Good point! We'll be sure to measure next time to complete the comparison. But considering the Qi10 had the longer shaft, one would expect it to launch the ball further, but our test showed that the oldie still has some juice behind the clubface.
Absolutely we did! We just recorded another brand comparison recently (keep an eye out for that!) and we also made sure to adjust the modern driver's adjustable loft sleeve to match the older club's loft angle. You're spot on though. It wouldn't be fair if the lofts weren't the same!
This make TaylorMade look really bad, in also guessing since your selling the old models you want to promote that old clubs hold up to new clubs, However I just switched from the Titleist 907D2 (2007) to the Titleist TSR3 (2023) I went from 265 carry to a 285 roll to a 285-290 carry to 300-305 roll.. and I brought my old Driver to test them out on the same day on the same day, and my carry with the new titleist is the total distance of my 2007 Driver
Hi there! As mentioned at the start of the video, our test aims to provide our audience with results reflective of a golfer with average swing speed. We're definitely not trying to make anyone look bad, especially because we sell both models and the Qi10 is offered in new and used conditions. Very happy to hear about your gains though! From those numbers sounds like you've got some mighty swing speed. Keep smashing it friend!
I still game the R5.
How about the length of the shafts? Modern clubs are longer

just got one for free and hit almost 300 yards. lol 250 at least. r540 is cool
10.5 vs 8.5??? Tell me you made the lofts the same? How else would it be a true comparison?
