- Todays video is the last part of the hay operation, so far we have seen mowing, tedding and now its time for bailing. Using the JXU 105 and new Holland 376 small square baler. A lovely day for the job with not to many problems!

Hi all, I’ve noticed there is quite a few mid roll adverts being placed in my last few videos without me knowing, apologise for that I shall try and sort it out later 👍🏼
We had a 376 for 30 years, we reckoned it baled about a million!! Marvellous machine.
I would check the knotter knives. Also be careful when driving downhill that u the tractor doesn't overspeed the 540rpm on the pto. The 376 can take a big row so if u get banana bales u could go up a gear. The grooves on the counter wheel may be worn out so may need replacing. Good video thanks.
The square baling at home used to be done with a NH 278, but that was a long time ago. The box for the twine was flat enough to sit on it unlike that 376. Smashing video, keep up the good work- loving your videos
They’re aren’t bad balers really! Cheers mate glad you’re enjoying the videos 😁
We have a MF 124 conventional Baler and they are one of the best made u can realy push on with it.We also had to wait 2 weeks to get ours cuz of rain.Good video love seeing this stuff on yt.
Cheers glad you enjoyed 😁 the weather has been a big pain this year!
Great video Liam 👍🏻
Cheers mate 👍🏼😁
Reminds me of farm simulator 19 with all those bales on the hedge 😂
If it was farming simulator I wouldn’t of had enough slots for all the bales 😂😂
Good work bud there is just something about small square baleing or conventional baleing its the noise i think or the slow push pull on the tractor .haha or my be i like older school farming lol nice to see you have had some nice days again its winter time in victoria austrailia at the mo we have had some rain and cold days nothing like the uk winters though bud mmm o i remember them but over 30 years liveing in oz you do climatise to the weather .my rellos still live in cumbria and when i chat with them they tell me about the rain this summer eney way bud great vid once again be safe out there catcha on the next vid all the best from brit man in austrailia
Cheers mate hope you’re keep well and safe yourself 👍🏼😁
@@casefarms3096 yep all good mate tar
Think you may need a sledge 🛷 🤣 good video 👌
Cheers 😁 we have got a sledge, I don’t think it would have worked due to the contours of the ground 😅
Great video!!.. as u said in the tedding video, it would be pointless using the sled because of the hills . Bet your glad your not the one lifting them 🤣🤣
Cheers 😁 very glad I didn’t have to lug! Sledge wouldn’t have worked with the contours of the ground I don’t think 👍🏼
👍👌🇨🇦❤, gr8 video, advertising is ok, I would say the 376 is a bit older than you are, I believe they were made from around 1978 to 1981, what are you using for bale pickup?
Cheers 😁 I didn’t have to lug them thankfully, usually would drag a flat 8 around and load them onto trailer with flat 8 loader 👍🏻
I like a good john deere bailer better. Lots of problems had with the 376, but it was rather worn out compared to jd.
I rekon you've had your value out the front tractor tires!!
Almost 7000 hours on them, not to bad considering 6000 of them were mainly loader work ! Still a few hours in them yet though 😉😂
Great video liam, is that a david brown coming through the gate at 2.45 mins?
Cheers mate, no I was a big claas xerion, was cultivating in the field next door, he’ll of a size !
Shame is got so much rain on it since it was cut, list it's colour.
Tis a shame as it was some very nice stuff to start with ! 😩
Y did use spend money on a rake if the haybod can do the same job then
The rake was for the silage really, is just a bonus for going into the hay 👍🏼
@@casefarms3096 I never use a rake just the haybod 4 the hay and silage
Song name?
Song is called coming home, niwel & altero👍🏼
That looks like some shit hay😬
Some parts were better then others, rain ruined it slightly 😩
@@casefarms3096 yeah we also got some bales like that. Rakeman had a broken rake and was waiting for a new one.
