Regardless of the outcome, this track is truly breathtaking and this matchup is just iconic. Two of Shonen biggest rivals who've had stints on all sides of the morality spectrum and dealt with superiority-inferiority complexes regarding their rivals, this track perfectly captures Sasuke and Vegeta going at it. The art is also awesome! I love the combination of the Amaterasu, Sharingan, and Vegeta's Ki blast (likely the Big Bang Attack).
Completely agree, with one small detail. The ki blast is 100% the Final Flash. the picture has 2 hands in the right pose for it, Big Bang Attack only uses one hand. c:

The best thing about those commissions is that we get awesome tracks for match-ups that will most likely never happen either because while they are thematically interesting they are simply so one-sided death battle will never make them or they are just shitposts, or they are about characters not mainstream enough. The difference is, Sasuke already fought his best opponent and Vegeta is most likely going to fight Thor so if this idea become real episode It will be pointless and will be nothing considered as Spite towards Sasuke (Korra vs Storm was most likely because they love the idea. I doubt DB love Sasuke vs Vegeta as DB idea)
Not really hard, Sasuke Vs Vegeta is one of those incredibly basic, entry level, match ups casual fans come up with, but nobody who's more seriously into versus bothers discussing it. Remember that Goku Vs Naruto's a thing too. Same thing.

A total stomp yet still thematically fitting matchup that sounds really nice. Was fully expecting Dangerous Gaze to be put in there, which I am happy was there. I do also like how it was implemented in this song too, but more on that later. I also wanted to hear Vegeta's Super Saiyan theme there but honestly thought it wouldn't be included. So needless to say I was definitely surprised for the better when I heard the 2:37-2:56/3:46-4:18 bits that are it. This song isn't exactly easy to include given how it is so I'm really happy to hear how it was included. I really like how Dangerous Gaze and Vegeta's SSJ theme play around in this song: first it's only Dangerous Gaze that's heard to hint at the fact that Sasuke might have the upper hand as Vegeta wouldn't take him seriously, but later in the song Vegeta's SSJ theme appears and plays on even ground if not higher than Dangerous Gaze to show that Vegeta's not playing around anymore and he's taking the battle seriously. And finally the end of the song only has Vegeta's SSJ theme completely drowning out Dangerous Gaze that isn't heard anymore to show that Vegeta's won and Sasuke's lost. I have no idea if that was voluntary or if I'm even taking a valid interpretation of it here but even then I think it adds some great personality to the song and makes it fit the characters even more, which I really like and even is one of the main criteria I'm looking for in a theme: if it fits the characters (which is why Chorus of Carnage and Way Past Flash are still to this day some of my fav DB OSTs.) Great job, as always.
I can imagine Vegeta and people being confused as Sasuke is able to match him in Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan God, and even Super Saiyan Blue. Only to be revealed Sasuke has Vegeta in a Genjutsu to make him think that’s happening. Until it goes very wrong as Vegeta says “Fuck this” and blows up the planet and still wins.
Now this is a matchup I can absolutely get behind. Dangerous Gaze is back, as the traditional Uchiha theme in DB, with Vegeta's SSJ theme as well. I won't comment on the title, I don't need Vegeta breaking down my door to beat me up. As lopsided as this matchup would be, thematically speaking it's great and the track treats it with the gravitas our two proud combatants deserve.
Saiyan Saga Vegeta and Sasuke both cap at planetary but I'm still betting Vegeta in that case. But, if we use Vegeta and Sasuke at their current points, Sasuke gets clobbered. Like damn, he's gonna get murdered on the first hit, Vegeta doesn't hold back as much as Goku does.

You know what's funny? Vegeta and Sasuke actually beat Goku and Naruto in their first serious fights. Vegeta broke Goku's legs, and Krillin and Gohan needed to save Goku. Sasuke knocked Naruto out in the Finally Valley. But after Namek, Vegeta spends the series obsessing over Goku and trying to catch up, while Naruto spent most of Part 2 obsessing over Sasuke and trying to catch up to him. Oh, for the actual battle, Vegeta stomps.

