De ja vuis. #RichardMille Sapphire watches reminds me of the #Swatch transparency watches I bought as a 13 year old. Those #Swatch watches had excellent transparency and were less than $20. I wore them throughout high school and they honestly lasted.
You to can buy a watch that’s hundreds of thousands of dollars over priced… these scam artist want you to believe that machining sapphire cases is so ultra involved and extremely difficult process yet China is now mass producing them for a for less than a fraction of the cost.
"growing sapphire is infinitely slow...so after 2 weeks, sapphire is ready to be cut..." "tolerances are extremely tight...in the order of parts of 10microns" 10microns isn't a tight tolerance 😂😂😂
Get rid of the screws, take advantage of the transparency and just go for an optically clear co-refractive index powerful adhesive. The mechanism becomes centerpiece with less clutter. I know nothing about watches by the way.
i wonder how long untill the movements the gears start being made of sapphire?
you cannot cut sapphire in thin sheets for wheels...
Dang, these look amazing! What about the prices tho?
sky high...

If the growth rate is truly infinitely slow, then an infinite amount of time is required for it to grow. This can’t be true!
I did not invvestigate the details
exactly! I caught on to that too...mathematically it makes no sense. It's just a sales pitch, isn't it
