Cheers for the recommendation mate . Great video and put my mind at rest on my budget gear for starting. Thanks for taking your time to help us newbies and giving us a good insight

Great video hope me alot and reassured me on some things, I have only went fishing once when i was 10 or so, and ever since then i have wanted to go more, i am now 16 got my license and ready to start fishing with one of my best mates, who sadly will be joining the army after summer so at least we can fish together and have fun :)
Thank you for watching and taking your time to leave a comment. I'm really glad you enjoyed it and be sure to subscribe if you haven't already. Lots more on the way!
Thank you very much for watching and I'm delighted you took something from it. All the best on your future sessions and I hope you continue to watch future videos!
I've since had a look at a couple and no I wouldn't advise it personally. There is a lot of cheap rubbish in the sets, a rod pod that will rock about and snap by the looks of it, reels I wouldn't trust (so important to get good ones, (doesn't mean expensive ones), a bivvy that looks very cheap material and will have horrendous condensation. I could go on really and you know me from my videos I don't encourage spending a bomb on tackle but there are certain items where you need to focus on quality, some other bits where it's fine to go cheaper level is acceptable but it's important to get certain bits right. Drop me a message on insta if you can and I will talk you through it.
Hi Haydn, thank you for watching. Hard to answer that one but if I'm going through a dry spell then the answer for me is simply go back to basics. Look at your rigs and look at your bait. Are you trying rigs that you dont have confidence in? Are you using new bait? If yes to either one it may mean one or both dont suit the water you are on. Ultimately it could be as simple as being the lake you are on being poorly stocked, choosing the wrong pegs based on weather/conditions or a combination of all these things. Sometimes no matter what we do or what bait we choose they just aren't interested. So many variables come into it all but start off like I say with the basics and go from there. Please feel free to DM me on Instagram if you have an account and we can discuss in more detail.
I fully appreciate all the advice but as a beginner you named alot of things that I've got no idea what it is. Definitely would appreciate a more in depth about gear or some of the things you talked about
Thank you very much for watching Shaun. No problem at all, a more in depth overview is the plan for an upcoming video so do subscribe and you won't miss it 😊. You are always welcome to contact me on Instagram or email if you wish to discuss anything too.
