Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled you enjoyed the video and found the tests helpful. It means a lot to know the effort I put into these tests is making a difference. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see tested!
This this was freakin awesome! I just wish there was someone that could do one of these videos for work from home parents and show if they can cancel out kids screaming 😂 also I REALLY wish your video had the prices of these mics. Other than that you did an AMAZING job!! You just gained a new subscriber 😊
Hi MotoMOMsta! Appreciate your positive feedback! I test headsets in multiple environments and with various background noises. I do have some with recorded baby crying in the background however, I do plan on testing headsets in a daycare with real children in the background so please stay tuned. In the meantime check out this Headset Mic Tests video playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLOmK3KI8aDaVR64fuVXeMl4_AkNuJbMtE.html
If it is not too much trouble, can please you recommend the top 5 best headsets that passed your type tests? Like, NO typing sounds? I work with clients all day over the computer and I type to take notes at the same time and I really want absolutely NO typing sounds. Thank you! I enjoy how thorough your videos are.
Thank you so much for your feedback and request, goahntherapy! One of the reasons I started including Teams and Zoom recordings in my tests is because their AI Noise Suppression adds an extra layer of noise cancellation, based on my experience. While some headset mics perform well on their own, combining them with Teams Voice Isolation or Zoom Personalized Audio Isolation can make a noticeable difference. Out of curiosity, which voice or video platforms do you primarily use? Most headset mics will pick up some initial background noise, and the noise-canceling technology will do its best to suppress it. I've noticed that some mics excel at canceling noise when you're not speaking, though you might hear faint background sounds when you start talking. Your comment has inspired me to create a headset mic vs. keyboard typing comparison video without any additional noise suppression. Based on my previous tests, headsets like the EPOS Impact 1000, 800, and 700 series, the Jabra Evolve2 55 series, the HP Poly Voyager Focus 2, and the Yealink WH64 and BH70 models should perform well. Thanks again for watching and supporting the channel! Stay tuned for more!
As far as stand alone noise cancellation of your wireless mics, I'd say the Coolpo surprisingly. I heard background noise w/ every wireless headset in the first test except for that one.
Yes, the CoolPo had an impressive mic and price. The challenge, based on my experience: Difficult to set up and use, and it was not very comfortable. I shared this feedback with CoolPo. They are new to the headset landscape. Pioneers like HP Poly and Jabra have a greater understanding of end-users' needs. Price alone should not be the deciding factor. Here's a blog I wrote sharing 6 things to consider when it comes to selecting a headset: calloneinc.com/beyond-the-headset-key-considerations-for-businesses-when-choosing-communication-solutions/ 1. Support and Warranty 2. Service and Management 3. Research & Development and Innovation 4. Compatibility with Collaboration Tools 5. Total Cost of Ownership 6. Environmental Impact and Sustainability
Great video! I really like the EPOS Impact 860T but the CoolPo Ignite for the price is a steal. Would love to know how these headsets perform for listening to music when not using them for meetings.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video! The EPOS Impact 860T is definitely a strong choice for meetings, and the CoolPo Ignite does offer impressive value for the price. Based on my experience testing these and other headsets, especially those with ANC speakers and a music equalizer, the headsets that include these features usually provide the best experience for music playback. If you’re looking for a headset that balances great meeting performance with quality music listening. The Jabra Evolve2 series, and EPOS Impact models all sound great while listening to music based on my preferences.
Hi JAQZEETEE! Thanks for watching and supporting our channel. I have tested several earbuds and based on my tests, I don't recommend earbuds for voice calls in noisy environments. Headsets with a boom mic perform better. Here is a video playlist of Wireless Earbuds ua-cam.com/play/PLOmK3KI8aDaWOddrfcf5ZlHeJZ_vijTrO.html And here are some more headset mic tests from coffee shops: ua-cam.com/play/PLOmK3KI8aDaUmxxkeqe_JfBQWIoVPa4YT.html
The EPOS Impact 860 sounds amazing....rich and powerful! 🙌 Watching you test the Poly 4320 reminds me of the Poly 8225, which is also one of my personal faves. 🎧✨
This is the perfect review video for those of us who work in busy coffee shops!! Question - is there any sound quality difference in general when it comes to wired or wireless headphones? For the Epos impact 860T ANC, would you lose quality by not going with the wired model and opt for the bluetooth instead?
