I love watching faker's stream more than anyone else. I'm used to it because of playing starcraft for so long that I even do it in my games for the most part when I play. Just not as fast.
That's the precise reason I quit Starcraft for League. 3 games of Sc2 took the same energy, concentration, brain power, APM etc that 5 hours of playing League takes. In League it's not really necessary to have this high APM whereas in Sc2 it's mandatory.
@@ddanish156 Let me put it this way. In league you control 1 unit. In starcraft you control upto 200 units , which is your max army. You also need to produce the units. You need to make your workers build buildings that make units. You need to do weapons/armor/shield upgrades through your buildings. All this you need to do in a particular order and a particular timing because there is supply. Once you reach your maximum supply you cannot produe anymore units. You need to make your workers build buildings which increase your supply cap. All this while scouting what your opponent is doing and often times defending against enemy attacks in multiple parts of the map. It's basically like League but you're controlling all the champions and minions on your team.
@@StarcraftSwarm Ehhh I strongly disagree. I was GM (low GM albeit but still GM) towards the end of HotS/beginning of LotV. Starcraft isn't that draining energy-wise, at least for me. League takes much much more out of you for many reasons but one of the biggest being you are playing a 5v5 TEAM game where you have to be somewhat aware of what your teammates are doing and what each of your opponents are doing/looking to do. In SC2 it's 1v1 you only have to worry about what 1 person is doing. Also there's no "objectives" in SC2 other than to win. Not saying league is a harder game at all, SC2 is several hundred times harder and difficult, but when I played SC2 I never felt drained. For example when I got GM I was no life'ing SC2 playing 8-10 hours almost every day and the only thing that stopped me from playing more is my body/eyes getting tired from lack of sleep and not lack of energy. League I can play like 5-7 games before I start losing focus and feeling drained from it.
It's a misconception btw, we do use 100% of our brain, just not 100% at once, which is normal because doing it makes no sense, it basically would be moving erratically every muscles of your body, thoughts etc etc. It would just be chaos, we use different part of our brain at different timings
