Yes a few super junior members were in a serious car accident maybe a year or two (?) after debut. Heechul had to have metal rods put in his legs, don't know if he ever had them removed, so he can't dance for long with the rest of the members because of the pain that still occurs. When he does dance it's normally towards the end of the song. He can't do difficult coreo with his members. He thought about quitting because he felt he would be holding them back and didn't want to be pitied, but his members (Super Junior) asked him to stay.
