He didnt really explain anything at all here. He just says they are better and then the other guy completely contradicts his own point and says “okay, i believe you.” I’d like to actually know why they are better??

if i had to guess he would say that the Japanese server isnt very populated and so the general skill level is lower. Gaming culture in japan is much more insular, mostly Playstation and native game developers, far more casual in their culture.

so not to rly explain but some more facts is that the japanese’s teams all play on korea legit all of them. Top japan server high elo sucks and they basically get about the same ping playing on KR. So japan has nothing special with it’s servers unlike china or anything. They play on korea they have no “secret servers” or anything that gives them an edge. They play on the korean ladder like all the other korean academy so they are equal in terms of solo queue.
Also all of the korean players in japan are essentially “second rate” to an extent kinda like the difference between overseas and nba players. If the korean was good enough he would be in LCK but he isn’t and plays in japan. A lot of koreans are in the japan teams so they are technically comprised of second rate players who weren’t worth developing into academy or weren’t good enough to break into the main roster. Like if your good enough you’d just be on the main roster. simple as that.
Also another thing to note is that scrim quality does matter because it is most similar to actual games that matter. Solo queue can only get u so far. And most japan teams have a lack of high quality top tier scrims. Meaning their practice, the plays they get in game like rotations, team fights, angles of approach are all something top tier teams would never do hence why korea academy teams are better. they play in a more competitive environment with better teams scrumming against the lck teams also mean scrumming against best in the world. The koreans just play a different gamestyle/game plans that japanese teams don’t have access too bc they cannot scrim first rate teams.
If you don’t think scrims matter i would argue that if you give a shit practice you get a shit result. There’s a difference in laning vs someone who doesnt miss any CS. Always looking to play correct whether that’s poking, trading or all ins and always coordinating with jungle. top tier teams and panera provide a type of competition that improves someone via vod review and let’s them learn what holes they actually have in their play style. if your against a shit player they are not gonna do shit and u will think that your play style is good when in reality it doesn’t work in the world stage as shown time and time again with korea and china dominance and NA airport speed runs .
again this is like LS said kinda i just elaborated the points.
