I have been playing this game now since the Beta. And you would think that in all those years i would know everything there is to know about this game. Wrong And i will tell you why. This game was and is under development all the time. There were only a fraction of the cabins that we have now when i started. And only a couple of engines (They didnt even work for the first year, they were just there). With every update there were changes, some small others complete gamechangers. Todays crossout is completely different to when i started. Hell, even the community has changed. So many ppl have quit because they couldnt handle it. Those that stayed share one thing. They are all adaptable to change. They never specialized on just one thing. And they never stopped learning. So thats why i still watch the youtubers. They keep me updated on the changes. And they also inspire me to make new builds. So here is to you JB! Thank you for pouring your soul into these vids. I appreciate it.

You forgot to explain the advantage of the bastion résistance perk upgrade or why we want durability and not résistance on the humpback ( Or the bonus of the omamori on the bastion )
I have been playing for 5 years but have to craft parts, so my 2000 helicopter is the fastest way to make scrap. You make scrap faster at 2000 then any level
Usually a low PS 2k-4k has a long queue, 5-8k has a shorter queue and wires gives you more value/game. Like 10 wins on wires(100-110)has a market value of about $13-15(PC) and 10 wins with scrap(250-270) has a market value of about $8.50-10.50(PC) So sell the 100 wires for $14ish pay the 10%, then take the $12.60 and buy 300ish scrap and probably have a few coins and wires to boot.
@@robvlob What game reward has the best value per game varies by platform and current market rates. Typically it is never worth to get one resource to sell for another for very long. Clan confrontation is probably bringing down scrap metal prices due to only having one option for rewards. i find that that game mode tends to queue faster and have faster games for the same reward so that is a factor as well.
@drumer960 Yes, that's why I included (PC) and the shortest queue. I figure value/hour, and you almost always come out ahead playing for one resource(wires on PC), selling that resource(putting in a sell order for more coin), and buying(put in a buy order for lower coin) another resource(Batts or scrap PC). Back when scrap also gave cabs, wheels, shotgun, etc. (with a win), it was a no-brainer to do get the cab since at that time, cabs were worth 2-4x what everything else was worth yet players would play for wheels since they "needed then". Even after pointing out that selling a cab would give them enough coin to buy 2+ wheels.

Thats why a good strategy is to make a build with a lot of structural parts on back and side but cabin in fron not protected at all, So they damage the cabin durability, and then you shield with your structural parts still intact later. If they break the structural parts before your cabin take damage, you don't use "the durability twice" So tanky builds with a small cabin naied in tte front can be a excellent strategy for sole builds, especially heli builds ( at 4000-6000 ps at least)
I hope you know that Tusk cabins don't need to hit the cabin. They can hit any part and if they have any slight bit of luck, they will on shot you. Even if they barely tap you with full charge.

Another beginner tip for anyone who has messed around with the levi mechanic, and forgot to delete it, you won't be able to sell anything that is attached to the levi. (quit for a while because i couldn't sell my epic auto cannons back in the day) finally asked support and they're like... "your levi tho?" ahhhh
Can you also debunk the outdated spaced armor meta that some old-timers cling onto till this day? Especially those who ride into battle while piloting huge "hollow" hovercrafts. Like, they all live in the past or something, and don't realise that most of the guns that spaced armor even mattered against before, now have some damage spill over mechanics. This just baffles me. Why not make a compact, comparatively light and fast, easy to miss vehicle, instead of a huge slow target that screams "focus fire on me!"... ?
@@drumer960 You're delusional. Shoot through parts are only good against BULLET damage. The only two autocannons that have bullet damage are the underutilized Tempest and Whirl, all others have "mini explosions". True, they don't spill over their damage, but they really don't have to, because most of AC weapons have a comparatively good rate of fire. Basically, you won't be having much time to to steer away and use other parts as shields inbetween autocannoneer shots, as it was way before, with actual cannons. Spaced armor (not necessarily shoot through) is good only against SOME rocket launchers now, which aren't really meta anyways. Meaning, its just bad.

Ive hated this game for 6 years, I've just recently tried to cut back to 4-5 days a week. The last BP patch grind had me grinding every day for 6 months(to get crate at lvl 128), this time around I'm trying to enjoy the game again like I did when there was the origjnal chase raid(45 second raids).

not much you can do it's the way the have the servers setup. If you have one small hiccup while the match loads you will get stuck. I usually have no one streaming or watching stuff at home so that helps a lot
Another great video JB, I'm glad that more and more content creators of CROSSOUT, but when the misinformation this is very rui for those who are starting out, and your videos help the community a lot, keep up the good work, As for the first video of the other guy, on some points I even agree with him, I don't think the CATALINA is the best cabin, even though it's the most expensive and desired by the community, because you have a big debuff, so later if you can carry it, you can enjoy the high damage! And most of the time the crossout players are so bad that the matches end too quickly! But like I said, that's my opinion, I prefer to use a cheaper cabin and with specific perks, even though I have the catalina!
Let's go over why you would or wouldn't expose your cabin. First. Melee builds. They do absorb damage but with no pen or splash. They normally just 1 tap a structure part, but they may also 1 tap a cabin. Don't expose your cabin. 2 cannons. They splash on what they hit, or pen and splash after. The standard bus in training can take about 30/40 cannon shots or more if you aim at JUST the cabin. Cannons and all explosive weapons(not avalanche avalanche has 500 impact damage 200 splash) are usually trash vs cabs directly. The splash is blocked also by walls. So it won't even clip non frame parts. Mgs. Wall or not they do the same dps. But you can turn and force them to split damage if cab is exposed first. So double hp if cab is exposed then you turn. So yeah. Expose cab. No matter what you do pool based weapons don't care. They do a large amount of pointless damage. Think 4k damage done 0 parts destroyed enemy has 95% hp left.
Of course, JB has to make another video correcting a lesser experienced crossout player. And of course, he already made a mistake in the first minute but can't correct himself. Again, though this sounds like hate I assure you it is not. I am simply pointing out that JB also makes mistakes and often fails to correct his own inaccuracies.
If i make a mistake feel free to point it out. I'm not a betamalsimpmangina who can't take feedback it only helps to make us learn form our mistakes. Yes i also make a ton of mistakes and also forget things but i try to not give new players bad info.
Do you think the creator you keep correcting is intentionally trying to spread bad info? The difference is you are well established as a crossout creator. Many people go to you for info because they expect you to have the right info. I've pointed out and corrected your mistakes before. All it does is lead to other people in your community coming at me, as it seems they are incapable of believing you could make a mistake. Which brings me back to the start. You are an established creator and many people seem to take your word as gospel, even when you are mistaken.

He was wrong with that sell the catalina cab. However he made made me notice the howl cab, i realized that it is very good for melee or fire builds

shoot through spaced armor is still really good against auto canons and cyclones are pretty meta right now.

Yes that is the only cabin that does that and the cohorts perk as well but those are not upgrade/ fusion perks
I think you missed his co-driver, Grizzly. His perspective is skewed solely based on using the co-driver. Simple thing to overlook.

just use catalina in raid lol as long as survive great score and rewards
