I try my very best to meet the expectations of my viewers.
For such a long time I've looked at this beautiful and functional watch and regretted that Archimede chose not to differentiate the 12,00 O'clock index so that at night one can orientate the watch, this small detail is important to me because of my lifestyle. A double lumed index or a deletion of the lume would do it.
That’s a typical Flieger or Diver requirement. For dress watches, you see often the same index style around the dial. It is a bit calmer. On a dresswatch, I do not mind the „harmonized“ look.

Given the differences of the case, bracelet, etc. you can’t really compare the two.

If you want to compare the Colors - the best is to get a real live impression. I don‘t think I am going to make another video ;-).
I would love, love to see Archimede do a big date or power reserve classic model with an ETA 289* or Sellita equivalent…something akin to offerings from Union Glashutte without the Glashutte markup.
Next time I talk to them I‘ll drop that thought.
@@Watch-Maxe_En Axel, If you do, ask them also if they can ask some colour advisor. Maybe it is nationality and culture related, I don't know, but I think you could just become so much more popular if only they would use pleasing colours on the dial. Think Oris with the Big Crown Ponter Date series for instance (soft tones, pleasing to the eye). Compare that with the dial colours on the Outdoor 39...

Ive been thinking from more than a year about ordering Outdoor 39,but everytime I wait and buy something else.But maybe its for good,since a year their colourline is richer with a couple new variants,my 2 favourites are white/white indexes and latest beige/old radium.Someday Ill pick one up for sure.As I work in Germany and spend most of my time there,Im obliged to have some German brand watch 😁
the Outdoir is a great watch, I have the 41 Anti Mag, and the white one. Stunning is the Chrono, so flat for a 7750 inside.
Thank you for your deeds, interesting postings. I'd like to buy a marine cronometer watch with Unitas mechanism and I stopped on the models of makers Stowa and Tourby. Tourby is a bit more expensive because premium mechanism, but I think both makers have wellmade mechanisms, both look good, both offer temperature blued hands and silver dial. What do you reccomend me, Stowa or Tourby?
Stowa is the bigger company, longer in the market, bigger service team. Tourby is a bit more a niche player. Since I already gave two Stowa, I would go for Tourby, preferably the Art Deco.
