$60 is an insane price I have to agree, wish they’d put more sword shield in the box

$60 is wild. My son is getting into pokemon cards now and he gets a $5 budget at Target so usually he gets a single pack. He always looks at the collection boxes or tins and wants those but we're trying to teach him about budgeting and saving. Problem is, for a young kid, saving for 12 weeks for something like that is hard to wrap your head around.
They're probably banking on the fact that obsidian flames pull rates are crazy. Might as well put a picture of the Charizard card on the box and say "You might pull one of these!"
It's not insane or I just don't have good luck because I opened a entire trainer box and only got 1 good pull which was a full art poppy trainer card

Target pricy
60 is just a wild price, would much rather spend a bit more for a 151 ETB and booster bundle
I have to say; I was tempted to buy this because of Gardevior but it was just too pricey. Maybe that’s what they bet on. 🤷🏼♀️
Walmart and target have so many of these collector boxes that are so expensive lol. I appreciate you opening this up for us.

Best value I've found recently was at Costco. It's a scarlet and violet etb with two PokeBalls together. Cost is 45 bucks, which is the general cost of the etb by it's self. Picked two up for my kids

Whether or not the box ends up being worth $60, I'm just surprised to see Gardevoir and Magnezone, two Pokémon I really like, featured in a box together like this despite having pretty much nothing in common.

Not worth MSRP but you can expect more coming from the Pokémon Company. As supply is abundant of Scarlet and Violet, they need to add variety to move product off the shelves.

You can get an OBF booster box for under $100 if you're trying to complete a set or get another shot at pulls.
This is like alotta the “exclusive” boxes - crazy high price for little “exclusive” value. GS eevee collection, Amazon arceus vstar, Best Buy had one too. I just don’t see the value either. The last one they had though the vmax dragons box / that one I feel hit the value mark.

My daughter is 5 and just got into playing the game with me. Her favourite Pokemon are Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir, Gallada and she enjoys destroying me when she gets them going with Supporter cards. She would be over the moon with the box!! :)
They definitely fudged the numbers there. Compare this to the shaymin or darkrai premium collection boxes which were way way cheaper with 8 good packs
Hello Pokerev i'm getting back into pokemon collecting currently my rarest care is a rainbow rare raihan trainer going for about 30 dollars ungraded. Do you have any tips for me? like what packs to open? i used to be a collecter, but my cards were lost to time so i'm starting over
That's pricey for scarlet and violet era packs. Even with 2 sword and Shield era packs
Obsidian flames pull rates are great. I've only opened six packs and already pulled the gold charizard

Doesn't really seem worth it to me was tempted to buy when was cheaper but never did. I would also not recommend the blissey and gardevoir tins from dollar store. I bought 4 and nothing.
Just got one for $40 🤙 was born in 92 so was big into it up until middle school or so, want to get back into it with my niece, should have done more research but hopefully I get some good pulls! 🤞

I agree that the Evolving Powers box is extremely overpriced. I thought the Gamestop Lugia box was bad...then I saw this 😂
$60 is a lot when I consider how many packs you get in other boxes, like a booster box.
around $40 seems more of Value but the Gardevoir cards are beautiful

I saw it at my Target too like last week and scanned the price, I was like no way and I put it right back and left. I agree $40 is the most I would ever pay for it, theres nothing of value in there.
