I think Rose is stunning 😍 I don’t have any other dolls that are like Rose. She’s special. All of my other dolls are 18 inch dolls. I do have a video that shows all of my American Girl dolls. Maybe I should do another video with my OG dolls. I also have two Journey Girls and my one Adora doll. I’m glad you enjoyed seeing my Rose collection.😊

I was doing research on my Rose doll & happened upon your video, although be it a wee bit late. I will tell you that I purchased the doll, trunk & all of the outfits that were released. The last dress is definitely not one of the official dresses, but, as some commenters said, it's very possible that someone made it so they could have the 'arguing over breakfast' dress. I, unfortunately could not afford to get the dresser & still can't afford it. But, I also added a life jacket that someone was selling on ebay, and I printed off a few other pieces for Jack's portfolio. I'm very happy that your husband was able to replace yours. I have many, many dolls & toys, but, this one is my favorite. Every so often I can open up the trunk & change her outfit. That makes me really happy. Thank you for your video, I loved it!

I love titanic so much. That last dress reminds me of the dress Rose wore when Ross and Cal fought when Cal had flipped over the table and Rose tried to help Trudy clean up. I’m not 100% sure that’s what it is, but the flowers on the dress make it look like it is.
Titanic is definitely an iconic movie. I can see where you would get the idea that the last dress is from scene you suggested. The dress from that scene is actually the one to the right when I first show the dresses that are hanging in the trunk. The last one remains a mystery. I’ve searched the internet high and low and have come to the conclusion that the last dress doesn’t go with Rose at all. It must either go with another doll or is a homemade dress. I tend to think it goes with another doll. The dress is beautiful so I’m happy to have it no matter what doll it goes with 😀

I think that’s a good guess. Honestly, I struggle with identifying it. It looks similar to the dress in the movie, but isn’t as close a rendering as the other Franklin Mint outfits. This leads me to believe it’s either for a different doll, made by a different company or homemade. It’s hard to say. Thanks for watching and for sharing 😊

We both agreed on possibly Scarlett O' Hara. Finally, I took the position of Andrey. All we knew was that trunk held something good.

Wow all the dresses are so beautiful! You should really make some videos of you putting on some of the outfits. I also have the doll but only one outfit, the black and red gown ensemble also known as the jump dress. The pearl earrings you didn’t know which dress came with actually go with the swim dress and the earrings you thought went with the swim dress actually go with the breakfast dress. The yellow dress with the flowers looks like it is from the scene where cal has a fit and knocks the table over while having tea
I can see where you would get the idea that the yellow dress is from that scene, however the dress hanging on the right side of the trunk that you see when I open it belongs to that scene. While making this video I scoured the internet and even watched the movie before posting it,looking for the dress, but to no avail. I hope to discover where it came from one day. I’ve often thought that it may be part of a different collection all together and not even have anything to do with Rose. I hope you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching 💕
@@agitssocute so I have done some research on google reverse image search and it is like the dress doesn’t even exist so I would say someone wanted to get rid of the dress and just threw it in there so it is not for the titanic doll. Also I actually really enjoyed the review and it really helps bc I’m getting the doll and this helps in case I need any replacements I know what the pieces go to that way I can get replacements when needed. Thank you.

I don't know if the last dress has been identified but there was a deleted scene with a VERY similar dress, but also I think it could be possibly the dress we see rose in on the balcony when jack sees her for the first time? but it seems to be missing a red sash? or the one where she is on the promenade deck with jack showing his art?

This is beautiful where did you find her.
Originally, she came from the Franklin Mint. We downsized years later and we sold her. Then my husband purchased her online in the secondary market. She’s no longer available through the Franklin Mint, but I have seen her for sale online. Thanks so much for watching 😊

This is what dreams are made of! I wanted this doll so badly as a little girl. I loved Titanic then and still do! I had to make do with a redheaded Barbie I named Rose. It was so great seeing your collection! Did they ever make the yellow dress (the deck dress Rose is wearing as she looks at Jack’s sketches) and the green tea dress (the dress she’s wearing when Jack sees her for the first time from afar)? I love both of those.
Awww that’s so sweet. 💕 You can still find her and her clothing on EBay, Mercari, etc. (although most of them are pretty expensive, they cost a lot more than when they were first released) Yes! They did make the yellow dress Rose wore on the deck with Jack. 😊 He taught her to spit while she was wearing that dress, too.😂 They also made the green tea dress😊 I love that one, too!

She is a 16 inch doll. The scale for that seems to be under debate. Some say 1:3 scale 16 inch dolls to 20 inch dolls, others say 3/4 scale, still others say 1/4 scale.

How much is it worth?
The prices are all over the place. I’ve seen the doll for $69.00 on Mercari to as much as $2,200 on EBay, depending on condition. The clothes are all different price ranges, too. For this collection I think the range could be anywhere from $700.00 to $1,000.00 with the trunk. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
The dress u couldn't find is when rose meets the owners of titanic at brunch in the movie
I’ve had other viewers say that, too. 😊 I’ve looked for the dress everywhere I can think to look. When viewing the brunch dress from the movie, the dress I have looks a little off. I really think that it’s a homemade dress and not from the Franklin Mint collection. Yes, you can 😊 Honestly, I wish her hair hadn’t been taken down, but I still think it looks okay. It’s definitely not as pretty as if it had not been taken down. That said, I just like my collectibles to stay their original condition as much as possible. I think that’s just a personal preference. Thanks for watching 😊

@@kristinazubic9669 I haven’t ever taken her hair down even though I can tell that this doll’s hair has been previously taken down, so I don’t know what it looks like down. This doll was used, I had a Rose that was brand new many years ago and her hair was perfect. It also seemed to me that it was done in a way that made me think it shouldn’t be taken down. I hope that makes sense. Ultimately, I think it’s a personal preference. I’m just a stickler for keeping things as close to their original condition as possible. I hope this is helpful 😊
