I don't think his life will end up better. Remember he is living in the Great Depression Era, everyone loses jobs and the economy is kinda fucked up before the New Deal was proposed. He may live a hard life as a taxi driver as there will be fewer customers than before the Depression, though it is weird that Chap 1 of the story still allows him to carry 5 passengers... He might be lucky if he finds another job in one of those New Deal projects, or even become soldiers to fight those Germans and become a war hero; but if not, he might end up becoming an alcoholic and alone forever.
@Assassination Lifestyle - Well, it's not a matter of disrespect. Look at the difference between Tommy and Vito - Tommy (up until he decides to rob the bank with Paulie) did EVERYTHING right, obeyed Salieri to the letter, the only thing that got him was greed and Paulie getting in his ear. Vito on the other hand, dealt drugs, basically wiped the Empire Bay Tong starting a war between the Italians and Chinese, and yet was allowed to walk only with Leo Galante's word that Vito was capable of getting basically anything done (which is true. Vito managed to commit practically every possible crime he was asked to commit.). Vito was younger than Tommy when he started his life of crime, he had less wisdom and life experience than Tommy and had Joe in his ear always egging him on, usually against Vito's better judgment, so Vito's decisions weren't always the best, either for himself or Falcone. That's not to say Vito is any less of a good character or that I dislike him, it's the flaws that keep him interesting. It's just that Tommy was better at following the rules. Vito personified more of the audience's idea of a gangster, the money, the women, the power, and the story showed us the real downside that came with that lifestyle and Vito, Joe and Henry's methods

@@RaccoonCityPoliceDept Ok but there's new players all the time, one of my friends first played it a few months ago. At least write before the comment.
This game deserves an Oscar for its story and music, period. The music describes the life of Tommy itself, the beginning slow peaceful melody describes his cabbing days, mid intense melody when he joined Salieri crew and the intense action of the "Job", then slow end describes more of his betrayal and storytelling with Det. Norman
If I may offer some alternate insight; I think the first 45 seconds actually represents the very last scene in its entirety, from the moment Vito & Joe's bright red TBird enters the frame to Tommy's literal last moment; it captures that incredible feeling of losing someone and not being able to do anything about it. It's so melancholic and painful you can hear it clearly when it's played. It's more for our sake because we became so attached to Tommy. Then from 0:45 - 1:14 the music picks up as you say when Tommy's story begins. He joins the Family, starts making money and friends, meets Sarah, wins the big race etc; it's optimistic, hopeful, almost heavenly. 1:14 - 1:51 is when the life starts becoming dangerous, when the hits start getting sanctioned, when the mistakes are made, people are dying and the war starts. 1:51- 2:08 - obviously when it's time to take out Morello, the intensity and power of the instruments pretty much peaks here, denoting the huge risk the Salieris are taking by attempting to take out their rival. 2:08 - Morello's gone and it's the good times, everyone's making money, the Salieris have total domain over the city and they're powerful, but there's still a feeling of risk and danger (perhaps hesitance on Tommy's part? Considering he was more concerned about Sarah and his daughter at that point rather than the Family?) 2:37 is (I imagine) when Tommy finds Paulie dead in his apartment after the bank robbery, the death of Sam, when he first speaks to Detective Norman and when he testifies and goes to prison, ending with a fearful yet hopeful tone, when Tommy thinks he'll finally be out of "the life" and escape mob justice. Which, as we know both from the beginning of the music and how the story ends, is unfortunately untrue.

Tommy
everything i ve done both good and bad i done it for my family thats the best thing remake give us
This game is a masterpiece… it makes me re think about life and death, loyalty and family every time I listen to the theme of it. I’m serious. Plus. This game was so sad at the end and the history of Tommy is so sad too. Only betrayal. Only deaths. But he served the Don pretty well. He should have done this robbery.
Where do gangstas go when they die?
They don’t go to heaven where the angels fly
@@Kuleizy 👍I love use this song for mafia remake final song..best gangstas music ever😭
Lordz of Brooklyn - Lake of fire. The end song 😉
@@kristofhanzel1163 yes..best gangstas music ever
@@BardiXOfficial do you love this song?🔥
Playing this for the first time as thr definitive edition and I have to say it an absolute brilliant experience the character development, the story, graphics and soundtrack were just so good and that ending left me shaking. A masterpiece!
