Hey Matt I think you ought to remake the “so you think you can squat” videos from elite fts those videos were what taught me how to squat and now I have a 865 squat in comp in gear in less than two years of competing. Very helpful for me

@@user-zb3lr3ke4f my first equipped meet was in single ply and squatted a easy 740 then did my first multiply meet 6 months later and hit 865 I missed my opener if I hadn’t I think I would of gotten 900 at that meet. My best raw squat is 685 I did in the gym about a year into competing. But I’ve been lifting since I was like 11 years old.

I can confirm that the squat style change didn't happen over night for me. It took me 2 and a half years to become posterior dominant but it's a well worth long-term investment!

My old squat cues were based on starting strength where Rip has people looking down and rounding their back. I kept wondering why I was constantly doing a squat morning pattern. These cues have helped me so much in fact the first time I used these cues I managed to pause squat what my previous squat PR was and I'm feeling it much less in my lower back and much less on my core and way more in my legs.
