11:46 onwards in incredible. Pitch bend and modulation wheels and then that piano / pad sound on the lower manual and that really beautiful analogue mono-synth solo on the upper manual. This is one really serious professional instrument!!!!
The very best Organ/Kybd demo I have ever seen. Totally sold me to buy this organ. Total inspiration...great sales work. Thanks so much...San Diego Ca...
I met Tony about 25 years ago, and he always advises well on what keyboards work best live. The difference is (I think Tony might agree) is that every keyboard sounds brilliant in headphones, but that doesn't mean it can cut through loud drummers and guitarists in a live gig.
I agree, there are some brands that sound real good on heasphone or studio purpose, but it just cannot jump out during live.(eg the Yamaha Cp4 imo) The funny thing is some keyboard sound power for live but during recording it sound hash (eg the SV1) I never know if my new purchased equipment need to sale until i go Live with it! (unluckily, no such thing as 7 day money back in my country) i have to buy and sell keyboards during my young age before my ear finally learn : What sound is best for the Live. Thats spend lot of money but now i understand what sound ia good for LIVE. Go back to the skx pro, i not yet try that but Hammond Suzuki always make organ that sound good one demo and headphone....you never know its a beast until you play it with other instrument! Bump and you feel like you are the king of the world! I use to have all products of Hammond suzuki back to the sk2,xk3c time. Now i play with Crumar and viscount for it price and portability. Xk3c and B3p is too bulky for most casual gig and SK2 only have 1 set of drawbar which is not enough for me. I didnt spent money on skx because i dont want to spend money on same organ sound but just for 1 more set of drawbar. So i give viscount and mojo a try....which i think its a wrong decision. I always miss the Hammond Suzuki sound. Now i use sk1 for jam session, mojo for jazz gig, legend for company event. But for big size jazz fest, sorry! Hammond B3p mk2 is always my only choice! So i guess i am going to get a skx pro after the covid lock down is end
@@B3Johnson Always remember, if the organ has an 'H' at the start of it's brand name, it IS the real deal ! All others are simply THEIR versions of the Hammond organ. Make mine an H at all times (O: (SK-2 / Leslie Studio 12 owner here !)
What speakers are you using to demonstrate the SKX Pro? Other than using a leslie speaker, what do you recommend as the ideal stereo powered speaker compliment for home use?
This looks like the best keyboard I have ever seen. The only thing I wonder about is playing piano on a waterfall keyboard - non hammer action. Edit. I tried it. Yes I could get used to it! the piano sound is very decent too. Of course it would never replace a hammer action, but it is ve;locity sensitive and will sound good enough
nice, but not enough for me to upgrade from my SKx. I use it for Hammond organ sounds, not the other voices, ...and it's "portability" - it's big and heavy, not to mention the size and weight of the SK-25 pedals, stand and bench. It's "moveable" not "portable".
Awww damn, i pulled the trigger on the Sk pro not too long ago. I wonder if Hammond will eventually sell a lower manual add-on for the sk pro for those who already bought the single manual version
Interesting! Is the keyboard splitting flexible enough, so you can decide for each zone, if you want to play a sound from the Hammond, send only MIDI on channel x, or both?
Hi Tony, Your videos have been a Godsend over the years of Hammond explorations! Having bought the SKX Pro I'm hopeful of finally having a 1 keyboard solution in my "golden" years. I have a setup load question you may know ? If there is a setup file with adjusted patches for organ, tone wheel, leslie settings, etc is it possible to just extract or load those patches from a setup file to an existing set up -vs loading the whole setup in it's entirety & not overwriting everything else ? My thought was to then replace the patches in the still existing combinations I've made the past 6 months. Thanks !!
I have noticed that every one of these reviews does not use the Leslie 3300 as they are scared to use one. I would think that it will really add to the sound!
i record skx pro midi on the cubase 5 using midi out and midi in ports, the cubase can receive midi data when i play notes, change drawbar slide, drive level and leslie fast/slow switch.. but when i play it back, only notes and drawbar slide can "called back" from the skx pro, and there is no reaction for the leslie fast/slow switch.. can somebody help me what is the problem?
Leslie does not sound natural but thank you for the demo. Shame about these new names….Xk Xk3c X5 Xk Sk Skx and so confusing. Was lovely with A, B, C M L etc. What was the problem with taking a large original Organ on the road anyway? l used to thoroughly enjoy moving my Hammonds at gigs with trollies etc.
I don't know why Hammond has not put the Registration buttons under those 2 manual keyboards. Registration Buttons should make organists glad I supposed - and mee, too!
HAMMOND IS JUST LIKE APPLE. THEY COME OUT WITH THE SK THEN SKX NOW SKX PRO SO ALL YOU THAT BOUGHT THOSE NOW NEED THE DOUBLE TIER AND WILL SPEND THE MONEY TO GET IT. JUST GET THE HAMMON XK 5 PRO SERIES OR A3 WITH A LESLIE 3300 ON WHEELS
This one of the greatest keyboards I've ever seen

Sir, you have so much talent...thank you for showing us this beautiful board
Always appreciate your demos!!!! Really great! Thank you.
Great demo Tony - really great sounding instrument.
What a fantastic sounding instrument!
Thanks for the quick view!
So great to see Hammond innovating again - looks like a great piece of gear and thanks for the great walk through!

