Fr the new outfits are so drippy in this game. My favorite combination of clothing pieces are frost attack pants, charged shirt, and mystic head piece all dyed white. Looks like an actual god walking around, but not very helpful in an actual fight lmao
The outfit paired with the weapon really adds to the aesthetic of this amazing sequence. The walk away at the end with explosion in the background was just....perfect. He looks like a badass anime protagonist. I love the mystic hair for that reason. Absolute win that they they allowed you to recolour along with other hair based headpieces as well
Impressive rush timing, but I'd say the real victor here is the attack attack stat of your weapon. It looks like a silver lizalfos horn from the depths of the castle area fused to a greatsword, in which case you're going to pattycake every gloom hand until it catches arthritis. If you're good enough with the combat you can farm these materials early game, like you obviously did.
I was not aware how early Phan Ganon's flurry ush windows was. I was trying to flurry him every time we fought and always waited until just before getting hit. Apparently I just need to wait until he even tries.
Flurry Rush timing in TotK feels so off to me, it's at the moment of the attack starting, not when you expect to be hit and it feels really bad to me. I feel like BotW was the complete opposite, it felt easier, more consistent. TotK just feels like they kind of made it worse and less intuitive.

Absolute win that they they allowed you to recolour along with other hair based headpieces as well
U can flurry rush the hands??
I'm so in panic, when I see these hands that I didn't even try... >.>
U can flurry rush the trees too! 😂
@@GHZARK Well, ok, but here I just need 1-2 hits with a sword. 😏
@@fayeluna8613 why do that when you can do it in style 😎
The outfit plus the dive to the ground plus the perfect combat just makes this like an anime fight once the protagonist gets op
I've never thought of this... I kill them with bomb arrows, but I never realized I could use my favorite, flurry rush.
I Flurry Rushed to get the Master Sword sharpish when I knew this Demon spawn existed.
Great video! The slo-mo gloom hands music is even creepier than regular speed
Nice dark Goku Cosplay :D
Naw that’s Marluxia from kingdom hearts😂
Early game gloom hands: AUUUGGHHHH RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY!!!
Late game gloom hands: Cool, free sword.
I feel like I'm not the only one who avoided this thing until I was way too overpowered to consider it a threat lol
SSJ3 Rosé really putting in work 💀
Impressive rush timing, but I'd say the real victor here is the attack attack stat of your weapon. It looks like a silver lizalfos horn from the depths of the castle area fused to a greatsword, in which case you're going to pattycake every gloom hand until it catches arthritis. If you're good enough with the combat you can farm these materials early game, like you obviously did.
I'm so glad this is the video that teaches me how to beat the monster 👌
I was not aware how early Phan Ganon's flurry ush windows was. I was trying to flurry him every time we fought and always waited until just before getting hit. Apparently I just need to wait until he even tries.
Flurry Rush timing in TotK feels so off to me, it's at the moment of the attack starting, not when you expect to be hit and it feels really bad to me. I feel like BotW was the complete opposite, it felt easier, more consistent. TotK just feels like they kind of made it worse and less intuitive.
@@FullBitGamer Yea, thanks for pointing it out! I noticed too, earlier is the code of combat in Tears. Much more aggressive than you could play in Breath.
@@FullBitGamer yah to make it harder. enemies pause. theyre less dumb this game.
Textbook definition of “built different”.
He is the chosen one
Dude! I beat the entire game and didn’t know about a scythe! That is so cool! I thought of having one but thought it wasn’t in the game! Man, isn’t that cool!
I wanna be like that when I grow up
0:54 they are super generous with that window right there he didn't even really start to swing and it triggered a flurry rush
I cant even time it vs lynel i didnt know u can do it without a shield im so confused?
Shield = Parry
Dodge= Flurry Rush
@@jpdevera9360 yes but I thought u needed to hold the shield button to dodge with x? I guess im wrong lmao
@@cantastix holding the sheild button with a 2 handed out, just locks on
@@cantastix you can lock on without a shield by pressing the “shield” button. You target the enemy just not holding a shield
@@cantastix You can hold the 'shield' button whilst wielding two handed weapons without pulling out your shield. You know your doing it because it points your camera at the enemy and a little orange arrow appears above their head
Love how you caught the grasshopper in slowmo
Furry Rush is that assisted mode that gives players an advantage but requires proper timing. It's the same as shield parrying against Guardians in BotW.
What " proper timing "? Its trigger is completely arbitrary. You can just memorize them.
The shield parrying is easier because there's only one thing to focus on. With the hands you need to work out which one to dodge and lock onto that specific one while avoiding the others.
0:33 grasshoppers like “get me tf out of here!”
For those who don't get it, he's cosplaying as super saiyan rose 3 goku black from dragon ball heroes. Also trap, next should be supet saiyan 3 broly, should be as easy as green mystic headpiece, yellow zonaite waistguard (can't remember name, the shirt slot zonaite piece) and red zonaite shin guards
Exactly what I was thinking
Such a good idea, I’ll credit you in the description
I didn’t even know you could flurry rush hands but ig you can flurry rush anything if you try hard enough lol
If you listen closely, Link yells out "Bankai!" 😎
I salute you for the amount of flurry rushing
What weapon is that?
Silver lizalfos horn
you get it from the silver lizalfos I think
Hmm...this might be what I need to spice up my Gloom Hand encounters. I've been using the, "Kill it with fire" strategy by using lynel bows and bomb flowers this entire time.
What weapon is that? It would have made defeating bosses sooo much easier
It's a Royal Claymore fused with a Silver Lizalfo horn
Its a reaper's scythe
When I saw those hands I teleported to rito village-
The first time I met them, I straightup ran the fuck away
and teleported to lookout landing.
And then I found out that gems are its weakness.
I’m now good at fighting them
I appreciate the subtle Marluxia cosplay in game 😍
Loved the slo-mo close up of the restless cricket.
Took me a hot minute to realize that Goku Black outfit👀
Dude is carrying around a Scythe like… *“No… I am Death now”*
would you tell me what scythe is that?
@@PemukulBambu Looks like a Royal Guard's Claymore with a Silver Lizalfos Horn fused. Royal Guard stuff gives you that spicy flurry rush bonus.
I think that was the first spot I ran into those things, and I definitely ran like hell
The fact that he killed them hands effortlessly is crazy dude I was able to kill them with water somehow praying to god ile never see that abomination ever again
I didn't think a grab could be Flurry Rushed so i didn't even begin to try, good to know it is
Out of all the Gloom Hand fight that I have seen so far, this one is the calmest one.
Pro tip : if you wanna defeat the gloom hands, just use a sapphire sticked to a magic wand thingy and the job's done, all you gotta do is hit them and try not to take gloom damage.
I thought these hands were scary but ice plus shock arrows does the trick. Not to mention that phantom ganon spawns which is superb because he drops a really good bow and sword.
A true master. Doesn't even look back as Phantom Ganon goes down.
I do not fear death, but I fear the man who face the gloom hands in melee combat
Why Ma boy out here looking like Rose Super Saiyan 3?
Ok, defeating the hands like that is impressive, but what I thought was cool was that dive with the last second hang-glider at the beginning.
hey that was great!!
I never thought the hands could be dodged.
Now i will spend hours learning to be untouchable as i did with lynels back in BOTW.
