Holy hell!!! $3500, as soon as I saw the thing I was like “that’d be in the Adler price range”. It’s like with the Warwick’s almost $4k for a straight pull AR-15 style rifle, then you look at say a SPRINGFIELD ARMORY ST916556BMA, which is a semi-auto 5.56 AR style rifle it’s $1800. Man, it really sucks living in Nannyville.. I mean Australia.
Ozzie, would be keen to see you do this same review for the Bushmeister BAX-12. Considering they're sub $1000 from Cleavers, and are almost an identical gun to this, it would be good to see you put it through its paces. Given the performance of this, I personally don't think the Turks had to try all that hard to match the quality of what the Frogs have produced, but would be good to see this proved/disproved in a review.
Thanks for ur honest review Ozzy! U always do the best reviews coz u tell us what we need to hear!! 🥰🐶 give Hank an extra pat from me please! Have a great Xmas and new year to u, Mrs Ozzie, and Hank 🎄🐶🥰
Have owned for six months. It cycles gb 1250fps,28grm loads faultlessly. No issues yet and have had great service from the importers when i needed extra length spacers.Currently running Carlson Cremator Mid Range choke and at 30 mtrs fantastic pattern using gamebore no.6 steel.Phil
I'd wager the popularity of these lever release, lever action, straight pull bolts is all compensation, as - sadly - the average Joe can't get his hands on a good pump or semi, so companies have to work out these ways to dance around the law and give us something technically legal
Of course compared to a semi-auto, all these lever release rifles like the Speedline, CZ515, Savage A22R, and so on, all come short of their Semi-auto counterparts. It’s a bit elitist to say “after using my Benelli” or “after shooting a semi-auto” or “after being used to shooting my AR.” The majority of people don’t have the privilege of having or being eligible for a CAT C or D. Everything in your reviews is great, but comparing a product to something the vast majority of us can’t get is not really fair.
I think I'll just stick with my Adler, I've put a slick kit in it and it cycles much smoother and faster than the veloce without any issues and hell you can cycle it with one finger that's how smooth it is.
I know someone that has one of these and has feeding problems where two shells exit the tube which causes the action to jam or drop a live shell on the ground. Also the rib has a bend in it. He's having it looked at by store and hopefully sending it back to the importer for rectification.
Hey OZ, love your work. Can I purchase that round hat that you’re wearing somewhere? Merry Christmas to you and your fam. Thanks for all your hard work 👍🙌
When my Grandfather ordered his matching Purdey shotguns he insisted that they be plain straight grained French Walnut, not figured. Figured grain may look pretty but it is by definition short grained and as a result, weak and unstable. Anyone who gets seduced by pretty stocks and fore ends beware. Your paying premium for inferior timber.
It looks like they've just bought this out with a left hand side lever for RH shooters. Could be a game changer assuming they have sorted the cracking? I put a Templeton T2k into the safe today.
I pick up a winmark side leava 28 inch Como in donnld Vic only 1350 not in wood new shot gun over the moon with it so far only firing 2/3.4 shells through it
I bought a Beretta shotgun new for $8k and the action actually seized closed after a box of ammo, Beretta has never seen anything like it before. Yep whatever, Needless to say I got a new firearm, But stuff happens just remember to update us on the outcome of the warranty.
Thanks for being honest, it matters! Would an owner of this be in trouble if the firing pin was rusted in place, making it an open bolt thumb trigger gun?
Hey Ozzie You need to review the new cz 600 rifle , looks interesting a few reviews on UA-cam. The action looks interesting it’s like a hybrid semi controlled round feed Thanks
@@azzajohnson2123 That's kinda an iffy one. Sure, it shouldn't happen. But in Verney's defence, wood can be an un predictable material to work with sometimes.
For quite a while this will be the only brand avaliable as they have a patent on the workings of the release and all other shotguns that were going to be coming in run foul of the patent so there are put on hold now for a few years id say if ever.
Forget the lever release For most guys that haven’t got a licence that allows semiautomatic firearms Can you do a few more reviews on 12Ga straight pulls I’ve seen you Adler reviews Can you do the Stoeger straight pull I have the tactical version - great gun Built like your Benelli
3D printing is your friend for Qld friendly materials anyway if you were buying one and fix up a better recoil system while you do that.... Havent found any other lever release yet myself as Browning Mural seems to have disappeared and an Australian project I only heard of has apparently been canned so what other lever release shotguns or rifles have you come across?
Who ever selected the timber for the stock did not know what he was doing ( mass production )seems way over priced to me, I also thought that they have been banned and just waiting for it to be gazetted
I'm in the U.S. so I'm not familiar with your laws. semi auto shotguns are pickey on what ammo they will run. At this point why wouldn't you just use a normal pump action. Seems very gimmicky.
semis and pump actions are banned except for a few allowances... so mostly only farmers and pro pest shooters can own them....and when a farmer can get one it can only be used on the farm its registered to so cannot be used anywhere else at all....
My brother had a Mirouku formed crack a month or so out of warranty, no help at all. Had only done a couple of hunts over that period. Disgusting. Don’t rely on warranty, buy known quality.
Well thats disappointing. For that amount of money you would expect better quality, and not being able to cycle lighter rounds is what you get with this style of action. Im not a fan of straight pull or lever release firearms at all.
This whole lever release on guns has got to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen or heard of and I have to deal with granny Canadian laws. Seems rather pointless may as well have a pump. More to break. And there’s nothing fast about that over priced shotgun other than how fast I would walk away from it.
Horrible !!! No real advantage with this action. Its not even semi auto. Also broke. Also expensive .......I hope the people who create this stick see this review.

