I hope you will let us know if you have issues in the future. Would be nice to see a decent product for a homeowner type. I own 3 compressors, all different, all "inexpensive".
I've been using it for about 3 months. I haven't put too many hours on it though. I haven't framed a house with it or anything. So far so good. The only thing that feels cheap on it are those mufflers. Even if those failed, it would still physically work just as well. If it fails though I'll be sure to post about it.
So they only list a 1 HP 60L on the website but I'm assuming it's actually a 2 HP? Whats the CFM @ 90 & 40 PSI? They list it as 7.5 but that sounds insanely high and according to the exhaust volume it's only 5.8 CFM @ 90 PSI.
Every UA-cam vid for this air-compressor Vevor 'reached out' and provided a 'gifted' unit in exchange for 'honest feedback' If anyone can find a source of genuine reviews from verified buyers let me know.
I will say the pressure adjuster brings and I had to replace it with parts from harbor freight but still going strong otherwise. I know you're looking for an unbiased review and I know I have bias but thought the repair was worth noting.
This is one of those “They sent me this thing so I HAVE to review it” videos, it seems. Seems like a very “meh” compressor for more money than what you can get others for.
Unfortunately 2 months ago it jumped about $100. So when they sent it to me it was the cheapest one of the bunch with similar specs. I'd say put an alert on "Honey" or similar price tracker and see if it drops again
@@pauljacobsv3436 I almost bought one of the California Air Compressors recently and thought I’d get this instead. But then boom with those dolla signs.
I was in the same situation. I was looking at the California Air Tools then this one was so much cheaper so I decided to give it a try. At the old price point, this compressor is totally worth it. If it's the same as the California Air Tools now, then there's no benefit to this model over a proven winner.
Started looking at harbor freight, then the husky and kobalt, then saw CAT (California/Chicago air tools), then stealth... Then I was amazing by eagle, and now I realized the highest spec for our weak sauce 120v power are the 10 or 20 gallon hull power air compressors by EMAX. Apparently they have the best CFM at 8.4 for 40 psi. I guess they have a 70% duty cycle so you can use it a lot, but it's definitely not meant for continuous use. This is what I worry about with the vevor. It's at $350 price point right now while the hulk power and eagle (which out perform it) sit around $650+ right now. I guess they used to be $100-$200 cheaper a year ago... Nothing deserves a 50% price increase. Why do I want to buy stuff when they jack up the prices. With this product I'm worried about built quality. CAT and Eagle say they have a 3000 hour life between service meanwhile HP by EMAX is claiming 5000 hours, steel pistons, pure solid copper motor. They also claim 45 db but that sounds like marketing mumbojumbo since I can see it rated for 68 db too. That, or they are referring to the weaker 1 gallon compressors.
After I saw this I bought one. It works perfectly and is nice and quiet.
Awesome review, Will! Thank a bunch! 😊
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

How do you adjust the outlet pressure?
Thanks
Does the tank have a drain?
It does indeed. I think I hint at showing it, but it does for sure, yes.
Size motor please

Not so quiet.
It's pretty darn quiet in person. It didn't help that I had the small microphone pointed directly at the noise.
Bruh, not too cheap
