instead of a food plot id use that small of an area for a mineral site but a couple of mineral rocks and rack builder and some corn it works great i get new pictures everyday

bigBuckHunter APG The only problem with using mineral sites is where he's at it may be illegal to hunt over baits such as minerals and corn. I'm from PA and we use food plots to get around that law.
How long do you think it takes the deer to start eating out of it? what if it is around october 12th, and i go up and tear all of the weeds out and rake it and set my seeds up, how long would it take deer to start coming in and how long would it take for my seeds to grow? and what is the best thing to grow? And would it help to put a salt block, a feeder, or some attractant spray around it? ANd how long does it take for deer to get use to a tree stand?
I've got a spot where I want to put up a food plot. It's about half an acre right by a pond. I want to know what I should plant there
would raking the leafs into a small pile and burning them send nutrients back into the soil or is it a waste of time/risk that doesn't have great rewards?