4:57 Americans watching this be like “damn that semi auto shotgun jams a lot.”
No we just feel bad for y'all
Good honest review and no way I’d b paying that much for it.
Another down to earth review. I will stick to my Miroku mk70 sporter, knowing that it will function at all times.
$3,500 😦. Tell em their dreaming.
Yes!! They’re Dreaming !!

It fires about the same rate as a pump action so why are pump actions more heavily restricted, and why are pump rifles okay?

Hello, where can you get the slick kit for the Adler A100, thank you.
Lever action an it works great
I know someone that has one of these and has feeding problems where two shells exit the tube which causes the action to jam or drop a live shell on the ground. Also the rib has a bend in it. He's having it looked at by store and hopefully sending it back to the importer for rectification.
For that price shouldn't be any flaws like that.
Geeeeeez. That crack is a worry.. for $3.5k that's not acceptable. Maybe wait for the Bushmeister if it ever gets released...
Great review I'm glad I was sitting down when I heard the price
This is so fucking ridiculous. Can we just all fucking protest to get our semi autos back. I’m fucking sick of it
Hey OZ, love your work. Can I purchase that round hat that you’re wearing somewhere? Merry Christmas to you and your fam. Thanks for all your hard work 👍🙌
I’ll stick to my Adler b220
Good honest review 👏 👍
What the other guy said that is damn expensive for this shotty. Think ill go a double barrel instead
Great review mate thanks 👍

Another honest review. Thanks for sharing Ozzie.
For that price you can have a Benelli very hi end. That gun looks like a TriStar
Good review mate, could definitely get a nice ou for that price
Well just avoided a $3500 cliff. How good would it be if they started adding the thumb release to the Adler, Stoeger MS300, Sulun TAC12
A mate of mine experienced a fault also after minimal use!
It looks like they've just bought this out with a left hand side lever for RH shooters. Could be a game changer assuming they have sorted the cracking? I put a Templeton T2k into the safe today.
Thanks for that review. Thats alot of coin for that in my opinion.

