Following a transit zone, the teams arrived at the oasis town of San Ignacio, where they embarked on Super Special 2. This leg sent them westward, tracing the picturesque Pacific coastline and guiding them to the renowned surfers' paradise of San Juanico. But the challenges didn't stop there! Along the way, participants encountered two creeks, each presenting its own set of obstacles. The first crossing demanded careful maneuvering to avoid veering off the cliff and plunging into the water below. The technical skills of the drivers were put to the test. The second crossing required drivers to skillfully balance their vehicles on the ridge of a small waterfall, ensuring that only one foot remained on either the driver or passenger side. One wrong move, and the vehicle would be submerged in the water pools.
From La Purisma, the race continued its relentless journey, leading teams over a treacherous rocky and washed-out mountain pass. The rugged terrain added an extra layer of difficulty, putting the drivers' resilience to the ultimate test. Finally, the stage culminated as the participants reached Highway 1, marking the end of this grueling segment.
With the stage complete, a transit zone awaited the competitors, guiding them to the eagerly anticipated finish line in the captivating town of Loreto.