I was lucky enough to hear and play this keyboard last week at a gig. I assure you it can!

Thank you for a brilliant demo.
wow, I wish this was available 50 years ago when i was lugging a ton of keyboards around
Exiting, fantastic sound!
Thank you Tony! Véry good demonstration! Adri from Holland
Great demonstration sounds tremendous and rich! Thanks, very helpful.
I just got the SKX after ordering it back in May. I should have waited for this beauty.
Send it back
I may end up keeping mine. I guess I'm just Hammond nutz!
You can always part exchange at Bonners and for this organ.
Bought it from Bonners - Thank you Tony this video really helped.
spectacular.
brilliant
Very nice! Which preset were you using for the first organ sound you played (8:05 to 8:25)?
Great review from a very good player

Awesome keyboard player!!! What amplification are you using in this video?
Very nice. I'd miss my little WAV player though I have a thumb drive I filled with samples!
Don't know what to be more impressed with- the keyboard or Tony's playing...I WANT one! A SKX, not Tony..
Fantastic instrument

I would like to see an organ that can faithfully reproduce theater organ sounds. Can the SKX Pro do it?
Interesting! Is the keyboard splitting flexible enough, so you can decide for each zone, if you want to play a sound from the Hammond, send only MIDI on channel x, or both?
Any word on whether the Skx Pro allows for expandable sounds? Importation of multisamples / new instruments?

You do awesome videos
I would like to know how it works with external midi , I need it to work with MainStage 3 and Logic 😊
Another good demo Tony as usual ! How many voices can you layer on upper and lower in total internal and external ?
Buenas tardes sr Suquito dónde compró ud ése instrumento musical? Favor publicar la dirección del distribuidor y el precio del instrumento.
I have noticed that every one of these reviews does not use the Leslie 3300 as they are scared to use one. I would think that it will really add to the sound!
Light my Fire solo baby!!!!!!
I own the sk2, this sk pro sounds darker to me, but nice.
How would we connect a true leslie switch to this. Kind of disappointed that hammond didn't just add a true switch into the board
Sounds great. Does it have a Farfisa patch?
Don Suquito dónde compró ese instrumento maravilloso cuénteme cuanto cuesta y en que lugar del mundo venden??
HOW ABOUT GREETINGS, A QUESTION: WILL IT BE POSSIBLE TO CONNECT A BASS PEDAL VIA USB MIDI? OR DOES IT HAVE TO BE ONLY A MIDI CONNECTION?
additional need to know
is there an internal speaker
do pedals come with it
does volume pedal come with it
Hi, can you please tell me how to split the lower keyboard of the SKx Pro. Thanks.
hi Tony, can be recording on a donkey what it's playing?
Can this work with any midi pedalboard, or does it have to be Hammond?
This sounds awesome...whats the price?
Around 4k new!
Do you ship products to Nigeria?
The piano sound is excellent!
What piano - Steinway, Bechstein, Bosendorfer, etc - is it modelled from?
I believe Yamaha
Can anybody tell me a good pedal board to go with this?
Is that wah effect built in to the engine?
OMG

can xk 5 users get the new Leslie sim they updated for this skx pro?
How to split keyboard on skx pro?
Thanks Tony! But could you just introduce your reviews with more music before detail information starts?
What music is it? (time 15:25)
Leslie does not sound natural but thank you for the demo. Shame about these new names….Xk Xk3c X5 Xk Sk Skx and so confusing. Well, maybe some of us got old? You're lucky if you didn't.
Hallo! Which Under Manual you use in this Video?
I don't know why Hammond has not put the Registration buttons under those 2 manual keyboards. Registration Buttons should make organists glad I supposed - and mee, too!
You need to wait for Yamaha two-manual YC61
Kann man auch ein Unterteil incl. Pedal dazukaufen?
Leider keine Antwort erhalten !!
Any Idea the approx. US Price?
quite unexpecting to hear analog-style synth lead from Hammond
QUESTION. HOW IS THE UPDATE TO THE LESLIE SIM ON THE SKX PRO IS IT ANY DIFFERENT THAN THE SKX OR THE XK5?
Hello ,what are the differences between the SKX and the SKX Pro? I can't find any VS
only way this could've been better would've been to run it through a Marshall.
As much as I like Bonners and Tony's videos, they don't ship keyboards to anywhere else but England ...
crappy power pack or kettle plug?
Waooooooooooo
HAMMOND IS JUST LIKE APPLE. THEY COME OUT WITH THE SK THEN SKX NOW SKX PRO SO ALL YOU THAT BOUGHT THOSE NOW NEED THE DOUBLE TIER AND WILL SPEND THE MONEY TO GET IT. JUST GET THE HAMMON XK 5 PRO SERIES OR A3 WITH A LESLIE 3300 ON WHEELS
Lots of keyboard players have no need for the lower manual.
Pauroso
Interested in the sound of the organ playing not talk.