Oh boy this is a nice track. I love the fast and alluding pace. I should not have to tell anyone about who wins this battle. But just in case because you have those who don't know. You have a Mountain to Planet level character from Naruto vs a Multiversal level character from Dragon Ball both of them are secondary to they best buddy in their respective Universe's.
This battle is a TAD bit close, thanks to Sasuke's Rinnegan, Amaterasu and Ultima-Sharingan (I honestly forgot the name of this one...), but Vegeta STILL just outclasses Sasuke by a LARGE margin...
The music sounds hardcore, the title is iconic and that would be a cool match up. Besides, the title reminds a bit of their rap battle at infinite source where they also argued about being second best.

I tried to listen very closely to this and I know that dangerous gaze playing but I think it's Vegeta's theme along with Sasukes hyouhaku just at a fast metal sound but that might be me being a fan.
I think everyone commenting on the matchup missed the point. Like, yeah, it’s a stomp, we all know it’s a stomp. Nobody’s suggesting it be an actual Death Battle, someone just thought it would make a good track.

DUDE YES. No joke, I was planning to do a Naruto vs Goku commission in the near future. According to seth the programmer, Adult Sasuke and naruto could have a power level of 60 million, so they could possibly handle anything in dbz up until the end of the frieza saga.
But this is vegeta who is literlly low multiversal from super anime and manga also goku is low multiversal so naruto and susake aint gonna really do anything and i doubt naruto and susake would even handle sayain saga considering vegeta and scales to his dad who destroyed 3 planets and goku scales thats bigger than anything naruto and susake done
Well, I said "possibly" for a good reason XD. Basically, if you believe that Naruto & Sasuke scale to Kaguya's giant truth seeking orb, and you believe that orb was capable of obliterating the entire planet and the nearest star around it, then they'd be in the tens of millions range of dbz power level.
It's script time everyone. Startup: "Never Second Best" ques immediately. 0:00: Vegeta flys above Konoha when he senses a unique energy signature. Vegeta: "This energy is coming from down there. But not common at all. What is-?" ???: "You. Up there." Vegeta looks in the direction the voice came from and sees Sasuke and that his energy is the one he sensed. He flys down to him. Sasuke: "What are you doing here." Vegeta: "Nothing. Just flying by when I sensed you're energy and it's like nothing I've felt before. What is-" Sasuke: "Leave, before I make you leave. You're in Konoha territory." Vegeta: "You've got a lot of guts to say that to me. Listen, my power level is far beyond yours so back off before things get ugly." Sasuke: "You've chosen poorly." 0:21: Sasuke pulls out his sowrd and trys to slash him, but Vegeta smacks it away and kicks him down. Vegeta: "Ohoho, I beg to differ. DADADADADADA!" 0:29: Vegeta fires at Sasuke with his Rapid Consecutive Blast. Sasuke retreats into the trees to avoid them, realizing automatically from how Vegeta smacked away his sword that he's to powerful to take on directly. When Vegeta finishes, he chases after him. 0:44: Sasuke creates 8 shadow clones which attack Vegeta. Vegeta easily fights them off and Sasuke uses a fire style jujitsu fire ball to hit Vegeta. Vegeta: "Ha. Big Bang, ATTACK! Vegeta fires at the attack to cancel it out. Sasuke charges through the smoke while using Chidori to send try and Vegeta backwards, but Vegeta skillfully redirects him and he misses. 0:58: Vegeta bursts into the air and begins throwing ki balls at Sasuke. (This is where the imaging begins.) 1:06: Vegeta: "Galick Gun, FIRE!!!!!!" Vegeta shoots his Galick Gun at Sasuke, but Sasuke barely doges it and traps Vegeta in a genjujitsu. Vegeta doesn't realize it. As he looks around in the darkened space his body begins to melt. He thinks that this is another one of this guy's abilities, until he realizes that the man's energy is in him and is no longer outside. Vegeta: "This isn't real, it's an illusion!" Knowing this, he powers up and transforms into his first Super Sayian form, breaking the illusions and grabing Sasuke, who was about to stab him from behind with his sword. Sasuke: "How did you-?!" Vegeta pulls him up close, Vegeta: "Nice try." And shoulders him into a tree while breaking the sword. Vegeta then uses his energy rings to bind Sasuke to the tree. Vegeta: Final, SHINE! Vegeta fires directly at Sasuke. . . 1:38: But Sasuke uses amenotejikara to bend space and swap places, causing Vegeta to get hit by the final shine instead. Vegeta: "Why you sneaky little-" Vegeta doesn't finish his sentence and, instead, dashes all around in a fit to hit Sasuke, who avoids all of the attempts. 1:48: Sasuke uses lightning jujitsu to summon Kirin, a giant lightning energy dragon. Kirin charges at Vegeta. In response, Vegeta makes his energy blade and slices right through it. He then trys to stab Sasuke with it, only to hit the rib cage of the Sussano and is then punched by one if it's arms. Vegeta: "What the!?! What was that!?!?" Sasuke: "Sussano." Sasuke then summons the full body of perfect Sussano who charges Vegeta. Vegeta: "That's it, You're FINISHED!!!!!!" 2:08: Vegeta is getting tired of Sasuke's tricks and transforms into is Super Sayian blue form. He then punches the Sussano and uses spirit fission to drain it's energy. As it and Sasuke recover, Vegeta charges his Final Flash. 2:17: Vegeta: "FINAL, FLASH!!!!!!!!!!" Vegeta fires at the Sussano who barely survives it. They take the fight above the clouds. (Wild time!) 2:26: Sasuke can tell that Vegeta is too much to handle but instead of giving up, he casts Amaterasu on Vegeta. Vegeta is alight with black flames, but is far from finished. Vegeta: "NO MORE TRICKS!!!!!" 2:37: Purple energy erupts from the flames. The Amaterasu is absorbed as Vegeta floats in place. He's is now in Ultra Ego, his most powerful form, and is mad. The Sussano attempts to slash at him but Vegeta grabs the sword. Vegeta: "Hakia." With his destruction energy, he erases the Sussano from existence, but Sasuke uses amenotejikara to escape and land on the ground. 2:56: after seeing Vegeta erase the Sussano, Sasuke decides to start using the six paths. He uses the Deva path to pull gravity down, but thanks to Vegeta's training, he stays in the air, but he does feel a bit of force. He looks down and immediately attacks Sasuke when he sees him, only for it to be a shadow clone. The real Sasuke jumps at Vegeta and uses the Preta path to start draining Vegeta's ki energy. 3:07: fortunately for Vegeta, he has too much energy for Sasuke to drain all at once throws him off. 3:09: Sasuke uses yin releases to distracte Vegeta and then uses the Deva path again to create multiple planetoids and launch them at Vegeta. When Vegeta sees them, he dashes twoard the them and destroys them all one by one before landing on the ground. Vegeta: "I'm ending this." 3:46: Vegeta begins to charge his Final Explosion, knowing that Sasuke has no chance at surviving it. Does Sasuke have anymore tricks up his sleeve? Does he have a way to win? Is he safe? Well, that's for you to decide as usual. What did you think of it? Next up, these two crime fighters of the night shall duke it out. "Out of the Shadows" that is. (Leonardo vs Daredevil)