Hi S Haider! Thanks for watching and supporting our channel! Headset microphone technology has come a long way. These days, DECT, Bluetooth, and corded microphones are comparable. I have four videos where I test multiple headsets from coffee shops, including corded headsets. Check out this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLOmK3KI8aDaUmxxkeqe_JfBQWIoVPa4YT.html Based on my tests in multiple environments, the EPOS Impact 1000 Bluetooth headset models performed very well. You can also use the EPOS Impact 1000 as a corded audio device. You certainly wouldn't lose mic performance with the EPOS Impact 860T ANC, so it comes down to your use case and personal preferences. I appreciate the connectivity flexibility provided by Bluetooth headsets. They allow me to connect/pair with my laptop and mobile phone. I can stream audiobooks, podcasts, or music from my mobile phone when not in calls or video meetings. I hope this helps. Please feel free to ask more questions!
Thanks so much for the response! I may opt for the Epos Impact 1000 and see how it goes. My biggest concern is always spending money and still ending up on calls in loud environments with my boss saying "can't hear you, too much background noise etc"...thanks again :)
Hi, I really like the Epos Impact 1061T ANC, wireless with very good microphone but Im searching for some headphones without the visible microphone. Could you recommend something similar in quality (good mic, good ANC and wireless)?
Thank you for watching, supporting our channel and your question. The HP Poly Voyager Surround 80/85 models have decent NC mics for being boomless. Here’s an extreme mic test ua-cam.com/users/shortshYx9sUu45XE?si=SxBLyOTc5b_lTkDA
Appreciate your feedback, StephP! I have this UA-cam Shorts video testing a headset via live, real-world Google Meet meeting. ua-cam.com/users/shortsXCehly13Ydc The majority of our Enterprise clients use Microsoft Teams and Zoom. I'll try and include more tests with Google Meet. Appreciate you watching and supporting our channel!
Hi, can you please say which isolates the most noise for your ears in that coffee shop? I need isolation for my ears in work callings next to a building construction.. thanks! Most reviews if not all, talk about what the person in the other side hears but not what you hear when wearing the tested headphones and headsets..
I responded to your other comment as well: Great question! The challenge with this request is that what I hear through the speakers may differ from what others hear due to multiple factors. However, I have attempted to showcase this in the past, including this video: How well do the ANC Speakers perform on Yealink BH76? ua-cam.com/video/fXEnIn9b7_A/v-deo.html On my list of videos to film is taking this setup into a coffee shop, airport terminal, hotel lobby, and other common remote working spaces to test the ANC speaker's performance. Based on my tests, they all perform pretty comparable. The headphones designed specifically for ANC, like Sony and Bose, perform better, but you can still hear voices if you are not streaming audio. Here’s a blog I wrote recently on this subject: calloneinc.com/understanding-anc-technology-in-professional-grade-headsets-jabra-poly-yealink-epos-and-logitech/ Thanks for watching and supporting our channel!
I work with a client who has meetings on webex ugh. Anyone know if webex has the background noise blocking technology? Because my takeaway from this is that the headset doesnt matter. Voice isolation in the meeting app being turned on matters much more. Unless I misunderstood. I would love to walk on my walking treadmill during these meetings (and frequently have to unmute and make short remarks). Any thoughts appreciated.
Webex actually has quite robust noise-canceling and voice isolation features under its Smart Audio settings, which could be really helpful for your situation. With Webex, you can choose different audio modes depending on your environment and needs: Noise Removal (default): This setting removes all noise from your side, ideal for when you’re in a particularly noisy place. Optimize for My Voice: This blocks out all background noise and background voices, focusing solely on your voice. Perfect for situations like walking on a treadmill where you'd want only your remarks to come through. Optimize for All Voices: This setting removes noise but enhances all voices, which is great for meetings in conference rooms. Music Mode: This preserves audio quality for music, useful if you're broadcasting or sharing music during calls. Webex also has HD Voice for external callers to enhance audio quality from other callers, especially useful if they're in a noisy environment or on lower-quality networks. While Webex’s noise suppression is excellent, pairing it with a good noise-canceling headset can make a difference if you’re in very loud environments. But yes, for most people, Webex’s built-in voice isolation modes do a lot of the heavy lifting for background noise. Try "Optimize for My Voice" for your treadmill setup and see how it works!
