I think people can like you - heck, even love you! - but be horrible at displaying that affection, BUT THATS THEIR PROBLEM. We should not take them as projects and stick around, feeling emotionally malnourished and miserable, until they learn how to love. That’s their own responsibility. If someone sux at loving, it’s on them to fix it. What is the use of being loved by someone who is incompetent at showing it? I guess what I mean is: Love is NOT enough. If there is no action, no actual effort, it doesn’t worth your time and energy. There are plenty of people that matches us and that would cherish us profoundly. I think “they don’t love u” can also be a delusional excuse for insensitive and overall trashy behavior from a partner. I tried to do that once, and he wouldn't let me have the peace of walking past without acknowledging him. He wasn't sorry for dumping me. Stopped me to ask how I am! I got dumped abruptly by phone after not seeing him for weeks (said he was sick) but he would bring up girls that were calling him but didn't like it when I questioned why he did that.. It wasn't about me or wanting to speak to me. His ego just couldn't take me walking by and not acknowledging him. I warned him before, if we broke up, I don't want to speak to an ex if it was a bad break up or done cruelly.
I do that but I fantasize about our eyes meeting and the look of regret on his face that he lost me. I also imagine I have the same look of hesitation on my face before I collect myself and walk off.

What I’ve been doing is just retell our story to me and notice all the things I’ve missed or chose not to look to - had a “why” for most, but not for all, and surely I was making myself feel guilty for not noticing the big good things too… Thank you! It took me also exactly six weeks to get over that story, but now, looking back at it, the only plausible explanation is it was that chemical reaction. Once the "drug" wore off, I don't even understand what I found in the guy. Needless to say, I don't want him back ever, even if somebody offered me a million dollars😂

When we were just starting to date, my now spouse would already be making plans for the next date 5 minutes after he picked me up for the present date. Writing down how you feel about a person is cool in all but the best way to learn is from experience and making multiple mistakes or by focusing on other things besides dating because we are slaves to our habits until eventually we grow out of them through experience or we develop new habits to replace old ones like exploring your options instead of settling for a specific type of person, you may also learn more about yourself doing this! You have to find yourself before you can find someone else.
The perspective you gave about getting married before and after 30s was something I've never thought of before. In general, and technically, what you said tends to be true and instead of seeing late marriage as failure, we should actually think about this issue. The social pressure gets to everyone but nothing is worse than feeling lonely in a marriage forced by social pressure. Plus, I believe the new 30s to be the old 20s.
I do agree, but I also think it takes two people to communicate effectively. Sometimes people hold back because they might not think you’re that interested in them. Don’t give up so quickly. Make sure you’re communicating your feelings openly to them, and if they still disregard you after you’ve shown an interest clearly to them, then you’ll know it’s time to walk away.

As a guy, I saw a lot of my own flaws watching this video especially with communication but sometimes I just want time to myself for like 2 or 3 hours and I know I should just communicate better but I think its difficult to me to tell her id rather watch a movie right now than talk to her. There is nothing called too much interest. If you know what you want then your interests will automatically align with right person. If you dont know what you want, you still want to show the level of interest you would like to show (whatever that is) so that you weed out the people who dont reciprocate. It might take a while to meet someone this way but atleast you wont start/break off multiple times with wrong people. On the other hand, if you are lucky you will meet the right person sooner.
And that's always going to be true contrary to what women say because this is how we are biologically wired. We're simply not attracted to desperate men and honestly men aren't attracted to desperate women either. It comes down to building your self worth and loving yourself enough so that in return it teaches people to love and value you the same if not more.

Writing down how you feel about a person is cool in all but the best way to learn is from experience and making multiple mistakes or by focusing on other things besides dating because we are slaves to our habits until eventually we grow out of them through experience or we develop new habits to replace old ones like exploring your options instead of settling for a specific type of person, you may also learn more about yourself doing this! You have to find yourself before you can find someone else.
The perspective you gave about getting married before and after 30s was something I've never thought of before. In general, and technically, what you said tends to be true and instead of seeing late marriage as failure, we should actually think about this issue. The social pressure gets to everyone but nothing is worse than feeling lonely in a marriage forced by social pressure. Plus, I believe the new 30s to be the old 20s.
I do agree, but I also think it takes two people to communicate effectively. Sometimes people hold back because they might not think you’re that interested in them. Don’t give up so quickly. Make sure you’re communicating your feelings openly to them, and if they still disregard you after you’ve shown an interest clearly to them, then you’ll know it’s time to walk away.

As a guy, I saw a lot of my own flaws watching this video especially with communication but sometimes I just want time to myself for like 2 or 3 hours and I know I should just communicate better but I think its difficult to me to tell her id rather watch a movie right now than talk to her. There is nothing called too much interest. If you know what you want then your interests will automatically align with right person.
If you dont know what you want, you still want to show the level of interest you would like to show (whatever that is) so that you weed out the people who dont reciprocate. It might take a while to meet someone this way but atleast you wont start/break off multiple times with wrong people. On the other hand, if you are lucky you will meet the right person sooner.
And that's always going to be true contrary to what women say because this is how we are biologically wired. We're simply not attracted to desperate men and honestly men aren't attracted to desperate women either. It comes down to building your self worth and loving yourself enough so that in return it teaches people to love and value you the same if not more.
