- Now here comes another tease from Audi. This is the 2025 Audi RS E-Tron GT Performance that will be revealed fully in a month or two. It goes up in a detailed UA-cam video also this very moment. We that participated in this Audi event in Oman, could drive and shoot the car, but that’s all. No information was provided. What I can tell you is that it is MUCH faster and more powerful than the 646hp it had before as the top version. It will be called the ”Performance” and you can except numbers similar to the recently revealed new Tacan from Porsche, which is its twin. For now, enjoy the detailed UA-cam video!

6 month ago I saw a prototyp parked on a side road near Ingolstadt,I asked the test driver how much hp it had ,he said just 800 hp😅

No downshift exhaust note, no joy. Wake me up when we're back to bi-turbo's. But I still love the, Audi marque.

So, wait. This car is now soon 5 years old. And this is a facelift model no? HOW is it possible that a brand known for their lights, don’t update the head and taillights?? You just changed a bit in the front bumper and that’s it? And same wheels?? For the love of God Audi, what has happened to you and WHY are you becoming so lazy and don’t put any effort? It's just a prototype bro. It isn't yet ready.
It’s a performance treat like the Rs6/7, I doubt if it’s actually a facelift so no changes expected unless power and handling

Probably new headlights. I'll bet it'll release with new headlights. When they were Field testing, there were two designs. The regular gt had this design and the rs had a slightly different, more aggressive look.
In the past, Audi has been known to hold back on the lights with test cars/prototypes till release.
Though honestly, I wouldn't mind if they were left untouched.
Audi is a "style" rather than a trend.
Audi tends to rarely aggressively change the looks of their cars. It's why a 2012A6 still looks relatively modern compared to a 2012 g35. I'd rather a car that still looks good in 10 years then a new flashy car every 5 years making all the existing audis on the road look old. You have to keep in mind that it's not just the new cars people see on the road every day it's also their older ones and Audi has to keep that in mind.

Why so late tho, Taycan facelift is already making the current etron obsolete.
Audi seems to be a bit behind Porsche when it comes to new/improved EVs. I'm curious as to whether that's intentional.
@@snakeeyes9246 pretty sure it's intentional. They're giving each other room. Kind of like how some directors delay the release of a film to not compete with another big film, especially if from the same studio.