Thank you so much for watching and supporting our channel! Appreciate your feedback. Check out these other headset mic test videos! ua-cam.com/play/PLOmK3KI8aDaVR64fuVXeMl4_AkNuJbMtE.html
Thanks for watching and sharing this feedback. Can you elaborate on the BH70 dongle issues? What specifically is happening? Have you downloaded Yealink USB Connect and ensured the software and firmware for the dongle and headset are up to date? I agree the Impact 1000, especially, can be a bit heavy. I shared this with EPOS when they challenged my blog on the most comfortable UC Bluetooth headsets and why they were omitted. calloneinc.com/top-5-most-comfortable-uc-bluetooth-headsets/ While they do have the best-performing NC mic I have tested, the EPOS Impact is not as comfortable as the Yealink BH70, Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex, and the others I listed. Appreciate you watching and supporting our channel!
Thank you great video one thing I worry about is when people here me breath loudly I do speak a lot and make sure to pause but I get heavy breathing when using headsets the Blue Yeti Mic has been really good with the boom filter whenever I am speaking as it does not get my breathing and no background noise even when there is a lawnmower going on full speed outside my window and I have loud air fans on as well and no noise. I did notice in your examples all the headsets did get the loud breathing noise whenever you would pause except of course for the last ones 😂
Hi LaxLyfters! Thank you for supporting our channel and sharing your experience with the Blue Yeti Mic. I have one of those and went through a phase where I used it as my microphone. I test so many audio devices, and I am constantly cycling through them. But yep, apparently I'm a heavy breather! 😁
Hi great video! Is EPOS Impact 860T ANC also good for not hearing anything as the one wearing them? I do online hypnosis and really want no noise around to be heard and same for me I don't wanna be distracted :)
Yes! The EPOS Impact 860T ANC is the corded version of the EPOS Impact 1061T ANC. Both have strong performing NC microphones and have ANC speakers. Here’s a blog I wrote about ANC speakers to help set expectations calloneinc.com/understanding-anc-technology-in-professional-grade-headsets-jabra-poly-yealink-epos-and-logitech/
Based on all my tests, the EPOS Impact 860T performs better. However, the EPOS Impact 760T is good as well. The key differences are that the 800 Series has ANC speaker options, and the controls are on the headset, while the 700 Series doesn’t have an ANC option, and the controls are on the cable.
Hi Halit! I'm curious about your work environment. I have used the Yealink BH70 in coffee shops, hotel lobbies, and open offices and I didn't experience challenges "hearing." How noisy is it where you are using the headset?
@@CallOneInc I receive work phone calls from hospitals with lower quality audio equipment on the other side with multiple people talking to one phone, so I need to hear to the bone to be able to help.
Ohhh! The Logitech Zone Wireless 2 provides Advanced Call Clarity feature that improves the audio quality of the incoming call so that you can hear them better. Check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/HuEqs2uEQJU/v-deo.html The Zone Wireless 2 also have good ANC speakers and decent NC mic.
Hi William, I have an original Orosound Tilde Pro, and I broke the speaker trying to change the ear cushion. I don't know if that will impact the overall performance so I haven't included it. I'll see if Orosound or my buddies at Headset Advisor can send me another one.
can you do noise canceling adaptors? Like the Sound Blaster X G6 or Sabrent AU-MMSA like items? I don't like the headset bc they squish my ears and they hurt after a while and I want them wired.
I appreciate your request. I focus primarily on professional-grade audio solutions such as headsets, speakerphones, webcams, and video conferencing devices optimized for platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. I'm unfamiliar with solutions like Sound Blaster X G6 or Sabrent AU-MMSA. I hope some have reviewed those solutions and shared them online. Appreciate you watching and supporting our channel and wish you luck on your quest!