Good review mate pity you have to put up the copyright sign though. Mainstream media 🙄
Thanks for being honest, it matters! Would an owner of this be in trouble if the firing pin was rusted in place, making it an open bolt thumb trigger gun?
This gun needs a synthetic stock my mate has one and his cracked as well he sent it back and got the synthetic stock hasnt let him down
What happens if you hold the leaver back while firing will it automatically close the bolt
Rubber band comes to mind if it does lol
Think i will wait and live in Hope of either winning Lotto or having Benelli m1 super 90 entry gun..
Pretty sure if you can get the Benelli M1 this gun wasn’t meant for you.
Hey Ozzie
You need to review the new cz 600 rifle , looks interesting a few reviews on UA-cam.
The action looks interesting it’s like a hybrid semi controlled round feed
Thanks
Have you got a video of what best range in meter,s is best to sight up a 22lr and 22mag 50/100/200? etc Cheers 🍻
Hi just I got sulun tac 12 and gun dealer said this year sulun gana make lever release as well. That will be great
And they make one of the 700 nitro double rifles, you think the breed would show better
Great review.
Love your videos!
Any chance of doing a review of the Bushmeister 12g?
Interesting to see which freebies they throw your way after that
Good lord that's expensive
What kinda interests me is exactly how the action on this would work.
Glorified gate latch I reckon. I'm thinking hard about a CZ 515 and I've seen someone put up a vid of detail strip & clean, might go check it out now.
@@elliottg5987 If I get my collectors I might buy the semi and lever release of the savage. Since they are cheap
I wonder how often that would happen, bet they would be spewing it happened on Australia's best review!
Maybe the synthetic stock version is the go...
it’s a £350 shotgun we get them in the uk obviously in semi auto 3 shot under the armsan name there an ok cheap turkish gun yours looks poorly made
But it says made in France?
@@sicktattoobro still a turkish gun probably modified in france verneu carron don’t make guns anymore

Awesome video!
French gun enough said
For $3500, you think they'd be able to make it cycle low power loads and the heavier ones too.
And not crack the front stock when using not even three inch cartridges..

@@matty8944 Personally I am looking forward to owning one, one day soon. I am sure the manufacturer will deal with returns if this were to happen.
Makes my Adler look pretty good
Ozzie what do you think is a better 12 gauge lever release
This is the only lever release shotgun I’ve reviewed so far so until I review another brand I can’t honestly give you an answer
For quite a while this will be the only brand avaliable as they have a patent on the workings of the release and all other shotguns that were going to be coming in run foul of the patent so there are put on hold now for a few years id say if ever.

Hey mate, what are the chances of getting a review on the Bushmeister BA-X12?

Can you do a few more reviews on 12Ga straight pulls
I’ve seen you Adler reviews
Can you do the Stoeger straight pull

Might as well bring back a pump action shot guns, this has now gotten ridiculous.
I wonder. Does anyone know if these are available in the US?
no 3 inch mag rounds ?? why not?

Is the bushmaster any better ?
Bonjour au revoir
Should have put a working man’s scope on it yano, $1000-3000 range, that would have stopped the crack.

Can I get this in Western Australia ?
🤠👍
What category are these in Queensland?
Cat B.
Russian stuff may be crude but it’s better than French stuff.
is there a law that u cant have semi auto over there? i dont see the point of this type of shotgun
Correct, almost impossible for regular people to get semi auto shotguns. Hence lever release and lever actions.
Well thats disappointing. For that amount of money you would expect better quality, and not being able to cycle lighter rounds is what you get with this style of action. Im not a fan of straight pull or lever release firearms at all.
Another over priced hunk of shit 🙈🤛🏿.... Merry Christmas 🎄 Bigguy, hope Santa is kind to you for 2021 👍
It looks like a $500 Turkish Shotgun.
It does look cheap i must say , looks like its stained pine 😂🤣 then the timber work cracks , thanks for the review they nearly got me
I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to modify into semiautomatic

Convert it to semi auto, be a man
