Google has apparently changed its interface. It is now called "Create Label". In addition, when you create a new Label, the screen configuration is different. So populating the list "can" be a challenge.
That works if you have the people in your contacts. I want to make a group for club members. Most of them are not my friends and I don’t want them as contacts. . I suppose I could add them as contacts but then my address book will be cluttered up with 50 people that I only ever forward club information to.

How can I get on Gmail that looks like his tutorial? Mine is through Cable Co. and doesn't look like this. It would be so easy to do what he's doing, but can't get on square one with what I have. HELP!

If it’s anything like Thunderbird. All you do is type the name of the group. Say for instance your group is called “Soccer”. Once you have “Soccer” in the address box you can select BCC before you send the email.

No, only when you directly send the group a message. They are note notified when you create the group.

i had that problem and found that if i clicked on "go to the old version" then you have the same screen as he is showing. You've probably already figured that out but just in case you haven't.
Go back to old version
