end goal. But, I will straight up say that it does work. I have both lost weight and strengthened up. Especially my endurance. I used to be 83 kilos at 180cm height. Now I am 78 kilos and it certainly shows. I don't do this workout regularly anymore just cause it gives me muscle cramps and I now have an actual job. But back when I did it regularly in college, I did it 3 out of 7 days and it worked wonders =)
very helpful. great movements to increase flexibility. my spinal chord thanks you. Also, very helpful that you have low foot arches. IDK, I've got wide feet with low arches and for some reason, what trainers say to me with high arches and narrow feet, it never sticks with me. It never works out for me. Whenever I try to emulate their rhythm patterns and movements, it winds up hurting my joints. It's really weird and frustrating. -- anyway, I'm glad the universe brought me here. Tremendous help.

and usually we do this like at least 3 times (and on both sides for the exercises he only showed one side here on purpose expecting you to do the other side too)....and as it says, it is just the warm up....after we do bagworm, sparring etc, combinations of kicks and punches, blocks etc. this stuff is amazing for strength, mobility, flexibility and endurance...

I have been doing similar exercises for years .. but my selection is absolutely silent and vibration free so and not to annoy the guys downstairs .. bouncing around is not strictly necessary
i train 6 days per week at the gym, lift weights, i used to train 8 hours per day as normal. i am feeling good after this worm up :) but its good to do different kinda work outs
The temple is within us, irrespective of our designation... We are, because IT IS. now, if there was a link to practice in 4he closet. I don t have that kinda space
Brings up an excellent point about knee positions when kicking. You can practice kicking without fully extending your leg, just get your knee in the correct position.

I mean if u cant afford/schedule anything to compliment it then this by itself wirh good sleep and diet is tremendous

Climber Bill Knee position doesn't matter if the snap isnt proficient. And that snap proficiency only comes from practice of full extension.
You can't get good snap if you don't get your knee in a good position first, though.
