I would like to know the same info. I bought a prefilled bag set and when they arrived...no filling! I bought a "Sand Tube" which is supposed to be used for extra weight in the trunk of a car or truck bed in winter. It wasn't sand it was dried dirt!

@@jeffallen3382 There are a lot of options but I like the feel of sand. I have a bag of "play sand" from the hardware store. I spread some out on a baking sheet and dry it in the oven on low temp for a while. After it cools, I use a long funnel to add it to the bag. It is a pain in the butt and takes a while to get it packed in there. I usually have to add more sand several times before I'm happy with how full it is.

Going from ball to extruded or vice versa, back to back without cleaning is never recommended. Additionally, your stiff bolt lift is most likely brass related and not necessarily a pressure sign for the charge weight. It can definitely be an indicator, but at only one sample you could have moved onto the next charge weight.

This is a new 18" WOA SPR with maybe ~500 rounds on it. My old SPR barrel (1:8 mid gas) was given away to a family member. It still shoots great after A LOT of rounds through it.
The predator barrel was also repurposed and given to a friend. You are right that it just didn't seem to do as well. It didn't do bad by any means, but some of my favorite bullets (like the 77s) just didn't shoot as well as they did with the SPR.
Instead of learning about that Predator chamber and figuring out what it likes, I just decided to go back to an SPR.

I've noticed plenty of powder and bullets at newer prices. A local gun shop has 60 or so pounds of powders and a decent supply of primers. Powders are priced at $50/lb and CCI primers are $90 a brick.

Johnny, believe me, I don't crack a smile when you chant "Don't screw it up" because it isn't funny. that sort of pressure is a difficult self-control thing as your mind is saying "Care, but, don't care too much,, then don't care at all,,, back to don't care too much" the whole time you are disciplining trigger pressure and concentrating on the cross-hair intersection. It is tough, to say the least about it. However, I see what you were dealing with and those shots would have been in there, you were trying your best, it's all good. peace bro -Dave

Not sure why you think a stick powder that slow would work well in 6.5Grendel. I can tell you it does excellent in .22Grendel.

I think it might have some usefulness with heavy bullets in the Grendel. I'll test it just because I'm curious, but I'm keeping my hopes and expectations in check for 6.5 Grendel. We'll see.

The cost of this powder should be normal. I just paid 2X normal because the retailer is a dick and I really wanted the powder.
