Very Nice Build ! Beautiful paint work, The car is actually a 210 Sedan not a Bel Air, It doesn't have the long fin chrome on top of the quarter panels, It has the short ones, Also you should have Chrome Vs on the hood and Trunk Lid as does a 210 model, The Bel Air would have the Gold Vs and Gold lettering and Gold grille, And the three Gold hash louvers on each fenders, plus the model is missing the upper Chrome that runs along the roof on a Bel-Air sedan just has the lower piece.
This must be a newer version. The kits from Revell in the 70s were much different. The frame had the floorboards in one piece and the seats were mounted to the floor as in the real car. The doors opened. They made a 55, 56,57, as well as a 57 Nomad. The 56 was a two door sedan like this one, the others were hardtops. I built several of these. Not the easiest build but a beautiful model once together.
I built that kit back in the early 70's as a kid but did not turn out as nice😅 Back then we did not have the current modern tools only glue and Testers paint, still loved building and displaying them though.
@@pmb2442 I had already seen it, but it is not clear to me how many coats you give of 2K, if the first lightest one, then minutes of waiting and heavier coats. From the video at increased speed it looks like a single coat with multiple passes. Thank you.
Very nice build great video.
Great result on this 57 Chevy. I like the color and interior work. Nice job man 💥👍💥
Thanks!
That 57 came out absolutely beautiful. Excellent video!
Tanks !!
Absolutely beautiful! The '57 Bel Air has always been my dream car.
Thanks 👍🏻
Great looking build. I like your window trim method, it looks far less tedious than masking it all off like I've been doing
Thank you ! Yes, I try something different every time to make things easier. And still get a nice end result
It's a beauty, nice paint, nice clean assembly, thanks for taking us along!
Thanks!

Yes, that's right, this is a new model. Thanks for your response
What are those little daubers that you use ? Great video's !!!
That is glue on a stick with a small piece of cotton wool on it that you can use to clean your airbrush. :-)
What did you use to hold your parts while airbrushing? Also, did you airbrush or brush paint the engine bay and what color did you use?

Haha yes a lot changes in that time.
Nice job. Gave you a sub
Thanks!
Nice clean build out of box.. just curious why use a silver marker the trim when BMF looks more better?
Thank you ! Yes, I didn't have anything else lying around, so I did it with the marker and had to do some work that looked good and I was done.
how long did you need to wait for the chrome paint to dry before spraying lacquer clear?
1 hour
Wow what a result with 2K! You don't wear thinner or do you? And what airbrush and how many coats for 2k? So far I'm getting orange peel :(
Thank you.

@@lucamicalicapparelli4825 I usually give 2 coats which is more than enough with this 2k
