There are 3 things that made me absolutely excited for new kits of this line: - They got rid of polycaps. - They got rid of C clip. - They improved the torso.
i called it bandai's bionicles the moment the line was announced. then they put out the cg ads and it was not even thinly veiled anymore. they straight up even animate them the same way.
I could see Bandai making a Master Grade-ish level of the 30 Minutes Fantasy tech. They could use this for reviving the MG Figure-rise and/or Figure-rise 6 lines. Maybe for Ultraman, Godzilla, and other large Tokusatsu characters.
McFarlane DC figures use the same style of wrist & ankle joint, as does some NECA. They're good alternatives to ball joints, but can be pain to rotate the joint to change the axis.
Are those wrist joints the same as on the 30 Minute Sisters? And also, it seems like these figures are meant to be 1/12 scale or at least look good next to 6 inch figures? At least my estimate from the size comparison with the Knight 30mm kit, I don't have this kit in hand... yet...
@Derek_Gamble oh yeah, these things are extremely hot at the moment. In korea ot has become impossible to get as well. (Unless you pay like 2.5 times the price)
kind of a shame 30mf aren't to scale with 30mm. the 30ms are already too tall beside 30mm, and these seem to be "to scale" with 30ms in the sense that those are little girls, and these are big men... so these are just that much bigger than 30mm stuff. it really makes everything incompatible to display or diorama together, and makes all the supposedly universal 3mm accessories very wrong sized for each other.... i'm seeing the same issue witth the armored core kits. the styling, level of detail, and size are way too different from the regular 30mm line iteself. they could have been put in hg along other licensed mechas for more appropriate branding instead

I love the terms used when the Silhouette changes class or upgrades. Gives off a Kamen rider vibe.
30MM really is just Bionicle in disguise at this point, which isn't a bad thing.
Bionicle mentioned! Let's goooo!
I see this one as Bionicle while 30MM being mecha The Centurions.

…. As a Bionicle fan, it’s one of the reasons as to why I want these sets!
This also reminds me of knights kingdom
You my friend put me onto this kit, i saw your review snd decided to order this one
@Knox-vz1wi not sure if its still difficult to get one but its worth every penny.
@marasai426 it's a bit of a wait for it to arrive but I'm confident it will be with the wait.
Thank you for the review! I was looking forward to this kit!
I can't wait for it I want them so bad

It should be also stated that this set is exclusive to outside of Japan.
Not often Bandai would be this generous to outside Japan modelers.

finally, 30 Minutes Brothers.
these are soo good the shoulder joints intrest me so we can add thrusters
Compared to Spinatio knight/sengoku/army type, this one is less scarecrow-y and have better proportion for knight type
@@RevanR yup more humanisc style
Quite the nice sight.

@@Doiboy35 well i dont own any 30mm sister stuff so cant say much
@@marasai426 I understand, thank you for responding!
Can't find a single one of these guys anywhere in Kanagawa. Sold out everywhere...

Do you think the armor can be interchangeable with other job?
Hmm. Still robots.. what kind of medieval knight/steampunk setting bandai is giving us? Heck I am all for it..
I can see someone making a black luster soldier with this line easily
possible but there is already a Figure-rise Standard of Black Luster Soldier
Are they still consider robot/machines? or human wearing armor?
Sentient machines would be best way to describe.
@@marasai426 like a transformer?
Is this smaller than HG gundam kits?
a bit bigger than gunpla hg 1/144 scale kits