Thanks again for your videos - they are always extremely helpful in my search for the perfect homeoffice, travelling, openoffice environment. As my beloved Plantronics 8200 is failing more often - aren't there any good Overear Headphones with Boom arm? My search for UC certified models only show the Yealink BH76 Plus, which didn't perform well in a testing scenario in our office (multiple people in same meeting) and the Evolve2 85 which I'm hesitant to buy, because I was clearly not happy with the evolve2 75 (sold them again) and my current Evolve2 Buds (lousy microphone ANC and bad sound - both compared to consumer headset Huawei Freebuds Pro).
Thank you so much for your feedback! I understand how frustrating it can be to find the right headset, especially when you're using it across different environments like home offices, traveling, and open offices. It sounds like you’re after an over-ear headset with a boom arm and solid UC certification. I agree that options are somewhat limited in this category. It's unfortunate that the Yealink BH76 Plus didn’t work well in your office environment, and I understand your hesitation with the Evolve2 85 after your experience with the Evolve2 75 and the Evolve2 Buds. Have you explored the new HP Poly Voyager Surround 80 and 85 UC series? www.hp.com/us-en/shop/mdp/hybrid-work/poly-voyager-surround-80-uc-series- They are the replacement models to the Poly Voyager 8200. Here's an overview and demo video that includes mic and wireless range tests ua-cam.com/video/MXVQ-lgxi8Q/v-deo.html However I have also tested them on a noisy boat and they performed surprisingly well ua-cam.com/video/ONBqWZM4UR0/v-deo.html
Yes! The majority of these headsets are certified for Microsoft Teams and UC platforms including Zoom, Google Meet, and Webex. And yes, Webex has their version of noise suppression that can be enabled.
As always, a fantastic real word review that is very relevant to the Hybrid worker. This cafe setting is perfect understanding the MIC performance. I'm trying to balance out Mic performance with ANC to block out noise from the surrounding environment for my own ears. I have a Bose 700/Shokz Opencom 2 which are great for home but aren't suited for a cafe use case. The Bose has a great Mic and ANC but doesn't do well in loud environments. The Opencomm has a great Mic but obviously leaves my ears exposed to the cafe environment. In order of importance; 1) Mic quality and noise reduction 2) ANC noise cancelling c) Quality of music; which of the headsets would you recommend? Without influencing your view, it seems the EPOS 1000 / JabraEvole2 55 (not tested here, but seem to perform very well, maybe because they're the newest from Jabra?) / PolyFocus2, all do well.. but I'm not sure about their ANC or Fidelity with music. The Jabra Evolve 65 Flex was built for this purpose, however mic quality doesn't seem to be on par with the earlier mentioned models. The EPOS 100 seems very impressive. Thanks in advance!
Hi Arif! Thank you for sharing your feedback! I have tested other headsets in coffee shops. Check out the original: ua-cam.com/video/en7eUYCYBTY/v-deo.html In this video I test: 00:07 - Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex 00:51 - EPOS Impact 1000 01:24 - Yealink BH72 01:48 - Shokz OpenComm2 UC 02:25 - Jabra Evolve2 Buds 02:52 - Logitech Zone True Wireless Earbuds 03:06 - Poly Voyager Free 60+ UC 03:21 - Yealink BH71 03:40 - Poly Voyager 5200 UC 04:00 - JPL Element BT-500D 04:20 - Poly Voyager Focus 2 04:40 - Jabra Engage 55 I thought I had included the Evovle2 55 but I'll have to add that to my list for the next Coffee Shop Headset Mic test video! Based on my other tests with the Evolve2 55, it's also a strong performing mic. My top picks for best NC mic performance in multiple environments from UC headsets include: - EPOS Impact 1000 (ANC speaker options available), 800 and 700 Series - Jabra Evolve2 55 (ANC speakers) - Poly Voyager Focus 2 (ANC speakers), Voyager 5200 - Yealink WH64, BH70 - Logitech Zone Wireless 2 (ANC speakers) I agree with your assessment of the Shokz Opencomm2 UC. Excellent mic however, in really noisy environments, it can be challenging to hear. Shokz recommends using ear plugs.
