Be mindful that the bike already runs lean stock, and the cat delete leans it out even more. I did the same thing to mine and after 100km put it back to stock as it created a flat spot between 3-4k rpm that was really nasty. It's not good for the bike to lean it out even more. It really needs a tune, and that's why you're getting the popping
The poping comes from the injectors being cut off at decel. With this mod you keep the cat. This is a minor mod and the EFI will adjust for it. Now if you do an intake mod to go with it plus a slip on exhaust the. You would definitely need a tune. Mine don’t have any flat spots and it runs great. Just put 200 miles on it yesterday.
@@R.N.GPerformance hey go for it, don't say you weren't warned. This is a common topic amongst the clx 700 groups. Mechanics have weighed in on it and even say it needs a tune because the ECU will not self learn, but do what you like
@@Darkjazerant You're correct. The ECU will not self tune. I did this mod and I definitely need a tune. That flat spot is annoying as hell.

Tell me honestly I’m loading up my beloved 750 brute force to be apprised at a cf motto dealer I’m considering the cf1000 overlander I’m I gonna enjoy that machine it looks awesome but they want let you drive it I’m wondering how it will handle on the trails I trail ride and avoid mud but will ride threw a semi deep creek is the machine a good riding machine or will I say I this is a whale of a machine and sucks in the trails ??

I need suggestion for a replacement muffler to quiet down my Zforce 800. 105db ear muffs don't help, gonna try regular ear plugs, even tho they give me ear aches.

Don't bother getting one. There's neither instructions, nor required material, and to top it off it's overpriced for what it is.
Not sure why instructions are needed? And what is required? This is literally bolt on. Pretty simple and worth every penny. Sounds awesome and make the bike more responsive. I love mine. Do you even have one?
@@R.N.GPerformance Just got it today. There's no gasket that goes between the header and your pipe, the factory one is glued to the cat, so it can't be re-used. Without it there's a 1/8" gap around the pipe. There's no mention of needing the gasket, so instructions or a list of required parts would be an asset.
