It's AI enemies, but I have 346 hours in Arma 3 and I've only seen a extremely small portion of the games potential. It is 100% worth buying, and the workshop has more MODs than most games I've seen on steam.

I downloaded this game for the first time yesterday and had no idea what I was doing even after the tutorial. This group of 4 people walked up to me and literally spent a whole hour and a half teaching me simple controls and how to do stuff and what to do 😂. It was great. You'd never meet people like that in any other game.
We need to ask Gebeba if it's illegal to lock one singular guy with a multi million dollar rocket launcher shooting a rocket with the price equivalent of 6 houses, 3 cars and a husky....or 2 guys student debt.

Yep that's how the new antistasi is. My unit is now stuck in a 2 month stalemate with almost no movement. We control the whole western side of Altis, while the western side is about 50/50 AFRF/US Army. We're trying to bomb and sabotage their resources, but that proves to be difficult apparently. And they have actually zero chill, especially the US despite being the smallest force: 5 chinooks, 2 little birds, 3 apaches, 2 C130, and several M113s, to take one tiny outpost. They failed though, and we killed around 150 of them, the rest ran away or were captured. Pretty sure some A10s and F22s showed up too, we kinda lost the overview.
I'm probably not the only one when I say it but I love the fact that you provide us with the highest possible resolution for viewing through UA-cam upload downgrade. It really makes these engagements so much more exciting and involved. Especially when being able to enjoy night ops without having to fumble my own way through the battlefield.
0:05 you said that wrong. "Antistasi" means resistance in Greek (Αντίσταση) and to read it correctly you have to add tone to the first synthetic and also read like "Adistasi".
for sure it has been commented before but Antistasi means Resistance in Greek, and the whole map setting is very similar to that of a Greek Aegean island.. thanks for the nice content Drew!

This is what ive wanted from a milsim game good teamwork, communication, fun gameplay, Large Battles! fighting towards an end goal. And the main thing...having a laugh while doing it, i can do realistic battle chatter but i cant play a game with people that have to be serious the whole time no laughs. Shame i cant afford a pc ill just have to hope they start releasing games like this on console soon Great vids dude! 😁
When your vic gets hit and you get throw out automatically it means it got red hulled and is about to explode, so you wanna get away from it if you get thrown out.

I always have loved antistasi (plus), I used to play with a small group 4-5 people it was amazing to play we beat every map available at the time (about 6months ago we stopped playing), I hope ArmA4 has a gamemode like it.
My first hour of Arma 3 was full scale milsim + advanced ACE that my friend invited me to play on his Antistasi server. It was long time ago and I miss it. Over 20 players playing everyday.
Fun fact: recently deep sea oil and gas reservoirs have been found in the Eastern Mediterranean and Turkey and Greece are actually flexing at each other over control over tiny, uninhabited islands in order to control the territorial waters around these islands and such control the gas and oil drilling areas. So really this scenario isn't too unrealistic at all. If you wanna do really good RP you could say that Altis is contested because there is a major oil reservoir 5 miles offshore and it would work.
What a brilliant mini series, and gamemode! A3 never disappoints, with it's visuals and audio! And of course the people involved throughout the series. Would love to some day be a part of something like this but Family and Work often gets in the way of being able to dedicate time to being online. Also anxieties of open mic chat with others always seems scary imho. Love the content though! Now binge watching more A3 videos on the channel, and re-installing A3 post haste!
