Most people do the motor swap when their m20 breaks as a m50/ M52 swap fits nicely into an e30 without any extreme modifications. M50/M52 is a more powerful platform and more reliable. They can also handle way more punishment in terms of modding and boosting the motor.. Mine is a stock m20 that came with the car, it’s all about the exhaust setup, branches as well as a Center box and rear box should do the job, also depends where you send the car.
