Idk why the devs are touching hog, if they have at least an Ana or zen they shut down an entire tank. That’s completely broken
They refuse to reduce discord and anti on tanks even though streamers have literally asked them why they won’t do it and they have no answer

I mean it's been super easy to get wins for me lately because of it people's only fallback is mauga and if you learn to fight him it becomes a breeze and with reapers buffs if you just pocket one a little he can mulch mauga solo

I always hear Cyx saying how good it is to get Checkpoint. Can someone tell me the importance of getting the checkpoint on a push map?
Alright so when you get the checkpoint your Spawn gets closer to the robot. So they have to win more fights when they're pushing the bot back. Makes it easier for your team

Im confused. Why does it say health reduced from 650 to 600, but in game its 750?
tanks get +150 more health in role queue

In role queue he had 800 hp one open queue he had 650
So he lost fifty health and now if you play in role lock he has 750

If you take 100 damage while taking a breather, the reduction goes from you receiving 50 damage to 60 damage. 60 is 20% more than 50

@@referee1044 mb mb, i misunderstood what he meant. he's referring to the ability by itself. i was thinking in terms of his literal health bar. like, out of his 100% health he's only taking 10% more than previously. he's absolutely right, the ability itself is overall 20% less effective.

He actually is waaaay worse off. Get blasted by DVA, Mauga easily now not swapping is a throw. DPS melt him and zen plus ana = GG.

As a doom main i feel like doom,hog,and ball should never be meta or overly oppressive where anybody can play them and get value. Hog was definitely a problem and he’s arguably still okay. If he can still counter what he’s supposed to counter he’s by no means nerfed to the ground. Speaking from a hard stuck gm3 players for the past few seasons though,don’t know how he plays in lower ranks but i’d imagine it’s even easier

Agreed nobody likes it when doomfist hog and ball are strong and it’s interesting because these 3 are also the selfish tanks in the game

Hog has been the most flexible tank, not particularly good at anything but has the best potential to pivot from one playstyle to another while the swaps are happening. By far the biggest factor is how coordinated are the teams playing.
I don't know about you, but counter swapping is also absolutely abysmal in my games. I'm not talking about strategic swapping, as a Doom main. I'm sure you know what your "I don't get to play comp" is. Lol
It's purely to screw you over, even if it makes no sense to use against the rest of your team or map. That is another reason I might consider swapping to hog.

I don't know how this nerf is going to fully affect him. I'm completely fine if he becomes more situational, I already treat him that way, but that may be because I much prefer Rein, Queen, or dva for dive. So I'm not instalocking him most matches. Hopefully my input was insightful.