@@CallOneInc great response! The headsets I've shortlisted are the Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex, Epos Impact 1061 ANC and Jabra Evolve2 55. Which of the three sound best musically? Which has the strongest ANC ranked? It would be great if your review's could someone apply a number/metric for us to weigh the differences and apply our own weighting to determine which headset works best based on our own unique use case. As always, love your work!
@@rifraf170 I'm no audiophile, but all three of these sound great when listening to music. The Jabra Sound+ Mobile app provides a Music Equalizer so you can customize it to your preferences. While all three offer ANC speakers, they aren't as strong as Sony or Bose. However, they are noticeable and a great feature to help suppress the background noise around you. I have thought about a numeric ranking system but have refrained. Sound and comfort are subjective and based on personal preferences and hearing capabilities. While some standard use cases and work environments exist, our customers and community from this channel have shown people use them in various spaces. I may rank a headset a 4 out of 5 for use in an open office. Does that rank hold true if used on an airplane? I hope that makes sense. I prefer to demonstrate how these perform in various environments, allowing viewers to decide which is best for them.

Hi dhruvin desai! I had not heard of the Belkin SoundForm Adapt Wireless Over-The-Ear Headphones. Our channel focuses on professional grade headsets certified for leading UC platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex and Google Meet. I'll see if I can get my hands on a set of these.
I echo thanks for this! I am a mindfulness-based psychotherapist, so need lots of focus for both me and my clients and Zoom and Teams do not meet privacy requirements for my profession. I work from my condo home and there is lots of sound conduction from other units. My neighbor upstairs has been kind enough to refrain from vacuuming while I sleep, but likes to vacuum during my work day, so I am looking for noise cancellation both on the speaker and the mic of these, which do you recommend for that? Thank you!
Hi, Amy! Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your unique situation! It sounds like you need a headset that provides exceptional noise cancellation for both the microphone and speakers to maintain focus and privacy during your sessions. Based on your needs, here are some excellent options to consider: EPOS Impact 1060 ANC/1061 ANC/1060T ANC/1061T ANC - These headsets are designed with advanced noise-canceling microphones and active noise cancellation (ANC) in the speakers, ensuring that both you and your clients can focus without distractions from surrounding sounds. The "T" variants are certified for Microsoft Teams and include a dedicated Teams button. The 1061 variants include a wireless charging stand. Jabra Evolve2 55 - Lightweight and comfortable, this headset offers excellent ANC for the speakers and a great microphone with noise-canceling capabilities. It’s a solid choice for long sessions, combining clarity and comfort. The Evolve2 55 are available with or without a foldable charging stand. Poly Voyager Focus 2 - This model is a favorite for professionals who work in noisy environments. It features advanced ANC in the speakers and a microphone that minimizes background noise effectively. The comfort level is also top-notch for extended use. Each of these headsets is designed for professional environments, providing high-quality audio for both you and your clients. If possible, I’d recommend testing one to ensure it fits your personal comfort preferences and meets your specific requirements. Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions or need further assistance. Best of luck finding the perfect solution, and thank you again for watching!
Hi I just bought mine. Is there any way I can improve noise cancellation for Epos 860T ANC for windows? Work from home set up. I do have my toddler with me all the time and still can hear her on the background. LOL any suggestion?
Hi Maria, thank you for watching and supporting our channel! When you say "noise cancellation," are you referring to the background noise you hear or what the people on the other end of the line hear? While the 860T ANC has Active Noise Canceling speakers, one thing to keep in mind about ANC in headsets is that it’s designed primarily to reduce consistent, low-frequency sounds (like fans or AC noise) rather than dynamic sounds, such as voices or sudden noises. That means, while ANC can help reduce some background noise, it won’t completely block out higher-pitched sounds like human voices-so it’s totally normal to still hear your toddler a bit in the background! If you are referring to the Noise Canceling mic and use software like Microsoft Teams or Zoom, you can enable their built-in noise suppression features. For example, you can turn on Voice Isolation in Teams, and in Zoom, you can enable Personalized Audio Isolation. These can help further reduce background noise. You can also optimize your environment by adding soft materials around your workspace. Carpets, curtains, or even some foam panels can help dampen sounds in your room, which may reduce the amount of sound the headset picks up. And lastly, position your microphone closer to your mouth. This can help it pick up your voice more directly while minimizing background noise. I hope this information helps.
