While the nests in my hands starve for rest.
Sticklers for cheap fun,
You oughta be ashamed to trade in your heirlooms,
For black market all day parades,
For a grand prize a slap in the face!
And for you-
Bold-faced type covers your text.
It must have been winter.
Still frame, no dice.
Where do you get your evidence?
Move now, stay still.
It takes a luminescent hue.
The wood, the crest that's weaved outside your vest.
Still frame, no dice.
Loons light the skyline,
While you sleep on concrete, with both your eyes open.
I just kept pullin' on both your feet,
Someday together we'll breathe, breathe. (Breathe!)
And for you-
Bold-faced type covers your text.
It must have been winter.
Still frame, no dice.
Where do you get your evidence?
Move now, stay still.
It takes a luminescent hue.
The wood, the crest that's weaved outside your vest.
Still frame, no dice.
Mountains of molehills.
While the townspeople gather to hear.
Mountains of molehills.
While the nests in my hands starve for rest.
Still.
Still frame, no dice.
Where do you get your evidence?
Move now, stay still.
It takes a luminescent hue.
The wood, the crest that's weaved outside your vest.
Still frame, no dice.
Wow I had never heard the original version of Dance of the Manatee before. I think the bass mixing is really great but man the vocal performance and even lead guitar sound is just not as clean and solid as the Fables version. Great nonetheless.
Can someone PLEASE make a loop of the beat at 6:10 sec.
When did they rerecord Dance of the Manatee. This is cool .
This is the original dance of the manatee
It's a must to know this and fables from a mayfly, what I tell you three time is true. It's both the same, but so different.
Abigail
Oddly enough, that's the only song I dislike out of every song they've ever recorded. My wife loves it, though.
o_o
Howwww?
the vocals on the other version of dance of the manatee are way stronger!
I like this version a lot better, maybe because it's what I heard first all those years ago. I still prefer it though.
Fucking legendary
Somebody link me the ISO to this please
Just found a PHYSICAL copy of this, and it says "For promotional use only"
Anyone have any idea if this is legit, rarer etc etc?
Come back to us FTM!
that's very rare. It's a promo version with a 04 group pic in the inside cover and is a different color.
@@damian7opez Theres no cover, its a sleeve'd disc. As far as I can tell, it might be a reproduction, because it gets *constantly relisted* on Discogs?
@@mtylerryan yeah that's what i meant a sleeve. Idk i never really thought abt the possibility it could be a reproduction. I think it's plausible someone had a few promo versions since they probably made hella of them way back then
How come some songs are repeating in this album and fables from a mayfly?
They rerecorded a few of the songs of this album for Fables.
I m p r o v e m e n t
Attempted improvement atleast
This was a self produced album. They re recorded songs for their album fables since it was on a label. More money for production
Why can't I get this CD?
This album was recorded before they were signed. I bought it at one of their shows when they were still a "local band". It got stolen however, so here I am:(
jeremy gaines I know, that was more out of frustration than curiosity.
Some people sell them on Amazon. I got my unopened for 50 or 60 bucks.
Blue Eyes See Red I eventually did find one for $20, but it was used and whoever had it before put tape, stickers and stamps on the cardboard case for some reason, so the case is in rough shape, but the CD itself is in great condition.
This album is actually from 2007.
This albums is actually the original version before they got signed on with Serj, The mayfly album had the majority of this album recorded and released in 2007...
@@Deadlyguyeli My CD says 2004
is this Darroh? he sounds different than he does in the pro-studio recorded stuff.
🤨
He sounds exactly the same...
he sounds better in this album than the later pro studio
@@charleslauricella156 I wouldn't go that far, but it's just as good. Really improved from carbon copy though that one was rough
Either version he still sounds like an angel.
This shit is worse than seeing them live. Shouldn’t have been released lol
Ok just let me get my fucking time machine.
If this hadn't been released we wouldn't have orphan anthem 86, Abigail, or granny niblo. So yes, we NEEDED this album
