It's obvious that you & turtles love the place showing off all its details. 🌴Surprised it wasn't in 8K😁The room seems comfy but not overly themed so that a refurb wouldn't be taking away underlying crucial items & should be easy enough but I'm interested in your take. Bet you'd want nothing touched. Glad it was a nice day to film & hope you had a nice stay friend.💜
Believe it or not, it’s been a couple months since my last visit here so it was so wonderful to be back on such a nice day! An 8K version will definitely be filmed eventually when I have more time to deal with all the millions of years it takes to process lol. The rooms here are ok, but I always liked the Pirate rooms much more so I’d be totally cool with a refurb! Hoping to check out the Little mermaid rooms soon because supposedly they’re available to stay in now, even though I didn’t notice that on the website lol. Thank you so much as always Liz, and I’ll have a night tour coming up as well!

Brings back fond memories of our stay here in January 2020. We loved being able to use Skyliner to easily go to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Stayed in a pirate room at the time. Loved getting Geoffrey's coffee by the Skyliner too.

We stayed here a few years back and Boardwalk the year after - definitely preferred CBR. The pool is bigger at the Boardwalk and the proximity to EPCOT is nice but something about Caribbean Beach that we just liked more. Not to mention the cost difference.
I love Caribbean beach is so awesome I need to stay there for sure 🐃

Stayed there years ago loved it.
This is a sprawling resort! Seems pretty fun with the theming. But, weird as I am, I followed your walking path on a map of the resort to see where you were along the way…the size may not be so bad, as long as. you know the best way to get where you want to be (using the bridges for Carribean Cay to get to the main building, knowing which Skyliner station is closer…. This was a great walk-about…felt like being there!!
oh no, your letting the CB Pied Piper get to you! Walk away from the map, walk away while you still can......🤪🤣
@@Liz.R oh, I like Port Orleans French Quarter too much (bring on those beignets and cafe au lait)…it will be my Moderate Resort of choice…as Pop is for Value and AKL for Deluxe…except in cases of special events ☺️
That’s true, if you know the best routes you can certainly cut a lot of the walking! Overall though I actually always loved how massive this place is, but I understand I’m in the minority there lol. Thanks so much Rick!!

Disney's Caribbean Resort is HUGE.
Guests with their own transportation will enjoy their stay here better than those who rely on their feet or Disney transportation to get around.
The Island influence is evident in the pastel colors and interior design.

We don’t drive so found walking around the resort quite enjoyable. When people have said how big it is, we thought it wasn’t as big as what people make it out to be. Back in the Uk, my wife and I walk to places a lot so we’re used to walking. Not to mention we used the transportation from the skyliner as well as the buses at Riviera to get to and from the parks. I would definitely stay here again that’s for sure.

While this resort doesn't appear to be as immersive with its theme, like several of the others are, it's still very beautiful, and it gives off peaceful vibes. (9/6/2023)

Haha yes, it’s massive! It used to be even bigger before they tore down part of the resort to build the Riviera resort
Does anyone know if guests are allowed to fish those ponds/lakes? I know you can pay for a guide but I mean on your own

I have been thinking about staying at this resort in November. How bad are the lines for the Skyliner in the morning and night?
I’ve never had to wait for the Skyliner myself during those times, but I’ve heard from others the lines can get very long. But supposedly they move relatively fast
The first section you walked through outside near the Riviera, is that the Jamaica area? The lighting sorta changes and I was wondering if the roofing is orange or red. Weird reason why I'm asking is that I customized a Droid Depot droid and painted him an orange and blue that look amazingly close to that! (IF it IS orange) Just trying to see if it was lighting or if it actually is that orange color.
That area is actually Martinique! That color is more on the orange side, but a little red & pink could be in there too. The color looks different at times depending on if the sun is out or not but overall I’d say it’s a deeper orange!

If you stay in trinidad buildings 34 or 35 is the walk to Port royal and the skyliner not too bad?
The walk is kind of far to Old Port Royale from Trinidad, but not to the Skyliner! The biggest advantage of being in Trinidad is the close proximity to the Skyliner station
@@4KWDW thank you. We are wanting to request building 34 to be close to skyliner and spyglass grill is atleast there. Not too far from the bus stop. And we will only be using the main port royal 1 day of our trip so I figured trinidad may be a good spot for us. I'm wanting the new mermaid rooms.

That is Disney’s Riviera resort
Many are the islands
Just stayed there for 3 nights the second week of May and was very disappointed in the experience. The problem with this resort is that it’s a moderate priced resort, but the rooms and facilities had a cheap feel. The on-site restaurant was terrible.
The reason we chose it was the hope that it would be convenient to Epcot and HW studios via the cable car network. This wasn’t the case. The cable cars broke down one night leaving us stranded at Epcot after closing. We ended up hiking to the Boardwalk and getting an Uber. To Disney’s credit they gave us a voucher for lunch the next day.
The next night the cable cars were closed due to weather so we had to wait a good 30 minutes to catch a bus.
My last issue was that the buildings for this resort are spread out over quite a distance, so we’re we’re a long walk to the central building and nicest facilities.
All in all it wasn’t a good value for dollar and time spent.
I love WDW and will continue to visit, but will not stay at this resort.