Hi Danny. About the Logitech Zone 305, does it isolate external noise and lets you hear your conversation? If so, how well does it perform in that aspect? Thanks!
I am surprise how poor those expensive microphones (quality wise) perform. It is important that that we sound clear and loud to the other people in the meeting. What is the limitation that stops company from attaching high quality mics? Thanks for the video
Hi Jean! Thank you for watching the video and sharing your thoughts! I’m glad you found it valuable-helping people and businesses make more informed purchasing decisions is a primary reason I create this content. It’s also an opportunity to highlight that brands design devices to support a broad range of users and use cases. While some headsets may not excel in noisy environments like a busy coffee shop, they can perform exceptionally well in quieter settings like a home office, hotel room, focus room, or phone booth. As for your question about microphone limitations, there are a few key factors at play: Design Trade-offs: Headsets balance several features, including size, weight, comfort, and battery life. Adding larger or higher-grade microphones can impact these aspects, potentially making the device bulkier or less comfortable for all-day wear. Use Case Optimization: Manufacturers often design microphones for specific environments. Some are tailored to prioritize background noise suppression, while others focus on maximizing natural voice quality in quieter settings. Technology Constraints: Noise-canceling technology relies on software algorithms and microphone placement to block background sounds. In extremely noisy environments, filtering all noise while maintaining voice clarity can be challenging. Cost Considerations: Higher-quality microphones often have increased costs, which could put them out of the price range for many consumers or businesses. I completely agree with your point about the importance of sounding clear and loud during meetings, and I appreciate your feedback! Insights like yours help drive conversations about what matters most in professional-grade audio devices. Thanks again for watching, and feel free to share any other thoughts or questions! 😊
Thanks for supporting our channel and sharing your feedback! Yes, the Poly Voyager Focus 2 is a solid performer and one of my top five most comfortable headsets!
Coolpo Ignite did really, really well for the price. To my ears, EPOS IMPACT 760T was the best, even better than 840T. 840T had more artefacts, 760T was more natural
Hi Martin! Thank you for sharing your feedback! Yes, for the price, the CoolPo Ignite performed well. The new EPOS Impact 700 and 800 series have been performing very well!
Hi Carlos! Thanks for reaching out. I'll need more information about your use case. What are you connecting the headset to (desk phone, computer, mobile device, or a combination)? What environment/s are you working in? What is the priority? Listening (speakers), Transmitting audio (microphone), both? The challenge is there is NO perfect headset. Headsets without headbands limit your options even further. For example, the HP Poly Voyager 5200 UC, Yealink BH71, and Shokz Opencomm2 UC are all headsets that don't touch your scalp and have strong performing noise-canceling microphones, but they do not have ANC (active noise canceling) speakers. These headsets may make it hard to hear in noisy environments. I will go back to your use case and the priority, understanding there is no perfect headset.
@@carlosjesus6348 I wish ther was a perfect headset but there isn't. A headset with ANC speakers will help suppress the background noise you hear, and a noise-canceling (NC) mic will suppress the background noise the party you are calling/meeting with will hear. Headphone style headsets like the Jabra Evolve2 85, Poly Voyager Surround 80 and EPOS Adapt 660 have strong ANC speakers but their microphones aren't as good as the EPOS Impact 1000 model. These have pretty good mix of ANC speakers and NC mics: - EPOS Impact 1000 with ANC models - Jabra Evolve2 50 (corded) and Evolve2 55 (wireless) series - HP Poly Voyager Focus 2 - Logitech Zone Wireless 2
Personally I loved the Epos impact 760t! I just ordered because of this video. I work from home and have spent sooo much money on headsets and none have worked for me. On the current assignment I am on they are very strict about background noise so I am excited to test them out 😊
Awesome, Paul! Thanks so much watching and sharing your feedback! It means a lot and inspires me to keep making these videos! Appreciate you supporting our channel!
Hi G Y! I have not had an opportunity to test the Anker PowerConf H700. I have been so busy with a few other new headsets and video conferencing solutions that are coming at some point from other brands. Hopefully Anker will reach out to me.
