@@theurbanhermit365 we did have a talk about maybe doing a reforger port for antistasi ultimate but we do not think it would be viable as reforger is a test game and our dev team is too small to start a project that will die fast due to lack of support from Bohimia
Ah, the joys of dealing with the rival insurgency. From what I have seen, these guys can effectively make undercover movement impossible. Pickups with HMGs tend to work well against the drones, though you can only fit a couple of guys in them (the gunner plus 1 passenger). Lately, I have been experimenting with trucks. The guys in the back can fire at the drones, which roughly gives you the same rate of fire as an HMG. Better yet, you can take a whole squad of 8 guys in the truck plus a loot crate, which is more than I expected to be honest. Trucks can also take "extra" loot crates (such as the ones you can find at outposts), although only 3 guys (plus you as the driver) can fit into the truck if you have both a loot crate and an "extra" crate loaded into it if my memory serves right. You may still be able to use undercover to scout the route you plan on taking for any roadblocks (it can be painful running headlong into one of those when you have a whole convoy on the move). Do note that the rivals can apparently remove your undercover though (albeit this seems to happen rarely), so using a UAV for recon might be a safer option. My guess is that they can also interfere with or outright shoot down the UAVs as well though, so that option is not without risks either, I suppose. Once you manage to hunt down that cell leader, I'd suggest doing a sweep of the area where he is. There should be a laptop lying around with valuable info. "Hacking" it can give you intel on another hideout. Alternatively, you may be able to steal some of their funds (I got 10k from one laptop, which is nothing to sneeze at). You may also find laptops at sites where there is no cell leader (such as when your job is to steal or destroy a cache), though they are not guaranteed to appear in those scenarios.
This is what I love about ArmA. It’s not like some generic campaign in which you heroically survive every damn scenario and dodge every damn bullet. You have good days, and you have dreadful days, just like in a real war.
...and you never know what you're going to get every time you play. Some days I start up thinking that I'm going to be planning a big attack on the next outpost and I end up just playing defense for the next 3 hours because the enemy is going haywire. I love it. I find I totally lose myself in the game while I'm playing, it becomes very immersive.

Like and good video.👍👍 Narrative role-play: Near the camp a group with a flag that seems from South-america leaves a crate with food and beer alongside a note that says: "My general wants to support you tactically the crate is a gift, i, leave you this ideas to help". 1- If you have the people's support a wave of infantry with 2 or 3 vehicles. 2- If you want professionalism caribines or snipers should help. 3- One of your buildings could be used as a bunker or secondary HQ.
I don't know what you started on with your settings but my version is way harder for some reason even when set to easy. Using the exact same team you have my first resource point taken was met with a counter attack of 3 Chinooks and 1 Osprey landing at the site full SF crews. Also I don't know why but every time I start my map board is lying on the ground side ways and Petros is always just about naked. Any idea how to fix the Petros cloths issue and the map board? Also quick tip; If you have the Inventory box in the pick up truck, you don't have to remove it to search the area for loot. Get up close to the tail gate and you should be able to search the area without taking it out of the truck. Happy Hunting
Nice, yeah I tend to carry it around 50m or so to get that extra loot. I started on vanilla settings, I didn’t changed anything when starting. Petros is always outside when i load in, I tend to move him back inside a house. As for the clothes I’m not sure I’ve had that issue for a few weeks now since the update. I’m assuming it’ll be resolved soon. Sometimes I get big counterattacks, other times I get a couple squads, maybe a heli drop off or paratroopers.
I am actually kind of upset with Arma 3 as I recently decided to come back to the game... Now I didn't have many hours in the game, like 750, but I have literally totally forgotten how to play and its looking like I am going to have to put another 100 hours in just to relearn how to play even before I can play... 🤪 I am not sure about the whole Antistasi thing... being a rebel faction type thing. Problem now is finding the 100 hours to relearn how to play. Hell, I don't even know how to use the Inventory anymore. Trying to just run through the VR infantry things and scenarios at the moment, and then there are the whole mod's thing that have totally changed new/old, works don't work stuff. I'll get there eventually. Thanks for the videos, they are helpful...👍
I'm glad you decided to jump back in, ill be honest i was in the same boat. I hadn't played for years then saw AU and thought why not jump back in. Yeah for sure a learning curve again but its worth it haha
Those drones can be a pain in ass. Do you use loadouts? Also those cell leaders can run away, I destroyed buildings in a small village, driving home I saw three guys and one of them was the target. Didn't know they can flee.
I use the rebel loadouts for the AI squad, that's the worst I've had it tbh, usually one strike and they bugger off haha. Okay that's good to know about the cell leaders. I ran into that sizeable squad and then looked around the entire area and didn't find a soul haha. I'll try again next episode see what happens.

Drones are lethal, sometimes you get more time. The helis are easier to avoid haha