I forgot I promised trunks I’d take him to the amusement park today As Vegeta flys back to capsule corp Naruto comes along to see what happend only to find what’s left of Sasukes broken Sword
Reverse Flash, Flash, Darkseid and both Doom levels of stomps. Poor bastard has MAYBE mind trickery which has SOME more power than Roshi’s fight given Vegeta isn’t AS smart, still a super stomp.
@@hades5680 Both are combined forms of two beings (Goku + Vegeta and Namu + whoever is Fate at the time) with Godly power (god ki for Vegito and Namu himself being a god) who wear an accessory needed for the combination to exist in the first place (potara earrings and the helmet of fate). Not much, and I'm sure I missed some, but there are a few connections. Of course Fate completely dunks on the DB multiverse but hey, it's a neat if odd matchup

Regardless of the outcome, this track is truly breathtaking and this matchup is just iconic. Two of Shonen biggest rivals who've had stints on all sides of the morality spectrum and dealt with superiority-inferiority complexes regarding their rivals, this track perfectly captures Sasuke and Vegeta going at it. The art is also awesome! I love the combination of the Amaterasu, Sharingan, and Vegeta's Ki blast (likely the Big Bang Attack).
Completely agree, with one small detail. The ki blast is 100% the Final Flash. the picture has 2 hands in the right pose for it, Big Bang Attack only uses one hand. c:

The best thing about those commissions is that we get awesome tracks for match-ups that will most likely never happen either because while they are thematically interesting they are simply so one-sided death battle will never make them or they are just shitposts, or they are about characters not mainstream enough. Not really hard, Sasuke Vs Vegeta is one of those incredibly basic, entry level, match ups casual fans come up with, but nobody who's more seriously into versus bothers discussing it.