Thanks for your comment! This is exactly why we create these types of videos-to help people and businesses make more informed purchasing decisions. While the more expensive models often excel in certain areas, these comparison tests reveal that lower-cost models can sometimes perform even better in specific situations, like noise cancellation in a busy coffee shop. Our goal is to highlight the strengths and trade-offs of each headset, so you can find the right fit for your needs and budget. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
Thanks for sharing! In the enterprise space, Microsoft Teams and Zoom dominate. They are the two most prominently used meeting platforms. While I use Google Meet, it's primarily with SMBs. I would love to learn what industry you are in and whether you use a headset, USB speakerphone, or built-in computer microphone and speakers when using Google Meet. I love learning about individual use cases!
I ensured that all the headset software and firmware were updated prior to testing. And yes, it was not the best. The Jabra Evolve2 85 performed best in Teams meeting with Voice Isolation turned on and mic boom arm down. And yes, the Logitech Zone 305 mic has been performing well.

@@CallOneInc I'm also trying to find the best headset for keyboard and ceiling fan noise suppression. When will you upload the comparison video?
As far as stand alone noise cancellation of your wireless mics, I'd say the Coolpo surprisingly. I heard background noise w/ every wireless headset in the first test except for that one.
Yes, the CoolPo had an impressive mic and price. The challenge, based on my experience: Difficult to set up and use, and it was not very comfortable. I shared this feedback with CoolPo. They are new to the headset landscape. Pioneers like HP Poly and Jabra have a greater understanding of end-users' needs. Price alone should not be the deciding factor. Here's a blog I wrote sharing 6 things to consider when it comes to selecting a headset: calloneinc.com/beyond-the-headset-key-considerations-for-businesses-when-choosing-communication-solutions/
1. Support and Warranty
2. Service and Management
3. Research & Development and Innovation
4. Compatibility with Collaboration Tools
5. Total Cost of Ownership
Very informative--Thank you!
You're welcome! I hope it helps you make the right decision. Thank you for watching and supporting our channel!
Thank you so much for this. This is my issue with using my buds i am always not heard this is sooo helpful
Hi JAQZEETEE! Thanks for watching and supporting our channel. I have tested several earbuds and based on my tests, I don't recommend earbuds for voice calls in noisy environments. Headsets with a boom mic perform better. Here is a video playlist of Wireless Earbuds ua-cam.com/play/PLOmK3KI8aDaWOddrfcf5ZlHeJZ_vijTrO.html
And here are some more headset mic tests from coffee shops: ua-cam.com/play/PLOmK3KI8aDaUmxxkeqe_JfBQWIoVPa4YT.html
Great, thank you Danny :) I have EPOS 1000 and it's indeed really good... But what I surprising me, it was old, good, Poly 4320 😊
Thanks, Maikeru! The Poly Voyager 4320 did perform well.
The EPOS Impact 860 sounds amazing....rich and powerful! 🙌
Watching you test the Poly 4320 reminds me of the Poly 8225, which is also one of my personal faves. 🎧✨
Thanks for supporting our channel! And yes, in this comparison, the EPOS Impact 860T, I feel performed best.
Check out this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLOmK3KI8aDaUmxxkeqe_JfBQWIoVPa4YT.html
Based on my tests in multiple environments, the EPOS Impact 1000 Bluetooth headset models performed very well.

Hi, can you please say which isolates the most noise for your ears in that coffee shop? I need isolation for my ears in work callings next to a building construction.. thanks! Most reviews if not all, talk about what the person in the other side hears but not what you hear when wearing the tested headphones and headsets..
I responded to your other comment as well: Great question! The challenge with this request is that what I hear through the speakers may differ from what others hear due to multiple factors. However, I have attempted to showcase this in the past, including this video: How well do the ANC Speakers perform on Yealink BH76?
ua-cam.com/video/fXEnIn9b7_A/v-deo.html
On my list of videos to film is taking this setup into a coffee shop, airport terminal, hotel lobby, and other common remote working spaces to test the ANC speaker's performance.