The only mafia game I haven't played the music is for sure foreshadowing that I won't be disappointed.
You won't be disappointed at all! The story for this game is a masterpiece!👍💯
can't wait to hear this on my TV
So excited to play this game. I heard it is coming to September 25. Thomas Angelo was right about thing. Balance. To keep things good in life
Sucks this beautiful theme isn't in the remake, only the first 10sec of it.
I don't know what you mean by 10 seconds. watched the game and its in the game prologue cutscene but not in the main menu.... ua-cam.com/video/ImHRkFZGndk/v-deo.html also its in the DLC soundtrack
It's in the game. Keep playing
Epic game epic sountracks epic actress epic atmosphere epic nostalgia❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The Rise of czech legend Mafia
I love this soundtrack and now even more after playing the game
I love this game and even tho I never expected to love the remake but I do.... I prefer the original but the remake is just great too.
Very great game.... Unmatched story until RDR2 and GTA5 happened.
Just finished it a 2 month ago and wow it was amazing and hereing this sad cause i remember the ending😞
This game really means a lot to me.................its a emotion for meeee
One of the best games of that time and the story line😙😙😙😙😙😙😙😙😙😚😚😚😚
I think it’s important to keep a balance in things. Yeah, balance, that’s the right word. Cause the guy who wants too much risks losing absolutely everything. Of course, the one who wants too little from life might not get anything at all.
-Thomas Angelo
F for remake. Best mafia. Best remake
I never played the first one, but once I heard that it was getting remade for this gen of gaming, I am so excited to finally get to play this and explore the city of Lost Haven in glorious 4k, the city that started it all.
You probably should play the original anyways, it has it's own charm
i completed the original today and tonight i played through the first 3 missions of the definitive edition and OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS GAME IS GREAT. THE INTRO IS AMAZING.
@@freedomgoddess That's great, not to spoil anything, but I think after you complete the game, you will unlock the film noir filter, which it lets you play the game in black and grey.
what do they call you son tommy sir tommy Angelo
This is up there with the resonant evil remake as one of the best remakes out there
I could listen to this until I die. Wow
First video to have more than 500 views lol.
made this since the announcement for mafia remake. And for nostalgia
Also listen to this wearing 🎧 for better sound and quality...
2.2k now lad
@@pinkerton_agent it's original theme song
This game is an emotion!
Those that have played this game before, I am sure that they will burst into tears upon hearing this theme in the main menu.
I did
Tommy became a rat
Vito became a renegade twice
Lincoln got betrayed by the mafia
Hey, that's rude. Paulie and me noticed that Salieri was exploiting us. But it's still a shame how things ended up.
@@artey6671 Frank was forced to become a witness because not only for the girl but you spared councilors son, it's a shame how everyone turned up tho and has a good climax,
@@mr.formal6723 I guess that's the tragic irony. But I'm still not a rat.
''He stood by you, you rat...''
Good enhancement btw!
Everything I’ve done, I’ve done for my family
They didnt forget about my childhood...🤧👏👏
my first mafia game was 3. my first halo game was 3. and my first god of war game was 3.
i also started playing video games when i was 3…WHY ALWAYS 3?????
Listen to Kollegah - Alphagenetik
i am the mafia don in rp but when i hear this theme i feel great and proud loving story and amazing game
"Mr Angelo?"
"...Yes."
"Mr. Sallieri sends his regards."
I prefer Tommy's reaction in this game. It shows how much he took stock of what Sam told him. Unlike the original where he sounds genuinely surprised he was found.
Who's excited for this because I'm a mafia fan
This song is simply awesome, enjoy it
👏" No Words .... Thanks to the whole team mafia 1 remake & 2... U beat it man...... What a conclusion
In czech language:
Tomy Angelo?
Uhm, Ano?
Pan Salieri posílá své pozdravy!!❤️❤️
I love this game
This is the Pinkerton Detective agency on behalf of Cornwall Kerosone and Tar seconded to the United States government and the well-being of people of West Elizabeth
My childhood!!😩
Such a dark classic ******* fantastic!
Family always comes first before killing
mafia had a much more mature story than almost any open-world crime game did
It is a linear game tho. They let you explore the city but you cant do anything with it
