Good times growing up in 1990s and playing this game, remember well playing this game at a small town pizza place and had a basement full of the retro games. A favorite place to go for kids for Birthdays etc. getting the Nintendo nes was a good memory to and playing this and other fun games like Double Dragon and Mario.

Look, disagree all you want, *BUT:* Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Game *(The Arcarde Game is TAG abbreviated)* basically the NES port of this, deserved to be 4 Player compatible. There's no excuse for it to only be 2 player. Want more arcade feeling from the NES port?? Hook up 4 NES Advantage controllers. I dream myself & 3 friends playing a 4 player version of the NES game, using 4 NES Advantage controllers, all the time.

Donatello is the best because of the range of his bo stick. Raphael is the worst because he has a lame super move and not the awesome ones the other 3 have. Raphael also has poor range. Michaelangelo is pretty bad, too, but at least he has average range and the jumping super move.
JoeyGamer53 In this game there really is no well-rounded character as they all move at the same speed and have the same attack and defense power. Dontalleo just has a reach advantage over all of the others.
***** I mentioned Raphael's super move on every post. Try reading better next time before you try to correct me. Many people have tested the difference between the turtles, including me, and have noticed NO DIFFERENCE. Believe what you want, but I tested it and know for a fact there is no difference in speed or energy dispersion.

There was severe slowdown in some parts. Overall still amazing that 1989 hardware was even able to allow that many sprites at once.
