  • On May 3rd, 2014, DSB Museumstog - the Danish Railway Museum's operative branch - ran three trains between Næstved and Vordingborg (and back). The first and last round trip was pulled by the steam locomotive DSB S 736, and I followed the steam train most of the day, picking my favorite spots along the line.
This is my first attempt at shooting video of trains, and while I have been on numerous photo excursions through the years, shooting video is very different from taking still photos.
Thus - consider it an exercise, and I apologize in advance for the wind noise in the mic.

Store ændringer er sket i Næstved og sydpå siden denne fine filmoptagelse. Jeg troede at vi også skulle se toget i Vordingborg hvor der er ombygget virkelig meget siden 2014. (Mest i 2019 er der sket meget i Vo)

Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it. I travelled DSB extensively in September-October, and it was very efficient. I thought the National Railway Museum at Odense was a standout attraction, and extremely well done. Is the Næstved - Vordingborg line near Odense?

SteamPower4ever Thanks for that. I have found it on the map. I will have to visit that line if I go to Denmark again. However a lot of the attractions do not operate after August, and that will limit my ability to see it. There are also steam runs near Randers, Jutland, and perhaps Grenaa, Jutland. But again there seems to be a limited season. Anyway, thanks again.
The DSB are certainly progressive. Imagine a tunnel to Germany!