A total stomp yet still thematically fitting matchup that sounds really nice.
Was fully expecting Dangerous Gaze to be put in there, which I am happy was there. I do also like how it was implemented in this song too, but more on that later.
I also wanted to hear Vegeta's Super Saiyan theme there but honestly thought it wouldn't be included. So needless to say I was definitely surprised for the better when I heard the 2:37-2:56/3:46-4:18 bits that are it. This song isn't exactly easy to include given how it is so I'm really happy to hear how it was included.
I really like how Dangerous Gaze and Vegeta's SSJ theme play around in this song: first it's only Dangerous Gaze that's heard to hint at the fact that Sasuke might have the upper hand as Vegeta wouldn't take him seriously, but later in the song Vegeta's SSJ theme appears and plays on even ground if not higher than Dangerous Gaze to show that Vegeta's not playing around anymore and he's taking the battle seriously. And finally the end of the song only has Vegeta's SSJ theme completely drowning out Dangerous Gaze that isn't heard anymore to show that Vegeta's won and Sasuke's lost.
I have no idea if that was voluntary or if I'm even taking a valid interpretation of it here but even then I think it adds some great personality to the song and makes it fit the characters even more, which I really like and even is one of the main criteria I'm looking for in a theme: if it fits the characters (which is why Chorus of Carnage and Way Past Flash are still to this day some of my fav DB OSTs.)

You know what's funny? Vegeta and Sasuke actually beat Goku and Naruto in their first serious fights. Vegeta broke Goku's legs, and Krillin and Gohan needed to save Goku. Sasuke knocked Naruto out in the Finally Valley. But after Namek, Vegeta spends the series obsessing over Goku and trying to catch up, while Naruto spent most of Part 2 obsessing over Sasuke and trying to catch up to him. Oh, for the actual battle, Vegeta stomps.

DUDE YES. No joke, I was planning to do a Naruto vs Goku commission in the near future. According to seth the programmer, Adult Sasuke and naruto could have a power level of 60 million, so they could possibly handle anything in dbz up until the end of the frieza saga.
But this is vegeta who is literlly low multiversal from super anime and manga also goku is low multiversal so naruto and susake aint gonna really do anything and i doubt naruto and susake would even handle sayain saga considering vegeta and scales to his dad who destroyed 3 planets and goku scales thats bigger than anything naruto and susake done
Well, I said "possibly" for a good reason XD. Basically, if you believe that Naruto & Sasuke scale to Kaguya's giant truth seeking orb, and you believe that orb was capable of obliterating the entire planet and the nearest star around it, then they'd be in the tens of millions range of dbz power level.

