    How do you deal with zbrush duplicating textures every time you duplicate a subtool to add a hair card?
    I am using 4k textures but it seems that it slows down after I create a couple hair cards since zbrush eats up all the RAM

      Yaa sometimes happens..
      .
      So just work with layers . Like when u create base layer.. and before going to sec. Layer of hair cards just merge all base layer cards with UV. And make one subset.. and then work with sec. Layer and so on..
      .
      .
      When you collect so many cards on tool bar. It get heavy.. so merge them and work on next ..
      .
      Keep you tool subsets small and clean and limited subset of cards
