@@Tiglath-PileserXIX yup the minute I saw Woll was injured I was freaking out guess it was the correct thing to do I knew what would happen
Hardest team to be a fan of for real
The leafs were not the better team the whole game. But I get it you're a leaf fan so you see through rose colored glasses. They were good and it was close to even. Close. But the better team won!
This makes me happy, I'm not even going to complain that the video was uploaded in 360p.
Last time Leafs won a cup, color highlights in 360p would have been sorcery
@@jimgray3346 They took the lead with 10 minutes left, all they had to do was play the trap for a few shifts, short passes and board battles, but NOOOOOOO! they wanted another goal, had to get cocky, had to keep the game open flow. TBF I don't think the Leafs can play a trap game.
Hats off to both goalies. They played amazing games. You knew this was going to be a tight game. When the leafs scored in the 3rd, i thought it was over. Awesome game.
You could take every player on Boston, put them in a Leafs Jersey, put the Leafs players in Boston jerseys and Toronto would still lose. I'm convinced it's a curse.
More like an immutable rule of nature. Toronto sports teams are absolute crap and will win nothing.
It's a mindset
It's the Toronto mindset. You see it everywhere in Toronto society if you're from there.
It's their management too
Thing is Canadian hockey fans are too toxic. Too much pressure and non-sense for players to succeed.
No one better than the Leafs at losing.
It's my Stanley Cup every year.
If there was an award for flopping in the playoffs the leafs are a dynasty
Dallas cowboys ! every year before one game is played they like the leafs start planning their victory parade
I saw that most people had Toronto winning this game. Why? When are people gonna learn that the leafs can’t win game 7s especially in Boston?
I think that was before they knew Leafs were starting Samsonov... lol
I am so happy that the Leafs are done for the season now.
Thank you, Boston.
Thank you.
Shoutout to Toronto for being an absolute punching bag for us over the last 60 or so decades. We love yall even though you don’t love us, and like us B’s fans say to Leaf’s fans: we won’t argue with you, but instead, we’ll tell you to just watch.
Bruins blew a 3-1 lead last year against wc2 while being the most winning team ever in NHL history, that is far more embarrassing then anything the Leafs have done.
@@paulthompson8793 oh yeah, let’s bring up an entirely different team to deflect, as if it’ll change the relationship between TOR/BOS. I see where you’re coming from but I HEAVILY disagree on the fact that it’s more embarrassing than TOR losing again. I mean, the whole LEAGUE is in on the repeating, perpetual TOR/BOS playoff gag, so what exactly is your point? Because with your logic, I can bring up EVERY underdog playoff loss, but it still doesn’t equate to this💀
@@forsalt9831 he argued
As a habs fan...... THANK YOU BOSTON
As a habs fan myself that probably felt disgusting to say considering you probably hate the the Bruins too.
Regardless of the last goal, Marner and Rielly need new homes next season. We let up on the physicality after the 2nd period and Woll needs more serious #1 consideration as well. GG Bruins
Woll got hurt
@@JarradBruessel32 I know but he needs more games next season
@@ECH0ChAOs Then he will get hurt even more. The guy is as brittle as glass. He was not available when the team needed him.
woll's health is a liability at this point

@@Tiglath-PileserXIX lmfao his leg got squished into the post....
As a Bruins fan, I promise not to get arrogant about this win. Game could have gone either way. Panthers are gonna be brutal.
I was at the game. What an electric response the Bruins had. Swayman kept them in the game. Toronto had all the better scoring chances
Great highlights. Wow. Into overtime in game 7. Condensed to 10 minutes. Thanks.
Never underestimate the Leafs ability to lose a7 game series to the Bruins. And History continues to repeat itself. Bravo leafs! Bravo! 👏
Maybe next year will be their year
Then again, maybe not.
Getting to game 7 and putting up a fight certainly assures Leaf fans to feel good about their team that they will see the same line up and management team come October.
It’s never their year they are a cursed franchise
@@Tiglath-PileserXIX Not like they can trade any of their grossly overpaid pillows.
Shucks, way, way back in the late 60s, Anno Domini, we used to say the same thing. Time has not shucked stupid comments.
I cant stop watching this. All of Canada is so happy and proud for the bruins.
Boston OWNS the Leafs😂😂😂
Getting taken to OT in game 7 is not owning anything. Swayman owned the Leafs though.
shut the fk up and grow some balls frogs....build a team and then come yakking

@maekklyn Its fine. Im not really a bruins fan or hater. I just like players and how they pummel the leafs 😂
It's just too poetic to not have this outcome. Saw it from a mile away
First round exit for the leafs, spring is officially here!
1967 and counting, if only everything in life was as consistent as the leafs!!
What a goal, what a play!
Congrats Bruins. Well deserved.
Much respect from this here Habs fan
That game winning pass was insane. Goal was great. But the pass was on another level
The only gaurantees in life... Death, taxes, and the Leafs losing in game 7 to the Bruins
Merry Christmas everyone!

@@kaveman2238 Ha! I'm not even a Bruins fan. I just have pure hatred for the Leafs and I will always cheer against them. As a matter of fact, I was actually cheering for Florida to beat Boston. So nice attempt at trying to make yourself feel better buddy, but it backfired big time.
Never change Toronto :P
When these two teams play, it just feels like a dice roll at times. Except when game 7 hits.
I'll never forgive Boston for 2011 in Vancouver, but thank you for this.
Can not wait to hear all the Leafs crybabies whining with the excuses on why Toronto lost.
Bet ya #1 will be 'Because Woll wasn't playing'.
Leafs fan here. No excuses at all. I prepared myself for them to lose, and they lost. I’m cheering for the oilers now. And btw, I’m tired of everyone thinking leafs fans are crybabies. Leafs suck. They need to completely change their team. And I admit that.
There are a few asking why keefe didn't start him. Apparently they didn't watch the game at all because they kept saying woll was injured
@@JarradBruessel32 Ya, watch his attempted save at the end of game 6. His right leg was pinned in an exceptionally awkward position as he stretched for the save. I was really surprised he got back up as quick as he did, that's a torn ligament most other times I've seen that.
@@JB0i Most fans are done with these losers man, just prove it time and time again they are not playoff performers. Can only hope for big changes this year, resign domi, McCabe, benoit

Yeah he was actually absent match 5 and 6 and they won, i wonder why! Matthews is not a playoff player. He's great in regular season but can't play with pressure.

He'd stick out like a sore thumb with the stat I gave you.
The guy who only plays in like half the playoff games (Willy) is your best player in the series. Something gotta change. Pajama boy? invisible. Marner? Too soft for playoffs. Rielly, about 89 turnovers this series, caught flat footed again on game winner.
Caught flat footed for sure but Sammy can't watch the puck come within a foot of the crease and do nothing about it. Tough year and loss this time around but people never give the Leafs any credit for going the distance with very skilled teams. The meme is we lose, which we do, but we typically go the distance with one of the best teams in the league.. people just love to hate.
@@Scottosaur I get it. But 3 wins is tied for 2nd best in the shanny era....when you need 16.... just isn't good enough.

the problem is that the leafs waited until they were down 3 to 1 to start playing playoff hockey

What a game for Hampus Lindholm! First he practically underhands a wrist shot through four Leaf players and into the one spot available, and then that dump in, which was probably one of the best indirect passing plays he has made, in his entire life..
Despite having a superior team with 4 superstars, Toronto is forever cursed and will never win a playoffs series EVER😢
