One day, they appeared on an auction listing. The competition was fierce, but I was determined. I bought them both back, and now the tractors are back in the family. So it may be a sad day when your Case leaves, but maybe, maybe you can get her back when things get better. Remember, your viewers feel for you, and we are your friends. Hang tough, my friend. I feeling bad for you about this. I let go of one of my Minneapolis Moline ZB and the U for the same reason as you had to lots of good memories on those tractors. I took the U to school on "drive your tractor to school' day. That was 30 years ago.
I still got my tractor, a fiat from 1959 wich was from my granddad. But i had to sell my 79 camaro too ... wich was sad... but here in Europe the laws r getting stupid
@@marijnclaesen Does not seem like a big deal, most stuff especially if it's drivable should easily pass an inspection...or is it like some of the crazy states here where they have to meet emissions and with a modified vehicle or worn out one it will neve pass.
It was a little bit modified like exhaust, hijackers etc etc and it passed the inspection first time and then u never had to go back for oldtimers. Then after they needed money and changed it so we all had to go back and stricter rules, so i would have to undo a lot of things and spend a lot extra where it before 2020 never was a problem
Honestly you think it should be worth that. Go drag one out of the trees& see what fun you got. I was just at a parade talking to one of the local Oliver owners. Tim& I were talking about what one 12-4-38 titan costs, $1600
I was at this same point about 10 years ago. Got hurt at work and ended up disabled. Had to sell my 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger, 1952 Massey-Harris 44 special, and 1968 CAT Tracked loader among other things. My health hasn't improved but I've adapted to my new life and am soon going to be at the point where I can buy and enjoy building my collection of classics again. Hard times will pass my friend, I'm sure that Case will sell fast. That is a very fair price! You'll always have good memories with it and don't forget unlike people... It can always be replaced in the future once you're in a better place. Stay strong, and god bless!
Dave, I hope things get better for you. I can tell it's hard on you to make the decision to financially need to sell one that is your pride and joy. As a Case enthusiast myself, I feel your pain. And , yes it's worth every bit of $2000. I gave that a couple years ago for a 42 D on full steel.
Yes it is and I have a battery cover for it I just haven't painted it yet so but if someone buys the tractor and they want it I'll definitely send it along

i feel the same i just let my ford capri after 18 yeasr go it stil hurts but i could not keep her a live any more but i stl got one left in the garage also not running for 25 years stil love youre shows very much greetings from holland

This year's just been a really rough year things aren't selling like they normally do expenses are higher than they were big ticket items aren't selling at all we've had some projects that ended up costing double to what I thought they were going to be and my personal expenses have gone up just been a bad year all the way around
Great video. Sad when ya heart is into something and needs to sell. The equipment used in different parts of the country is a story on its own. Our area of Michigan featured John Deere and International with a smattering of Allis Chalmers and Ford. The 'Case' was the laughing stock.
Please don’t get upset at this but you should try to lose some weight partner you’d feel better and you’d be able to do things by yourself vs having other people do it for you
When you have to sell something you love it’s the hardest thing in the world the other day I had a chance to sell my rifle for a lot of money and I turned him down because it was a rifle that meant a lot to me something I want to give to my son
If you look at how the major new equipment ag manufacturers are laying off hundreds of people clearly there is a slow down ongoing in the ag sector so don't feel bad about needing to raise cash. Let's hope that you don't have to sell at "take it off your hands" prices.

That’s sad. I’d be very upset if I have to sell any of my tractors. But. You have to do what needed. $2000. Seems low for a price.
