- I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving!! In this episode, we hit the Hooch the day after Black Friday in search of some nice trout on the fly. As I was headed to the river, the sun was shining without a cloud in the sky. As soon as I stepped in the river, the sky seemed to go overcast and the temperature seemed to be chillier, likely making the majority of fish lethargic. Luckily we were still able to find success in the changing conditions with some euro nymphing / " tight line " nymphing techniques!

Thank you very much !! Yes, this is a 10ft 3wt Syndicate p2 or p6 I believe. Had it about 6 years or more and it's been great despite my beating! The reel is a Guideline Haze V2 reel that is so old it's drag doesn't work anymore - definitely going to need a new reel eventually but I'll use it until I'm forced to use something else! The main thing will be to make sure whatever I get next will create a balanced combo.

This is a 10ft 3wt Syndicate p2 or p6 I believe. Had it about 6 years or more and it's been great despite my beating! Downstream actually! I'm not aware of any wadeable shoals near there!
Is this between Abbots and Jones Bridge ?
It is not the same area! But with your jon boat you have access to some great water!
