Wipe down with a light oil. Keep chalk in your tool drawers to keep the moisture content to a minimum. Instead of chalk, there's a wax (I forgot the name of it) that will do the same thing as the chalk, but last longer.
Would like to know how a mechanic can dissolve rust from nuts and bolts so they can replace parts on vehicles from rust prone areas. Is there such a mixture?
They're probably all new tools and they sprayed them with some acidic liquid and let them sit to rust them. Other youtubers do that as well to test rust removers.

Does the Rust-Oleum Rust Dissolver have a smell to it? I have used Bar Keepers Friend Cleanser and the smell of it is unpleasant.

The saw was the only tool with actual rust! Ain't no way that store spray going to make that chrome look brand new!

Maybe if you would have wiped it instead of brushing it maybe that would have been better