Vegeta looks in the direction the voice came from and sees Sasuke and that his energy is the one he sensed. He flys down to him.
Sasuke: "What are you doing here."
Vegeta: "Nothing. Just flying by when I sensed you're energy and it's like nothing I've felt before. What is-"
Sasuke: "Leave, before I make you leave. You're in Konoha territory."
Vegeta: "You've got a lot of guts to say that to me. Listen, my power level is far beyond yours so back off before things get ugly."
Sasuke: "You've chosen poorly."
0:21: Sasuke pulls out his sowrd and trys to slash him, but Vegeta smacks it away and kicks him down.
Vegeta: "Ohoho, I beg to differ. DADADADADADA!"
0:29: Vegeta fires at Sasuke with his Rapid Consecutive Blast. Sasuke retreats into the trees to avoid them, realizing automatically from how Vegeta smacked away his sword that he's to powerful to take on directly. When Vegeta finishes, he chases after him.
0:44: Sasuke creates 8 shadow clones which attack Vegeta. Vegeta easily fights them off and Sasuke uses a fire style jujitsu fire ball to hit Vegeta.
Vegeta: "Ha. Big Bang, ATTACK!
Vegeta fires at the attack to cancel it out. Sasuke charges through the smoke while using Chidori to send try and Vegeta backwards, but Vegeta skillfully redirects him and he misses.
0:58: Vegeta bursts into the air and begins throwing ki balls at Sasuke. (This is where the imaging begins.)
1:06: Vegeta: "Galick Gun, FIRE!!!!!!"
Vegeta shoots his Galick Gun at Sasuke, but Sasuke barely doges it and traps Vegeta in a genjujitsu. Vegeta doesn't realize it. As he looks around in the darkened space his body begins to melt. He thinks that this is another one of this guy's abilities, until he realizes that the man's energy is in him and is no longer outside.
Vegeta: "This isn't real, it's an illusion!"
Knowing this, he powers up and transforms into his first Super Sayian form, breaking the illusions and grabing Sasuke, who was about to stab him from behind with his sword.
Sasuke: "How did you-?!"
Vegeta pulls him up close,
Vegeta: "Nice try."
And shoulders him into a tree while breaking the sword. Vegeta then uses his energy rings to bind Sasuke to the tree.
Vegeta: Final, SHINE!
Vegeta fires directly at Sasuke. . .
1:38: But Sasuke uses amenotejikara to bend space and swap places, causing Vegeta to get hit by the final shine instead.
Vegeta: "Why you sneaky little-"
Vegeta doesn't finish his sentence and, instead, dashes all around in a fit to hit Sasuke, who avoids all of the attempts.
1:48: Sasuke uses lightning jujitsu to summon Kirin, a giant lightning energy dragon. Kirin charges at Vegeta. In response, Vegeta makes his energy blade and slices right through it. He then trys to stab Sasuke with it, only to hit the rib cage of the Sussano and is then punched by one if it's arms.
Vegeta: "What the!?! What was that!?!?"
Sasuke: "Sussano."
Sasuke then summons the full body of perfect Sussano who charges Vegeta.
Vegeta: "That's it, You're FINISHED!!!!!!"
2:08: Vegeta is getting tired of Sasuke's tricks and transforms into is Super Sayian blue form. He then punches the Sussano and uses spirit fission to drain it's energy. As it and Sasuke recover, Vegeta charges his Final Flash.
2:17: Vegeta: "FINAL, FLASH!!!!!!!!!!"
Vegeta fires at the Sussano who barely survives it. They take the fight above the clouds. (Wild time!)
2:26: Sasuke can tell that Vegeta is too much to handle but instead of giving up, he casts Amaterasu on Vegeta. Vegeta is alight with black flames, but is far from finished.
Vegeta: "NO MORE TRICKS!!!!!"
2:37: Purple energy erupts from the flames. The Amaterasu is absorbed as Vegeta floats in place. He's is now in Ultra Ego, his most powerful form, and is mad. The Sussano attempts to slash at him but Vegeta grabs the sword.
Vegeta: "Hakia."
With his destruction energy, he erases the Sussano from existence, but Sasuke uses amenotejikara to escape and land on the ground.
2:56: after seeing Vegeta erase the Sussano, Sasuke decides to start using the six paths. He uses the Deva path to pull gravity down, but thanks to Vegeta's training, he stays in the air, but he does feel a bit of force. He looks down and immediately attacks Sasuke when he sees him, only for it to be a shadow clone. The real Sasuke jumps at Vegeta and uses the Preta path to start draining Vegeta's ki energy.
3:07: fortunately for Vegeta, he has too much energy for Sasuke to drain all at once throws him off.
3:09: Sasuke uses yin releases to distracte Vegeta and then uses the Deva path again to create multiple planetoids and launch them at Vegeta. When Vegeta sees them, he dashes twoard the them and destroys them all one by one before landing on the ground.
Vegeta: "I'm ending this."
3:46: Vegeta begins to charge his Final Explosion, knowing that Sasuke has no chance at surviving it. Does Sasuke have anymore tricks up his sleeve? Does he have a way to win? Is he safe?

Unfortunately for him Vegetas final explosion was too fast and too powerful for him and it overcame Sasuke screaming as he Turned to ashes
When the dust cleared We see Vegeta still standing but tired form the fight

@@hades5680 Both are combined forms of two beings (Goku + Vegeta and Namu + whoever is Fate at the time) with Godly power (god ki for Vegito and Namu himself being a god) who wear an accessory needed for the combination to exist in the first place (potara earrings and the helmet of fate). Not much, and I'm sure I missed some, but there are a few connections. Of course Fate completely dunks on the DB multiverse but hey, it's a neat if odd matchup