Based on my tests, they all perform pretty comparable. The headphones designed specifically for ANC, like Sony and Bose, perform better, but you can still hear voices if you are not streaming audio. Here’s a blog I wrote recently on this subject: calloneinc.com/understanding-anc-technology-in-professional-grade-headsets-jabra-poly-yealink-epos-and-logitech/

With Webex, you can choose different audio modes depending on your environment and needs:
Noise Removal (default): This setting removes all noise from your side, ideal for when you’re in a particularly noisy place.
Amazing reviews!

Bh70 has dongle issues, the impact 860 and 1000 are great but the pads on the crown of the head dig into my head and leave dents
I shared this with EPOS when they challenged my blog on the most comfortable UC Bluetooth headsets and why they were omitted. calloneinc.com/top-5-most-comfortable-uc-bluetooth-headsets/
While they do have the best-performing NC mic I have tested, the EPOS Impact is not as comfortable as the Yealink BH70, Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex, and the others I listed.
@@CallOneInc thank you!
What was your preference ? EPOS Impact 760T or 860T. When listening again it almost seems to me 760T sounds more clear.
Yealink BH70 mic noise cancellation is supreme but it is difficult to hear without speaker noise cancellation.
Check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/HuEqs2uEQJU/v-deo.html
The Zone Wireless 2 also have good ANC speakers and decent NC mic.
Awesome content, please add the Orosound Tilde Pro to your list of headsets.

Great video. Voice isolation for both Teams and Zoom is causing some of the audio to get muffled. Lately I had this turned off
Hi Berd! Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Appreciate you supporting our channel!
would this still work just as good for WebEx meetings/calls?
Check out the original: ua-cam.com/video/en7eUYCYBTY/v-deo.html
In this video I test:
00:07 - Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex

03:40 - Poly Voyager 5200 UC
04:00 - JPL Element BT-500D
04:20 - Poly Voyager Focus 2
04:40 - Jabra Engage 55
I thought I had included the Evovle2 55 but I'll have to add that to my list for the next Coffee Shop Headset Mic test video! Based on my other tests with the Evolve2 55, it's also a strong performing mic. My top picks for best NC mic performance in multiple environments from UC headsets include:
- EPOS Impact 1000 (ANC speaker options available), 800 and 700 Series
- Jabra Evolve2 55 (ANC speakers)
- Poly Voyager Focus 2 (ANC speakers), Voyager 5200
- Yealink WH64, BH70
- Logitech Zone Wireless 2 (ANC speakers)
I agree with your assessment of the Shokz Opencomm2 UC.
I prefer to demonstrate how these perform in various environments, allowing viewers to decide which is best for them.

can you please do Belkin Soundform Adapt.. they are super affordable but no reviews around.

Based on your needs, here are some excellent options to consider:
EPOS Impact 1060 ANC/1061 ANC/1060T ANC/1061T ANC - These headsets are designed with advanced noise-canceling microphones and active noise cancellation (ANC) in the speakers, ensuring that both you and your clients can focus without distractions from surrounding sounds.
@@CallOneInc Hi thank you so much for your response. Really appreciate it. I'll try this info on my next meetings. Thank you.
Hi Danny. About the Logitech Zone 305, does it isolate external noise and lets you hear your conversation? If so, how well does it perform in that aspect? Thanks!
Hi GamuzaMF! The Logitech Zone 305 does not have ANC (Active Noise Canceling) speakers. I hope this helps.
As for your question about microphone limitations, there are a few key factors at play:
Design Trade-offs: Headsets balance several features, including size, weight, comfort, and battery life.
I saw the same coffee shop one year ago, Poly voyager focus 2 did better than 4320

Hi Danny.
@Call On, Inc.
What's the best headset with mic, noise reduction and canceling, for work without touching the scalp in 2024?
Thank you
@@CallOneInc Computer. I teach Portuguese online at home.
@@carlosjesus6348 is your home relatively quiet or noisy? What is the source of noise?
@@CallOneInc Yes, I can hear people at home, cars and bikes on the road, dogs barking, it's loud.
These have pretty good mix of ANC speakers and NC mics:

- Jabra Evolve2 50 (corded) and Evolve2 55 (wireless) series
- HP Poly Voyager Focus 2
- Logitech Zone Wireless 2

Thanks for your comment! This is exactly why we create these types of videos-to help people and businesses make more informed purchasing decisions.
