Thank you. I especially love the John 3:16 on the bag of coffee.
I love that Just A Dad is keeping it real and not editing out the whoopsie there. Given how many variables there is in a pressure espresso maker this seems like it would be a good option to get started especially for the price. I'd be interested in seeing what it comes out like.
barista here. that milk steaming was hard to watch and hear 😂
Sorry about that, I am always wanting to learn, how could I do it better, thanks!
@@JustADad i received this machine for Christmas and was watching your video to learn how to operate this. i’m a barista at a starbucks🤭. to best froth milk, you want to tilt the cup and raise the wand until you hear a mostly quiet muffled paper tearing sound, or tv static. do this about 7 seconds, this incorporates air into the milk, giving silky texture. after those seven seconds, lower it a little more, but it should never be loud or whistly, tilt the pitcher or move the wand in or out to find the sweet spot. steam until the pitcher is a little too hot to touch, but remember the temp of the milk is the temp of the drink entering your mouth! the objective is to tilt to get a whirlpool effect, no splashes, to stir the milk and heat evenly.hope this helps.
@@Itss_KodaBearyy_same here ! When I started working as a barista it was hard to be able to learn how to use it but it gets easier the more time you do it 😭🤌🏽
@@JustADadcheck a Lance Hedrick tutorial on how to steam milk! That really helped me achieve microfoam instead of dry foam and how not to overheat your milk
Thanks I was wondering why it was so loud returning it wasn’t that impressed by the overall machine, especially that loud steamer I tried a few times never had a machine make that much noise lol
Thank you for a detailed and thorough review. I had no idea what that little flap was for on the handle but now I know. I just bought my machine yesterday and I feel confident using it now. Thanks again!
Thank you, thank you for pronouncing "espresso" correctly!!! I worked for a major coffee chain for a couple of years, and you wouldn't believe how many people pronounce it with an "X".........."expresso". There's no "X" in the word, people.
😢
Technically that isn’t wrong either. Espresso is Italian for expressed
Thanks so much I purchased this at Walmart and didn't know how to use it i was gonna return it but i came across your video very detailed easy to follow and helpful.
Glad I could help
It sucks you have to unplug it after each use and release the pressure manually
Dropping the coffee was a very dad move.
In my machine, the wand doesn’t go all the way to the lock sign 😢 should I return it?
Thank you.. my brother gave me this exact machine (not sure where he purchased it but it didn’t come with directions) & I’ve NEVER made espresso at home .. this was an amazing tutorial
I have a brain injury and the manual confused me. Thanks for the video. I feel way more comfortable before my first use.
you got this!!!
Medium roast has nothing to do with the grind. Also, it isn't espresso if it isn't espresso grind.
We got this for my son at college. It’s not really making “espresso”. Regardless of how fine the grind is. It’s more like emulating it. Without that high pressure, it’s just a coffee machine. It makes no “crema”, again, due to no high pressure. Still if you use a fine grind espresso grind, you can get an OK espresso shot/s.
Nespresso makes a nicer shot but will cost more.
I've just purchased this machine and was watching your video before the initial use. You pretty much followed everything the instructions said, but you seem to be leaving the plastic wand cover on the frothing nozzle. Does it help with anything specific? It slides off to reveal the metallic wand underneath and I was wondering if it wouldn't work to steam milk better being in full contact with the metal directly.
Well at least that one didn't we bought one and we've tried three times there's no steam there's no pressure building up and somewhere in there later on on the instructions says take the cover off the frothing wand well that's the black you know thing and we took it off and it doesn't change anything
Great review! I also watched your Mr. Coffee review. If you had to choose between this one and Mr. Coffee, which one would you choose? I'm torn between the two. Thx!
this one seems a little better
looks just like the Mr. Coffee Espresso machine, no?
Jeesh, way too much trouble
Will it heat water to make ramen?
Thank you. I just saw it with 50% so I was thinking to buy it .
Thank you for the unboxing. You have a new follower
Awesome! Thank you!
Have you done a descale for the new keurig k cafe essential. It retails $99 at my local Walmart but was on sale for $69
yes that is a very nice machine.
Not espresso…It’s just strong coffee.
I just bought this same espresso machine. I bought some Lavazza fine ground coffee specifically for espresso use. The instruction book says to avoid fine ground coffee and use medium ground, but why is that? Every other video I have watched on using an espresso machine, they ground the beans to a fine grind. 🤔🙄
That just seems so messed up you gotta unplug the thing every time you use it.
Awesome video!
Great vid man
Always the best reviews
What tripod for your phone do you use to film your UA-cam videos.
I saw it on your TikTok live and absolutely loved it.
I got the same machine it stopped pumping water any idea how to fix it?
Do you know where I can get a replacement filter from
An espresso machine! Very nice 🙂
Yes, thanks
Is it like drip coffee? Or does it take like esspresso cuz the taste from drip an espresso is different
I got this, use fine grounds. It’s super strong. This is a good product
DO use fine? Hmm. Alright. I’ll give that a go. I got this machine recently and the manual said not to, to use medium grind
@@THEFINALHAZARDwas a fine grind good? I don't want to break it or waste coffee so I want a second opinion lol
@@fakename1474 I haven’t gotten ahold of any yet ironically. I’ll still have to see
The finished product looks SO amazing!
Just got mine, thanks for the video 👍🏻
Am I able to just get hot water for tea or instant noodles out of this machine?
Thank you so much! I was nervous to use this but you explained everything really well and I'm super thankful for this video! It was perfect!
I'm so glad!
I absolutely LOVE your videos! Thank you for what you do!
You're so welcome
You seemed very rushed in making this video.
I mean the video is already 20 minutes long
I just got this and used your directions to make a great Expresso. Your directions right on the money. Thank you for teaching me how to use.
You're welcome
Espresso

The persistent link is super annoying
The video was a bit annoying to watch…felt like you were doing too much and all over the place making it hard to concentrate. A little less explaining
Can you use instant coffee instead of ground?
Yes, should be fine!
I use Cafe Bustelo Espresso Ground Coffee it comes in a 10 oz brick-less expensive. Or in a 10 oz can.
